Tuesday. We have national politics dominating the news, of course, whether it's a Secret Service director or Joe Biden stepping down Kamala Harris antics the fixes in the coup, But we also have local politics we really need to stay focused on, and that may be one of the reasons Joe Biden's out because down ballot races are extremely important and joining us to talk about down ballot races. George Burnhman is also going to have to give us the details about the meeting

tomorrow night at the farm with some really important candidates speaking. Welcome, George Brounman, It's good to have you back on the program. I hope you're well, my friend, I am Brian. Thank you for having me. How are you feeling about the local races? I mean, in terms of positivity or negativity. I don't know if there's any local polling done with regard to like Hamilton County Proskey and Melissa Powers race, or Jim Neal's race or

Commissioner's races. They don't tend to get analyzes like national races do for obvious reasons. But do you have any inside baseball on how things are lining up here in Hamilton County? George, Before we get to the details on the event, No, I do not. Actually, my sense is just the national levels and chaos, and we're feeling similar things here in Hamilton County because

we went from purple to being a totally blue county. And I get the feeling people are frustrated with what's going on, but they don't know what to do about it, or they don't identify what the true problem is. I mean, like you said, at that national level, there's just absolute chaos,

yeah, and just a domino of crazy stuff. But at the local level, I think the most important thing to people who live in Hamilton County is what's happening with the courts, the prosecutor's office, the sheriff's office. I mean, we've seen this transition from basically an entirely Republican bench to now an entirely Democrat bench, and the stories you hear. I do have some friends that work downtown in the Public Defender's office, and the stories are just

crazy. You know, violent offenders being let go. Basically the outcome of your trial is a function of who you are, what you look like, and where you live. It's just crazy stuff. So I mean, locally, I can't think of a bigger issue than you know, what's happening with public safety and what's happening with the rule of law. So amen, and you know what, George, we're gonna break here because we're gonna put a little more flesh on the bones what you just said, but also talk about

the event. What bothers me is if we didn't have Hamilton County Prosecute Melissa Powers and her Facebook account to give us reports kind of real time about no bonds, own recognizance, bonds, light sentences from these left wing judges. There's no local reporting on any of it. We don't have any concept of how bad things are in connection with the judicial system and criminal justice generally speaking. Paused, George is going to tell us all about the event and in

the event at the farm tomorrow night. Let's take a quick breakcare amount of time seven thirty five, seventh thirty six, actually fifty five K City Talk Station usas premium from you know, I Love USA instillation bought it from my daughter. Their house twelve and the exterior walls late seventies built. That was

kind of typical. They didn't have insulation and walls and homes built before the mid seventies and when they started putting it in, it was really low quality, low R value insulation, and that's what USA discovered when they inspected my daughter's home. So as a housewarming gift, we bought the phone for the

exterior walls. And you know, right now, you buy the phone for your exterior walls, whether you're under insulated or uninsulated, the inspection free and free quote will reveal that pay for that, they're going to give you a

free attic insulation. I think it's still ninety nine bucks a month interest free, which is easily affordable, and you may save more than that on your monthly energy buill because savings guaranteed from USA along with the comfort, which you'll notice the day they install it. So take advantage of the free attic insulation and also take advantage of the tax credit. Federal government going to give you twelve hundred dollars for doing what's right, and that's providing yourself with savings and

comfort. I just don't get that it's the right thing to do regardless, but there you go. Take advantage of the dangling carrot while it's being offered. It's like taking two one hundred dollars off the top already affordable USA installation dot Net. Learn more there and call them for the free inspection five one three three eight one three sixty two six three eight one foam fifty five KRC. It's the Marketers Report, Chapter nine. First one weather forecast a partly

cloudy day eighty five for the high with isolated evening showers. Tonight partly cloudy sixty seven. It's mark a lot like today, partly cloudy. I asked isolated afternoon evening storms eighty six for the high down to sixty eight. Overnight dry conditions and Thursday partly sunny, chances of storms in the morning after eight am. I have eighty five sixty seven Right now, time for chuck with

traffic. Well, do you see how tramping center the future of care is happening now through clinical trials and innovative treatments that give patients and chance for better outcomes. Visit uc health dot com. Northbound two seventy five is shut down at twenty eight and no far due to a four car accident. You're backing

up very close to Eastgate. Southbound seventy five. Breakwrights continue through Wachland northbound four to seventy one are off and on the breaks out of Southgate into town Chuck Ingram on fifty five KRC, The Talk Stage fifty five ker Cede Talk Station, Brian Thomas with George Brennman pivoting over to local races. Hamilton County's got some big, big, big races, and we're hopefully really really pushing for Hamilon County proskecut and Melissa Powers to stay in her role as Hamilon County

Prosecutor. We hope Jim Neal gets elected as sheriff and Adam Taylor joins the Hamilton County Commissioners provided voice, well, at least a different opinion from the lockstep uniform voice of the Democrats which control the county. George Brenneman, going back to law enforcement, are you with me on the lack of reporting and a lack of awareness I guess among greater Cincinnati folks and Hamilton County residents about

crime out there. Absolutely, you were just reporting this morning about it stabbing right down the street from Saint William Church. I mean, it's crazy how it has expanded to every neighborhood. I mean, you would think that area would be fairly safe. But it's getting everywhere and nobody's really hearing about it. You get some word of mouth, But Melissa has got to work cut out for her. I mean, even if she does bring charges against people,

what are the chances we get a fair trial. It's so this social justice is just out of control. Anytime you put another word in front of the word justice, I think we've got a problem. I mean, it's just justice or not justice. There's no other kind. And you know, the whole idea that law is supposed to be blind. I have no confidence in that anymore. We've got to get back to where people can expect that, you know, a jury of their peers are going to come to logical

conclusions, non emotional ones. And what is happening is just so important. We're down to our last you know, foothold against just being overrun in Hamilton County. Melissa is, you know, our endgame, last last chance of safety, and she's just incredibly important. You know, her opponent is a well known Democrat, but I don't think she has any experience at all in

prosecutors. Yeah, and that's what early worries mean back. Yeah, I mean, you can have a tough on crime democrat, I will acknowledge that is a possibility, But you want someone that's got experience in the job, and clearly Melissa Powers is the person in the race that has experience. And of course, I you know, listen reminds me of the old Tracy Hunter problem. I mean, she has zero experience to be a judge. Now we've got someone who at least can you know, talk coherently. But is

she really a prosecutor? I don't think so. No, I don't think so either. And for folks who are want to stay up on the illustrations of what we're talking about, since we don't see a lot of it, you know from local news. Melissa Powers, Hamilton County Prosecutor is the name of her Facebook page. I'm just looking at some bond updates. She recently

posted own recognizance bonds. You got sexual fender registry vile, you got all kinds of really horrific aggravated assaults and drug arrests, and people are let out on the street on their own recognizance, which is no bail whatsoever. So let's pivot over to the event that's taking place tomorrow night at the farm where we can all help out by showing up and listening and maybe getting engaged in

some of these local campaigns, George, And that is the key. We've got to do something other than just sit around and whine and moan and listen to other people wine and moan. It's got to be about action. So tomorrow night at the farm in Dell High, we're going to have a podcast at six during the dinner hour, So come and eat and you can listen and get some information. Adam and Jim Neil will be our speakers on the

podcast. Joe does a great job. I mean there's a lot of noise at that place, but the last couple of podcasts have turned out excellent. Yes, Strecker is a podcast guy. I'll give him a free plug. You know, I do owe him a lot. And I'm not doing this because it keeps me out of trouble. Joe does a wonderful job producing podcast. So if you're interested in starting your own podcast, just get in touch with Joe Strecker. But he'll be doing this and he said he'll have his

tip jar out George. There you go, Okay, desserts from the from the table there he settle sign autographs to George. There you go. He did last month. Somebody came up and said, I've never met him before. It was really cool. Well, he is a select We just started the podcast to get the you know, the audience involved early on. It's an easy way to get a ton of information out very fast, and you're

already going to be there eating dinners. So it worked out great. And and from my perspective, having an audience and hearing immediate feedback was such a different experience as just sitting here with the headphones on, you know, saying stuff, No doubt about it. It's cool. Well, let's let's talk about Jim Neil. He's going to be there, Charmie McGuffey, and Jim is another one of those that's a no brainer if you ask me. I at least when he was sheriff, he never lost his car or his gun.

I mean, give me a break, I know. And I think by all reports, morale in the sheriff's department was much higher under Sheriff Neil than it is currently. It wouldst have to be. You got to have somebody that's willing to support you, and you can't be afraid to do your job, which is the problem I think we're seeing right now is that if you're an officer that's going up against you know, a defendant or whoever is committing an act, your first thought shouldn't be, well, wait a minute,

I'm white, he's not. I'm going to get in trouble if I do something. It should be he's breaking the law. I got to do something about it. And I think Jim's got that perspective. He definitely has always had a feel for the community. I remember back in twenty twelve when he first ran, he was at our meetings every month and talking to anybody that'll come up to him. So I Jim's really involved in the community. He's got a great feel for the job, excellent candidate, and a really

a fine human being in his own right. I mean, moving away from the job qualifications and his record, which I think is a very successful one. He can run on having been in the job before. It's kind of like Donald Trump in a way. But he's just a real, truly good man in his heart. Yes, yeah, and I think that counts are something absolutely, and so is Adam Kaylor. Adam is a brilliant guy.

Gottley, is he innovative or what truly just talk to me for five minutes and you're gonna hear like six ideas for how to come at, you know, different problems or create businesses that will solve the problems. Adam's a real out of the box kind of guy. I's onto those kinds of solutions. What we've been doing for the last you know, fifty years here is not going to work moving forward. We got we got to come up with something

different, and I think Adam's great for that. He would really shake up what's going down at Hamilton County. So I think that's he's another excellent choice. He's new on the scene, he's running couple of times, but you just got to come out and listen to him. He's amazing and just where he's thinking about things. Yeah, really really unique perspectives on the Bengals stadium

too. He does that. And he's also a very uplifting guy. He's not a gloom and doomy you know, you know, we're all going to die kind of person, just very positive right, always says a great message. And the fourth person that's going to be there, I guess speaking Logan Peterson, who I understand is the Ohio election integrity director for Trump's what's he going to be talking about? So I heard his presentation a couple of weeks

ago up in Warren County. So they're going to be talking about what their focus is for the election, to try and shut down some of the fraud. Hamley County is a little bit unique. We actually have paper ballants, Butler County does not, and to me, that's just unfathomable. If you don't have a receipt for your vote, how the heck do you double check

it. But he's going to be talking about their approach. We've got a conversation today to getting ready for that and that I think he's not focusing on some of the major problems with dropboxes, and we've got to find a way to solve that as well. But Logan's there to give us the perspective on where they're heading now, and it's our chance to influence where they go before

November. So it's extremely important. I think everyone's of the opinion that if we only count valid votes, it's going to look dramatically different than it did in twenty twenty. So I think that's an extremely important thing to discuss. Sounds like it is to me too, George Brunman, I do not disagree that event again tomorrow night at the farm. Jostrekker will put the details up at fifty five care Sea dot com. I'm a podcast page again. What

is the start time? People need to get at to the farm by what time? Georgia. So the door's open at five point thirty the dinner so you can pick what you want and just pave it for what you want. I recommend the desserts that begins at six pm. We'll start the podcast right after that, and then the speakers will begin the meeting at around seven pm. We tend to get everybody out there by eight thirty, so it's not

extremely long. It will definitely be informative. George Renaman, You've been informative this morning, and I appreciate your coming on the program to tell us all about it and keep up the great work. I know you're involved and engage and I'll echo your sentiments and comments. Get involved, Get engaged. Do something, even if it's just writing a check. Small contribution will be accepted.

Put a yard sign in your front yard, knock on doors on behalf of someone in the you know, Melissa Powers or Jim Nei or Adam Kaylor, just get involved. Every little bit counts. George, We'll talk again real soon and I wish you all the success tomorrow evening. Thanks Grazy Brian, take care of my brand seven fifty to fifty five CAREC the talk station. Get in touch with Emory Federal Credit Union for better way to bank.

single year. At least all the years have been on radius. I think I've been announcing it's seventeen years. But I'll get people going at Four Bridges Golf Club with a few words. The most important thing is you're playing golf, having fun with friends, and it's benefiting Cincinnati Children's Hospital Charitable Care Fund. So you've got a fun filled day of golf, opportunity to support a worthy cause in the community. Just go to EMORYFCU dot org for all the

information. I hope to see there again August twelfth, that's Monday, four Bridges Country Club. Support the great cause. Register online today at EMORYFCU dot org. Fifty five KRC men over forty five
