Episode description

An interview with Alexa Netty, the executive director of SolidariTee. SolidariTee is the largest entirely student-run charity supporting the international assistance of refugees and asylum seekers. Through selling t-shirts that are 100% organically manufactured and feature designs by refugees they not only offer a visual display of solidaritee but also raise awareness and money for legal aid.

We discussed the continual urgency of the refugee crisis, the impact of Covid-19 and how anyone can support in a variety of ways. I was delighted to have this charity, which originated in Cambridge, on Bridge the Gap. More information on the crisis and SolidariTee's work can be found at https://www.solidaritee.org.uk
