Donovan and Neil Americans for Prosperity, Bidenomics, and Sharon Brown shared Brown's support of Bidenomics. Of course, passing the torchure Kamala Harris?
Is it gonna be Harris nomics? I don't know. I have to come up with something for that one. Let us see here. Also, it's Thursdays slash Friday Eve, so we're gonna hear from Jay Ratliffe. I heard me the aviation expert, Jay Ratliffe. Always enjoyed my conversations with Jay,
and I hope you do too. Lighting things up as we close out of Friday Eve today, the Apaul plane crash ends with only one survivor not Good American Airlines flight attendants reach a reported deal and another Southwest Airlines flight dropping to dangerously low levels upon approach to an airport. I think it was like flying at one hundred and fifty feet or something from what I read. That's a frighteningly low level. Concerned the size of the aircraft anyway, That will
be Jay Ratliff this morning at eight thirty. What's going on? Well, real quick here in advance of Joe Biden addressing the nation and not explaining why he's quitting. Didn't say a word about that. We're left to draw our own conclusions. Anyhow, more frightening than that, maybe we're being tested again. Prior to the address of the nation, Joe Biden, we had the
Russians and the Chinese. North American Aerospace Defense Command Public Affairs NORAD said that Chinese and Russian fighter we had to send fighter jets to intercept to Russian TU ninety five Bear bombers and two Chinese eight six bombers off the coast of Alaska. Huh, I'm supprised, Joe. Do you wonder where the Iranians were? Do you think the Iranians feel left out for not being invited to the to fly up close to Alaska. They're coming up in the southern border.
At least I can still laugh about it. Agency confirmed the detected tract and intercepted the two Russian t U ninety five and PRC H six military aircraft operating in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone. US and Canadian fighter jets nor ADS fighter jets conducted the interception, so we had some help from the Canadians again,
less than an hour before Biden addressed the nation. According to the statement, the Russian PRC aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace. They said, this Russian and PRC activity and the Alaska ads IZ is not seen as a threat. Really well, maybe not an
immediate threat, but it certainly suggests to me that a test. Let's see what the United States and Canada does when we team them, thinking from a Russian perspective, when we team up with the Chinese and get close to their sovereign airspace. Let's just see how they react. H frightening that frightening that anyway, Biden did speak, speaking a night behind the Resolute Desk in the
ol Little office. He started, I've made it clear that I believe America is an inflection point, one of those rare moments in history when the decisions we make now will determine our fate of our nation and the world for decades to come. The decisions we make now, is that the royal we or is that the decisions that he and Obama and the inner circle that tells Biden
what to do make. He didn't answer the question in the defense of democracy, which is at stake, I think it's more important than any title referring to the office of presidency. However, however, in recent weeks, he went on later in the speech to say, it's become clear to me that I needed to unite my party in this critical endeavor. I believe my record as president, my leadership in the world, my vision for America's future, all merited a second term. Huh. But nothing, nothing can come in
the way of saving our democracy. There we are again, and that includes personal ambition. This from a party who throughout the democratic process of nominating the candidate for presidency in favor of railroading Joe Biden out of the office and picking whoever the hell they wanted Kamala Harrison this particular case. So I've decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation. Nothing, nothing can come in the way of saving our democracy, and that includes personal
ambition. Referring to himself, he gave you assurances that he would continue his job as presidents. He will continue to lower costs for hard working families. How's that working out, folks, growing our economy, etc. He's going to be calling for Supreme Court reform, he says, while he's still on the job. He's going to keep fighting for the cancer moonshot. You think that was the kind of a shot over the battle of Donald Trump who said
he was going to cure cancer. They all claim they're going to cure cancer. Uh, Supreme Court reform, because this is critical to our democracy. Supreme Court reform. He said it twice in one sentence. What does he mean with Supreme Court reform? You don't get your way in the courts because the law is what it is. The Constitution does set parameters and limitations on what can and cannot be done by way of executive pen waving. It does
have limitations over the size and the scope of federal government. It's right there. All powers not specifically retain herein I shall be belong to the states. Tenth Amendment stuff right the founding fathers, the highest supreme law of the land says limited powers of federal government right there. This is all you get federal government, the states retaining the balance of it. The courts confirm that by
way of decision making. And that's a problem. It needs to be reformed, allowing states to go their own way and make their own decisions and draw their own conclusions. Got a caller late in the show yesterday. Fred is upset because his roads need to be fixed. Exactly, it's a local issue. Obviously, our local government has failed. That caller, Fred, I believe his name. How likely is Fred's road going to get fixed if the
federal government's powers grow and whittle away at the state's powers. That it's not that's the point. So it's calling for Supreme Court reform, in other words, in order to expand retain grow the power of the federal government. Was still reeling from the abortion decision. Abortion that the Supreme Court's overturning a road the way didn't do anything except really, I think in a large part probably span access to abortion. Now that hasn't been the case in some of the
states. I recognize that, but there are profound limitations within Roe v. Wade on the third trimester. And now we've moved to states where they have their own choice in the matter and can decide what limitations are on abortions, and some states say basically all the way through pregnancy now, which is disgusting, but at least you get a say in it. It becomes a more local issue. Parenthetic. We're not at war anywhere in the world. He did say that. Again, I don't know that that's the case. We're
also securing our border. That's a quote. Border crossings are lower today when the previous administration left office today. What about the situation up until three weeks ago when Joe Biden went to Donald Trump route and executive ordered a limitation on the number of people allowed into our country. And I don't know that his facts and figures are correct. I just go ahead and give him his due. Maybe there are fewer at this moment in time than when Trump left office.
Trump did everything in his power to try to curb the border surge. He wanted to build a wall. Of course, guess who stopped that from happening. I mean, his efforts were thwarted by Democrats. Trump's efforts would have been more successful had the Democrats and I'd gotten in the way and then undone when Trump did. But look what Joe Biden had to do in order to bring about what he said yesterday securing the border. Oh maybe Donald Trump
was right with his policies. The American people are a little upset and disgusted with the surge of illegal immigrants taking over all the resources and available dollars that we have, which we really didn't have anyway, the constituents are upset. I'm gonna have to go the opposite direction. Joe Biden waves his pen and look, now we have a secure border. Is that all it took? Why did you wait? Sadam Long? Joe anyhow, Absent was any explanation
as to why, based on his awesome record, he's stepping down. Why is he stepping down when he's able to fulfill the balance of his term. He didn't stay. He didn't explain anything. The defensive democracy, which is this sake I think is more important than any title, without saying why he could no longer do the defending did he reassure he's capable of doing the job the balance of his presidency. No pulling. That's why he got squeezed out.
And why do you think he was pouring pulling poorly? You got two things to hang your hat on. One, of course, his age and infirmity. Well it's not his age. Actually it's his infirmity because you can struggle with cognitive decline at really any age. So the eighty one year old man is really not the issue. It is the feeble minded eighty one year old man. So hang your hat on that. But I think more fundamentally, and this is something we're talking about yesterday. Policies, folks, going
back to the border policies are why he was pouring pulling poorly. The direction he's taken our country, the fact that no one can afford anything anymore. Everybody's curving like tightening their belt. They're not buying what they used to buy at the grocery store. They're cutting things out from their expenditures because we're struggling economically. If this report hear about how much it cost to buy a house in this I mean how much salary you have to make in order to buy
a house in this country. Now, it's pretty frightening numbers. People want to buy a house, they can't buy a house economic reality, based on policies implemented by the Biden administration. So there's your more primary reason. He was pulling so poorly, so poorly across the board, and even states that were never in place started leaning toward Donald Trump or at least getting precipitously close
to crossing that fifty percent threshold. They pulled the plug on him because of his numbers, only part of which were the consequence of his cognitive decline. It's policies, and Kamala Harris is going to double down or even triple down on this five eighteen fifty five KARCD talk station. Get a scan and don't pay outrageous amount for it. Yesterday, I was alerted to the fact that apparently if you mispronounced Kamala Harris's name, I learned yesterday, and thank you to Mississippi James Kamala this. He's the one that said. You know. I struggle with that too, because when I read it, I want to say Kamala, but I
had to train myself to say it properly, which is Kamma. Look Kamala, very slight difference, and I didn't realize it was race, just to mispronounce someone's name. I just thought it was an error, lack of knowledge or information. So I was educated yesterday and apparently I have been pronouncing it
correctly by saying Kamala. Anyway, turned new Democratic Representative Amelia Sykes, who is running for re election here in Ohio described as a vulnerable race, was asked a question yesterday, Congresswoman, do you think Kamala Harris or Kamala I believe is the way. The reporter asked the question, do you think Kamala Harris is doing a good job as the borders are? Yes or no borders are? That's another thing that's going to come up in conversation this morning.
Her response, I don't know who Kamala Harris or Kamal Yeah, Kamala Harris is. This is the Democratic representative of the new sectional hip. I don't know who Kamala Harris is. The questioner says, well, she's the vice president, bottom line is. In a statement later, the spokesperson Aiden Johnson from the DCCC said, what was because they mispronounced her name? If Republican trackers and Kevin Coughlin are going to ask about the vice president they should know
they should show respect and start pronouncing your name correctly. Okay, so we're going to start well, we can avoid tough questions by merely hanging your hat on a mispronounced, mispronounced name. Okay, that's going to do well for her in the state of Ohio, which is often described anymore as a red state. Interestingly enough, feel free to call five one three, seven four

But we are heading into the weekend anyhow, Let's go ahead to the phones. Five one, three, seven two three talk Dave. Good morning and a happy Friday Eve to you, sir. Good morning, Happy
Friday Eve. Maybe Friday for me, I'm not sure, but yeah, I call. I told Joe Trump's ear. Trump's ear actually tells a tale of what happened. And I'm surprised that actually a little upset with myself not having caught it immediately. When he looked at that screaming, he took about a half step to the right and career turned and cox his head at the same time. The geometry says that there's no way that kid got that round off to his ear without going through his skull first. That means that there
were two shoot and only yesterday. I've confirmed by three sources that there's audio analysis saying there were at least two shooters. You want to let my listeners know the sources upon what you're relying. One came from Jellyfish News, which is John b Well site. That is, he's your pre overnight program on Keresey on Friday only, but he's live on his own stations Monday through Saturday, and he got the news from where. I don't have it in front
of you right now. Yeah, I can't tell you where. Breakdown. See this is the analysis I go through. I hear stuff like this all the time. If I write it and put it on the internet, somebody's gonna repeat it no matter what I make up or put that on the internet. I want to know where the information came from. Is it an insider, is it a whistleblower? Does the source have connection with the information? You know it's just because some guy says it. I don't know. I
haven't read that literally anywhere. So let me ask a different question. But if if that information is so wrong, I didn't say it was wrong, I'm questioning the source. This is the point. I'm questioning the source. How about a personal observation. This is not somebody else speaking, This is me speaking, my personal observer, the one that said he got shot in the face and that there's those were bullet wounds on his face and it was
just a blood trickle down down his cheeks. I mean, that was the day after the happen You called here and said he got hit with multiple rounds. We know that's not true. Uh yeah, there's it by twice. But anyway, that's that's that's not what I was going to observe. But I'm just going to I'm going back to comments you made previously, Dave, and just just pointing out that the landscape changes moment to moment, and you said something that is obviously wrong. You're going to find it's correct. Now,
you're going to find his correct now. The other thing is Dan Bonginouh. It did an analysis which I watched the full bearing of shortly after, and he sided several failures that all happened at the same time. Now, how many failures that happened at the same time need to happen at the same time before? It's beyond coincidence and it's a total flipping setup. I'm telling you it was a setup from the inside. How did it? How did
it fail? Yeah, you're to have an assassinator? Is that we're suggesting this was this was purposely just done in order to bring about the death of Donald Trump? Is that the setup you're talking about? That is exactly correct? Okay, go ahead. Trump told you how it failed. Trump told you, truck told the whole world how it failed. He said, by the hand of God. The only reason he's still alive is because of God,
God protecting him. Okay, where is God during the Holocaust? Where is God during the wars and famine and pestilence that have gone on since day one of his globe that we live on? I mean, how is it that God the Old Testament? Yeah? Yeah, you know, yeah, yeah, he's there too. He just doesn't like everything that we do. We're a bunch of dumbasses down here on this planet. Na. Thanks, Dave, appreciate your call. Man five point thirty four to fifty five kir
Steve Talk Station. We're a bunch of dumb asses down here on this planet. Uh, Okay, I'm sorry. We have different perceptions, and I know that maybe my perception flies in the face of many others perceptions. I do believe were given the freedom of choice, and that maybe God does have a divine plan for all of us. But I don't really believe the hand of God comes down and intervenes in every single aspect of her life. I don't think he controls the outcome of a Bengals game, for example. I'd
like to think God doesn't care about that. But if God were engaged actively in preventing harm and evil from happening. You got to wonder all the different times that we've I mean, why didn't he stop COVID? Why do we even get COVID in the first place. I think we're free to make mistakes
and draw our own conclusions and inferences from the mistakes that are made. Maybe we should learn some from the outrageous behavior that dictators and evil people have done, the harm that has been just meted down on people over the centuries. Don't do that. These bad things are illustrative guides for learning and growing and evolving as humanity. Thank God, yes that Donald Trump didn't get shot. It's nice to be able to say that. And it's wonderful to believe in
a higher power. They practically speaking, you know, why not why here and not over there? Why did it happen this time but not in this other instance? Sense? Why did John F. Kennedy get his brains blown out? I questions of faith. We're all left to our own devices, right, we are all left to our own choices and our own perceptions of reality. I'm just looking for something concrete of this world. If there were two shooters I'd like to know that I haven't seen any evidence of it.
We're still in the dark, and we live in a world here, in this particular country, where the powers would be actually want to keep us in the dark. We know that for a fact. Look at the US Secret Service director under cross examination by congress people of both parties, not answering a damn question for information that we know she's got, and the Secret Service is
still looking into who was providing overwatch for that particular built. Still, the director admitted during during a question that she had interviewed every single agent who was there. How can they not know who is providing overwatch for the building? We know they know the answer to that question. They just keep us in the dark. Sadly, I'm left in a position of being in the dark like everybody else, which allows us. As was part of the testimony,
do you think that these conspiracy theories are bad for the country? Yes, she said, they are. Well, why don't you do something to dispel them? Now we've got multiple shooters in multiple bullets, and there's no way Donald Trump could not have been I thirty seven fifty five cares toe the dok station. of mail fraud and filing a false tax return. Cour to the US Attorney's Office Special Agent in charge said, Mellows penshank for extravagance is what brought her down. We identified her and reported income was well below the lavish lifestyle she lived, so we uncovered the details. The criminal scheme grew, the dollar amounts grew in the reach of her spending grew. Financial crimes have victims, and this one took opportunities away from the children and families of our military men

Ran the scam between twenty sixteen and twenty twenty three through a phony business called Child Health and Youth Lifelong Development. Prosecutors called her called the organization of Figment of the

taco with pound five fifty on at and t fund stick. Around one hour from now, Alex Channtafila returns to the fifty five HEREC Morning Show, head of the Ohio Republican Party, to talk about Biden's dress to the nation last night, which was really how great a job he's done, and yet he's not going to continue doing it. No explanation why is bowing out? We're left our own conclusions on that. So yeah, I can read the speech
and I'll take a few minutes. I don't know how long it took him to get through it himself, but it's really kind of shallow and lacks depth, but doesn't answer the question of why he's bowing out, So you can feel free to draw your own conclusions. I go with, you know, the two things that I mentioned in the last hour. His infirmity check, that is true, but more his policies. If he had great policies and the place was a well oiled machine, he'll be in ahead of the polls,
right, I mean, don't we all agree on that. I don't think any of us can deny that the president is, in many respects largely a figurehead, and that he doesn't make his own decisions. No president does completely. They're not all knowing and all seeing on every subject matter. They
rely on experts and people around him. In this particular presidency, many people in my listening audience, and I can count myself among them, kind of presume that Obama and his people are the ones that are making the decisions and
telling Biden what to do. But if those decisions were good ones for the country, and we were on a right path, and we all felt that way, the economy was rolling along, the inflation wasn't so outrageously high, we could afford groceries, we could afford housing, all the things that are so important, We had a secure border, there wasn't crime ramping in the streets, you know, that kind of thing, then he'd be on his way to victory. I mean, they've already baked into the cake, this
whole evil Orange Man thing. I mean, there's people have this I called a Pavlovian response. Yesterday when talking about this. It's the only reason Trump is behind, I think in any poll, because we've got four years where we were in a better situation, a better place to compare to where we are now. I mean, it doesn't take someone that's looking at every single wine item detail about the world. We got a sense of it, we know it, we're living it, and ergo, the polling is down so
much so they had to pull the plug on his campaign. So age yes or infirmity rather yes. But I think more fundamentally the issues are what's sinking Biden and are you going to get anything better with Kamala Harris. I just got a big kick out of Hillary Clinton's op ed piece in the New York Times. President Biden's decision and his campaign was a pure, active, as pure an act of patriotism as I've seen in my lifetime, she wrote,
among other things. But fast forward in the article. Here's a line from the center of the article, or almost halfway through, which I think she should have made. First, all of us voters must be thoughtful about what we read, believe, and share. And amonishment from Hillary Clinton that on the heels of making a statement quote, there is now an even sharper clearer
choice in this election. On one side is a convicted criminal who cares only about himself and is trying to turn back the clock on our rights and our country. What do you think she means by that? It's an empty statement. So yes, I am being thoughtful about what I read, believe in, share, which I recommend doing all the time, just because someone says it, like Abraham Lincoln once said, if you read it on the internet, it's true, turn back the clock on the rights in our country.
You know, I think the only thing that she's referring to is turning back the clock on the rights is the abortion issue, which is not a federal anymore. On the other side is a savvy former prosecutor and successful vice president who embodies our faith in America's best days are still ahead. It's old grievances versus new solutions. Well, I'm being thoughtful and about what I read, believe in chair and I am struggling to find in what way, shape or
form. Kamala Harris has been a successful vice president given that her primary task, the most prominent check task, is that she was the borders are which the Orwellian media is trying to now backpedal off of I get that to the minute. No, No, she was never The borders are really after you said that like countless times over and over again. That's a comical road we
can go down a little bit anyway. Clinton writes, Missus Harris record and character will be distorted and disparaged by a flood of disinformation and the kind of ugly prejudice we're already hearing from Maga mouthpieces. She and the campaign will have to cut through the noise, and all of us voters must be thoughtful about what we read, believe in share. That's where the line came from. And here's a great paragraph. I mean, we are talking about Hillary Clinton.
This is a Hillary Clinton op ed piece, and so of course it has to be all about Hillary Clinton as much as possible. I love this. I circled all of the eyes, and I've I know a thing or two about how hard it could be for a strong for strong women candidates to fight through these sexism and double standards of American politics. What decade is she speaking from. I don't know a single human being who believes just because the person is a woman, that you would be incompetent to manage elected office.
I mean, I remember Margaret Thatcher's successful running in the United Kingdom. She was in a powerhouse, a force to be reckoned with, and not the only woman politician on the globe or even in this country. We've been electing women to high office for decades now. Hillary, I don't know what land you landed in. They want to live in the past. They're the ones that go around saying we live in a racist country. Yes, we once
did, but not everyone. A lot of people who fought to eradicate slavery, even back in the Civil War. Remember all those white people who held arms against the evil Confederates. One of the main reasons slavery and the abolishment of it. Anyhow, I've been called a witch, a nasty woman, and much worse. I was even burned in effigy. As a candidate, I sometimes shot away from talking about talking about making history. I wasn't sure voters were ready for that, and I wasn't running to break a barrier.
I was running because I thought I was the most qualified to do the job. Well, it's still pain to me that I couldn't break through that highest, hardest glass ceiling. I'm proud that my two presidential campaigns made it seem normal to have a woman at the top of the ticket. You didn't do that. Miss Harris will face unique additional challenges as the first black and South Asian woman to be at the top of the party's major parties ticket. Again,
we've been blecting black folks to high office for a long time. Had Ken Blackwell on the show the other day. Black Man was mayor of the city or mayor of the City of Cincinnati, Secretary of State, right, I mean, his record is amazing. He's a conservative Republican too. Nobody had any problem with Ken black Man. Nobody had any problem with Obama. He was elected president twice. We're in to post racial world here for the
vast majority of people seeing people anyway. So after talking about her being the black and South Asian woman at top of the ticket, that's real. But we shouldn't be afraid. Ooh, why would anyone be afraid of a black Asian woman. We might be afraid because of the policies that she wants to implement. That's one reason, which has got nothing to do with her race or her color of her skin. And let me just also point out this
is rather bizarre. Hillary Clinton's focusing on the woman part of it. She's a woman. She's got a problem because she's a woman. It's going to be a problem because she's running for high office as a woman. Oh oh, this is the party that doesn't even believe in gender. You can be whatever you want to be, just declare yourself. They're the party of gender fluidity. Apparently your sex does not really matter, or at least your biological
sex. As we saw on the twenty twenty two midterms, abortion bands and attacks on democracy are galvanizing women voters like never before. Well again, I keep going back to and I've set it on blue in the face Donald Trump, or rather Donald Trump and the federal government can no longer impact abortion policy.
Talk to the state's Hillary. I know you're trying to gin up support among your base by keeping by focusing over and over and over and over again on the one issue that you have a majority of Americans on, That is the ability to have access to some part of abortion. But that's not a federal issue, So throw that aside, and then you're left with a tax on democracy. And in what way is Donald Trump a threat to democracy?
It's a throwaway statement. It doesn't mean anything. We have a constitution, and yes, the Supreme Court is the one that's at least upholding the foundations are the fundamental principles. While of the Constitution a limited federal government with finite powers that really pisses them off because it interferes with their you know, executive pen dictatorship type executive office that they want. They in fact are the threat to democracy. The Democrats, well, the far left of the Democratic Party.
I'm not going to accuse all Democrats of being a threat to democracy. I know same ones. But this is the obviously the old bait and switch to the left uses all the time. They just go after the other side for doing exactly what they're doing real time in front of your face. So I choose as a voter to be thoughtful about what I read, believe, and share, and I will be critical in my analysis of what's being said. So I'm taking Hillary Clinton's advice as it relates to her own op ed
piece, which I encourage everybody to listen to read. Hillary Clinton, how Kamala Harris can win and make history. Steve hang On, I just looked up and saw you're there, brother. Steve. Welcome Steve, Thanks for holding over the brake there. Yes, sir, if I can make a couple of trivial comments before I get to my main comment, which might also be trivial, knock yourselco You were going on about Hillary Clinton, and I agree with Hillary. She is you know, I can imagine people
calling her a witch. That doesn't surprise me at all, So I agree with her. I never thought those words would come out of her out of my mouth. I was not able to call the other day, so I'm going to reach back. You've got to go back in time and think of things you said yesterday or two days ago. But you were talking about and it is twenty twenty four, Snoop dog is going to carry the flag in the Olympics. Well, the Olympics are a joke. It's just a marketing
point. How much money can these can anybody participating make that? It has nothing to do with anything but that. But here here's you know, I would be surprised if he wasn't carrying the flag. It's twenty twenty four, it's it's the Olympics, tors, not a flag. That's where we were joking about him do whatever whatever. Yeah, yeah, well do we want him around an open flame? I mean, couldn't resist. But guess who's
carrying the flag? Lebron James. Now this is a guy. Why not pick the guy who kneeled for the national anthem for for a good year or two at the start of basketball games in this country. What a great representative of the United States. He'll be the guy that kneeled when they played the national anthem at Laker games. That's the guy we're going to have carry the flag. I love it. It just makes you proud to be an American.
And here's my main point, which is trivial as well. Thank goodness we have the most transparent administration of all time, because if we did not, I wouldn't know what's going on. But since they're the most transparent, we all you know. I'm glad that got clarified last night too, because I mean, I I thank goodness they're so transparent. So you have a good day, pull your tongue out of your cheek and gonna pop a hole. And there's the appreciate the call. And I had forgotten Lebron was one
of the guys that kneeled. I you know, and maybe that's a subtle political point they're trying to make. Hey, Bill, thanks for calling this morning. Happy Friday, Eve, Hey Brian. Yeah. On Hillary Clinton, you know, it's kind of funny, but I think she ought to change parties and become a Republican when she was running as the nominee become the Democratic Party nominee for the president. It was them who turned her down and turned her away from becoming the president or you know, to be elected.
It wasn't the Republicans, it wasn't anybody else. It was her own party that did not give her the nominee to run. You think maybe much in the same way. I believe the most prominent reason that Biden pulled the plug on himself or had the plug pulled on him was policies and the direction of
the country. You think maybe that Hillary Clinton's record and the corruption that was swirling around the destruction of all her emails and documents and running a server from her home that was not secure and been hacked into the Russians, her collusion and creating the Steel Report, and support of this fake Russia Russia Russia Trump collusion nonsense. You think any of that among just that's just a couple of the multitude of reasons that people might not have want vote for Hillary Clinton.
That that might have been said something new with it. You know, you bring up a good point. If she ran, if she turned parties and become a Republican, the media would throw that in her face, but they don't do that when she's a Democrat. So that would be fun to watch. But no, as far as you know, Obama turned around and had a meeting with Bill, and ever since that happened, Obama won the presidency. Hillary had to go flying around in an airplane for eight years and never
touch ground. I mean, it's amazing to listen to these people and think that we don't have a memory to remember everything that happens. Thank you for that fundamental point, Bill. I appreciate that you're right. I think we're smarter than that, right, And it's just sad that we get to hear the same mumbo jumbo. I mean, back in twenty years ago, we didn't have the quick access to the print to the Internet that we do now. To go back and listen to summer recordings. Oh, you just stepped
it right there. No, I know, I was just looking at this article. That web page the gov Track, which rated Kamala Harris the most liberal senator back in twenty nineteen, the most little. They removed that just yesterday. That has been up since twenty nineteen. Oh well, our policy has changed a few years ago. We just didn't get around to taking that one off. We no longer raid senators annually. We do it every two
years now, So it's been deleted. The Ministry of Truth, George Orwell's Ministry of Truth from nineteen eighty four is alive and well, so you're right. We have the Internet. We can often go back and see what they said, when they said it, and exactly the words they use, unless they take it down. I just feel I feel so sorry. Well, I just think that the rest of the world has the constantly look in America and think that we are just so stupid and the way we do things and
our bill. Maybe that's by design, Maybe that's the point of why they're making our country such a mess, so that it does reduce America's status globally, It does make us look clownish, It does reduce America's superiority in the hearts and minds of those around the globe. Right's much more. I don't know much more time I have, but anyhow, you know there's a lot.
We're out of time. Well finish your point, We're going to have to go okay, Well no, I'm just I'm just so surprised that nothing's brought up about this September October. But when we won't be able to pay our bills and we're going to fall in debt to China or Rush or both, I'm just amazed that's not the top story, and I wish that it should be the top come up with it, should I wish the Republicans would come up with a contract for America so we know what they would do and
vote for, and get the Congress and Senate this time around to follow and see how many people would follow along. Well, the Republican Party did come up with a platform. It is a lot shorter, it's easy to read, it makes perfect sense, and it's not the twenty twenty five project from the Heritage Foundation. Even Donald Trump has said, I don't even know what the hell that is, so trying to tag the Republican Party as inextricably intertwined
with that particular nine hundred page report from the Heritage Foundation. No, that's the Heritage Foundation with its grand and glorious, long winded list of g if we could only accomplish everything, what do you want on the list list? So that's not the Trump platform, that's not the Republican Party platform. Although it does contain some very notable and important things, it should be accomplished.

important than any title. Without saying why he could no longer defend democracy himself. Biden said his accomplishments had earned him a second term, but he wouldn't be seeking it. I keep going back to, Okay, I believe more fundamentally the people were against Biden as president or polling wise because of policy.
Health obviously had something to do with it, although according to the press secretary, we all know, we can believe krane G and Pierre his decision to step aside has nothing to do with his health repeated that over and over again. It had nothing to do with his health. His letter, he talked about the country, He talked about the party, he talked about the moment we're in right now. It is not about his health. I can say,
no, that's not the reason and what I to say. But hear him out tonight and he didn't say anything about his health, and he was addressed, Fine, it's not about his health. What could it be Maybe he's behind because of policies. Could it possibly be you may just throw this
out there. We're going to find out soon enough. Could it possibly be that his agent his health did come into play because voters, when asked to decide who they're going to vote for, decided they would not vote for Joe Biden, or were leaning against voting for Biden, perhaps even going for one of the independents you had, Robert F. Kennedy Junior, or maybe a Green Party or somebody. But because Kamala Harris is his vice president and that
concerned people, I'm just throwing it out there. Just maybe we'll find out soon enough. Anyway, I mentioned this earlier in passing gov Track, which was cited quite often over the past several days, pointing out back in twenty nineteen, the Kamala Harris was the most liberal US Senator one hundred of a list of one hundred different senators, she ranked the most liberal, with Bernie
Sanders coming in a close second. Go ahead to GovTrack and try to find that page because they removed it. Interestingly, just yesterday, self described government transparency website scored her again the most liberal back in twenty nineteen, but the webchair web page with the ranking recently deactivated. If you go there where the
link was, it now says page not found. If you go to the Internet Archives, it shows the pay was deleted sometime between July tenth and July twenty third, and some people pointing out that it was still up on the twenty second. Looking at my watch, it's the twenty fifth. So once the media got a hold of it and put it back out there in sight of the specific site, GovTrack said, ah, we're going to take it down. So Fox News reached out to the GovTrack founder, a guy named
Joshua Talburr. He said the page was removed because the company adopted a policy, in his words, several years ago to end its single year ratings of lawmakers and do only ratings based on congressional sessions obviously two years quote. We determined that the limited data available in a singer year was not sufficient to create a reliable portrait of the activity of legislators, particularly given the ebbs and flows of the legislative calendar, and therefore did not serve as a useful tool to
our users and of the American public. We subsequently took down the previously published single calendar year statistics for the same reason. So several years ago they changed their policy to do two year tracking. This was twenty nineteen, and it was up there until just a couple of days ago. Why when he was asked it remained up since twenty nineteen. It was only taken down a couple of days ago. I was focused on more impactful aspects of our work.
What means see, you know, I'm going back to Hillary Clinton's off ed piece. I am being thoughtful about what I read, believe, and to share. Further to that end, I found this one over on bright Barb. But then now they're denying that she was appointed borders Are. There's one article after another from back in twenty twenty one when she was appointed borders Are. They call her borders Are. They talk about her being put in a position to address the surging migration into the United
States and Mexico. Now they're all backpeddling and suggesting, well, no, she was put in charge of dealing with the root problem, which was, well, the issues and problems going on in Central America. Well, you can say that, and she did say that those are the root problems, and we need to put in like weather resistant crime or something to help their economies and help them have a better life, so they didn't want to flee
their country and come to the United States. Fine, that's Central America where a lot of the immigrants were coming. But as we all know now, because of the failed border policies, what is it one hundred and fifty different countries or something around the world that we've had illegal immigrants coming across the southern
border. What does Central American farm policy and global warming have to do with military age Chinese Communist Party men coming in in large numbers across the southern border. What does it have to do with people from the Middle East coming in across our southern border. I mean, on and on and on, But don't call her borders are That's not what she was put in charge of.

I saw this post in a threat on next John lefferv The ferv Anyway, she did a nice summary of the twenty specific reasons why policy is important here and what Kamala Harris her career in terms of her policy and what she has been in favor of what she's advocated for twenty specific points, and I do not personally believe any of these are in the right direction of the country. rounds out the top twenty. Thank you to John for putting those together so we have a handy reference guide. Alex Trantafila after the top of the our news, I sure hope you can stick around updates on the twenty twenty four presidential campaign. We have to meet this moment as if our freedoms are at risk. Fifty five KRS the talk station. This it's seven oh sixty five
KRCD talk station. I'm very very happy Friday Eve to you, maybe even better because it's the return of higher Republican Party Chairman Alex Trantaphila talk about politics. Alex, welcome back to the fifty five KRC Morning Show. It's always a distinct pleasure to have you on my show. Brian, good morning. It's a high honor and privilege to be on your show. It's good to be with you. I'm glad you feel that way. What's your reaction to
Joe Biden's sort of kind of announcement last night. I didn't really put any flesh on the bones of why he stepped down. He said he was doing a great job. He's in a position to continue doing that. Great job through the balance of his presidency, but it's time to pass the torch to a younger generation. You take any comfort in that, And what do you draw from it, dlex Well, I mean, my drawing from it is that clearly Joe Biden was pushed out by the Democratic machine, by the Wall
Street financiers who stopped funding Democratic efforts. You know, about ten twelve days ago, Brian, there was I thought a very very good piece of journalism out of the Wall Street Journal that essentially talked about how Wall Street had shut
the spigot of money to the Democratic Party and the Democratic candates. And look, I've been in politics a long time, and if you don't have money to run campaigns and run those television ads and run the camp you know, the operations of a political party things, you know, it makes it nearly impossible to win. So look, Joe Biden has long been under the control of others. That's obvious. I mean, look, I mean I wish the man well in his personal health and well being. It's time to turn
the page from Joe Biden. His presidency has been another disaster for middle class people. Middle class people pay more at the pump, they pay more at the grocery store. You know, it used to be the Democrats spot for the middle class. Now they kind of fight for the elites, the cultural elites, you know, the professors at the universities and the you know, the elites in Hollywood. They're not looking out for regular middle class people.
Joe Biden abandoned those people a long time ago. And so you know my take on it is I expected more, frankly, I expected perhaps a unifying moment for the country. Instead, he continued with the theme of preserving democracy. You know, that's all they have, Brian. I mean, that's all the Democrats have. They can't talk about immigration, they can't talk about inflation, they can't talk about energy production, they can't talk about crime.
We talk about issues. They call our guy a threat to democracy. And then you wonder, you know why things happen like what happened in Pennsylvania. Yeah, and I just asked you straightforward, what does that mean? Do you have any idea what they mean when they say Donald Trump is a threat to democracy? You know, and they're look and it's funny. I get asked a lot, and I mean this not to be flipped to you at all. Brian, But like, I can't answer sometimes why democrats think the
way they think. You know what I mean, Like it's position. You're a political strategist, and you're an excellent one, and you're you're part of your job is to analyze the whys and the warforce, so you can respond adequately to a charge of he's a threat to democracy if you don't even understand what they mean by that, and honestly I don't. They don't ever point to any specific illustration of how it is Donald Trump represents a threat to the republic. I just they just say it as if we get it. I
I'm just at the loss. I mean, you know, I like to think of myself at this is a somewhat intelligent person capable of breaking down things and coming to some grasp about why they're making the argument, so I can respond to it. But I don't know what it means. Thans and I share that understanding. I look, I think you and I are the same. We're evidence based people. I say that all the time to my staff. Let's be evidence based. Let's look at what the facts tell us and
then make conclusions based on that. I have no idea why they say that I think. I think for them though, I think scaring their base into believing that Donald Trump is going to somehow, you know, destroy the republic that has stood tall through civil wars, you know, massive civil rights movements, changes in our constitution. I mean, it's just it's the most preposterous
argument that they have. But again, Brian, the point I would want to illustrate is that the reason they say it again, I'm trying to understand it is one thing, and I'm like you, I'm struggling to understand why they say it. But it's a dodge from the issues that face the country. Again. I filled up my car driving back from the convention in Milwaukee. It was sixty seven dollars in Illinois. Sixty Look, I just drive a regular old Ford Explorer and I put the chief gas in there, right,
So it was sixty seven dollars to fill my gas bank. If you're a regular middle class family and you're out there working, two parents working, trying to you know, pay for daycare and buy groceries, you go to the grocery store. I mean, heck, my wife and I you know, we belong at Costco. We're dropping three hundred dollars a month just at costco I mean, which is a two of us. It's everything just costs more. Joe Biden's America has crushed the middle class. It absolutely has,
and they can't talk about that. So instead they point to a boogeyman in Donald Trump, and that's I think that's their only argument, and it's one of the reasons again you continue to see him lag in the polls. Okay, ah, you anticipated where I was going. The money dried up,
the big wigs that fun campaigns weren't donating anymore. The American public, in poll after poll after poll, said they would not vote for Joe Biden in larger numbers, gravitating over to Donald Trump and giving him the advantage even in the swing states and even making inroads in some states that shouldn't even be up for grabs. So did the money dry up because Joe Biden is a an infirm, cognitively impaired individual, or did it dry up because his policies are
taking our country down the toilet? And if that ladder is the case, and I truly believe the latter is the case, then we're not getting an alternative in Kamala Harris, We're getting someone who actually is even more left leaning than Joe Biden, no question about it. You know, look, I mean, if you like Joe Biden's policies, then you know, then vote
for Kamala Harris. But you know who can like Biden's policies. That this myth that he is perpetuating in his own mind among Democrats, the someone saved the country and all this job creation, I mean, the country shut down because of Democrats, largely during COVID and then claiming the job creation all that stuff is non sensical. We all know this. But look, Kamala Harris,
it couldn't even get to the Iowa caucuses. Brian. What that means to regular folks is she never won a single vote on her way to being the vice president. She joined Joe Biden's ticket, they barely doubt a victory if they did it all in the last election. But her policies again and as a part, and I've said this every elected official, I talked to every person campaigning. If we stay focused on the policies, we win.
The American people are going to vote based on what's happening in their own households, not on some of the superfluous things I don't care about Kamala Harris's race. I don't care about her history and who she dated. All those things are nonsensical, Frankly Bryant, and that's going to get me in trouble with some of my party favorites. But I'm going to tell you that's nonsensical. We should be talking about Joe Biden's inflation, his absolutely poorous southern border that's
destroying our big cities and everywhere else. We should be talking about crime and a last fair attitude toward crime on bail that's making it unsafe to park your car and every major city in America. I mean, we've just got real issues and we should be talking about those. And when we stay on those kitchen table issues, i mean, look, the people in America, when asked is the country in the right track of the wrong track? It's a
seventy percent of the country that says it's on the wrong track. If we talk to those voters about a new path for the country, we win. Couldn't agree with you more on that, absolutely across the board, on issues, issues, issues, So I think what we can conclude from this this exuberance from the left for having gotten rid of the old man, which they keep focusing on. Right, everyone's fucking he Oh my god, he's cognitive impaired. Oh my god, the cat's out of the bag. Look,
George Colooney, finally a minute. Look, Nancy Pelosi, final a minute. They are looking at not the true reason Joe Biden dropped out. What they're looking at as a distraction. Fah my god, we got somebody new and different. We're gonna refresh, We're gonna restart. They're not doing that in terms of policy though. What they're doing is they're excited because Joe Biden isn't around. They maybe they improperly believe that the only reason he was lagging
in the polls is because of his cognitive impairment. They got rid of that part, but they didn't get rid of the policies. So will this actually work for them? Asking you to read your tea leaves, Alex No, I think this. I think Kamala Harris right now is getting a small bump. You've seen it in some of the polling respawning media, which has been over the top. That's not unexpressed, that's not unexpected, right, the fawning coverage. But look, I mean when this thing settles out, she
will enjoy whatever little bump she's getting. Is the new candidate. The American people are going to ultimately ask the timeless what is now a timeless question in American politics? And you know it, Brian, as well as anybody. Are you better off now than you work four years ago? And when asked that question, there's a single American who can honestly say that their situation, the situation of this country is better off now than it was four years ago.
Again on questions of inflation, crime, immigration, you know what's happening with wars all across the world that threaten ultimately threatened American national security. Iron's on the rise again. You see what's happening in Israel. I mean, we have serious world global problems. And if you think that the last four years and American weakness is the answer, well then you know you're in the thirty percent that think the country's on the right track. But for most Americans,
they're going to ask themselves that question. And if I'm reading the tea leaves, I like where we are. But Brian I Almoso are going to be clear with you, is the party leader in this state. We're not taking it for granted. We've got programs up and down the ballot to help drive Republican turnout, et cetera. I'm not overconfident, but I like very much where we are. When we tell our story about how we can do it better. Amen to that. Well, it's pause will bring Alex back

Brian Thomas with the chair of the Ohio Republican Party, Alex Tranthafilo, Right, real quick here before we move over to Ohio issues and raise, and you know, hopefully we're we'll have Bernie Moreno in. But do you have any concept about that lawsuit filed that Trump filed with the FEC about the money going to Kamala Harris from Joe Biden's campaign? Is there any merit to the argument, Alex?
It seems this campaign finance law seems rather convoluted. If you read it. Yeah, I'll confess to not having read it. I know about the lawsuit. You know we support it that there is an argument though for sure, that the money was intended to go to Joe Biden's campaign and not for Kamala
Harris's campaign. So, look, do I place great hope and that the answer is no. I think as Republicans we should get ready to battle Tamala Harris in the literally millions and millions of elitist Wall Street dollars in Hollywood, elitist dollars that will float to our campaign. So again, I don't have a great answer for you, Brian. I apologize, I'm aware of it. I saw a basic memo that was sent to us from some of in
Maryland that we just kind of briefed us about what it was about. But I can't say more than to say that I understand those efforts are underway. I support efforts to making sure that Kamala Harris and the Biden people are in
compliance with federal law. But I don't want for one minute to be distracted from what we need to focus on over the next seventy days or so before early voting starts, and that is to defeat her in the money machine, the absolute money machine that flows from the elite people in this country who care very little about the middle class and what middle class Americans are dealing with. So that's the best I can tell you about that lawsuit. All right,
fair enough, didn't we catch you off guard? But I had a couple of listeners who were curious about that. So it's always worthwhile at least asking, and I'm with you on it that we shouldn't hang our hat on them, but not getting denied almost one hundred million dollars, They're going to make it up elsewhere, speaking of the money machine, money machine off, of course benefiting Shared Brown. Is Bernie going to start running a campaign. I
don't want to be critical of Bernie because I like the guy. I want him to win. I'll do anything I can to help him win. Kind of low on everybody's radar at this point, just because it's the summertime still, I mean, we are keeping his powder dry in terms of money and resources. Alex, you know that's an interesting thing. Actually, I'm glad you brought it up, because you know, candidly, I'm around Ohio so
much that I see Bernie everywhere. I fundamentally see him everywhere. I put it on my social media in case everybody thinks I'm just making that up. I see him everywhere. Here's I think what you're seeing. I think. Look, Shared Brown did not have a primary, and he has spent over fifty million dollars in television advertising. Because Shared Brown had an advantage without a primary and spent fifty million dollars in the first five months of the year doesn't
mean Bernie's not campaigning. He certainly is. He's campaigning very hard. There's a recently released public poll that shows Bernie at three point six percent down. That is within the margin of error for a person Brian who's never been on the ballot. Jared Brown is a career politician, having run since nineteen seventy. This man has been on the ballot. He's a career politician, Chared Brown, so he has the name identification advantage. He had the money advantage
because he didn't have a primary. But this race, the American people of the Ohioans at this point have not yet focused on this race the way a lot of us on the inside have. Bernie Marino is well positioned. Let me share a couple more things with you. If you look at that publicly available poll, so I'm not giving away any insider information. He is down by fewer percentage points than jd Vance was who ultimately won that race. We have a big advantage at the top of the ticket. That same poll has
Donald Trump at twelve percentage point victory here in Ohio. So anybody who's worried about Bernie Marino want to know that. Look, that's going to be a close race. It's an entrenched career politician. Bernie Marino is at first time candate. But the money is flowing. It will be there. And when you see the ads ramp up and you'll see them, and trust me when I tell you this Bright trust me, you can have me back on anytime you like. You will be sick of Bernie Marino and Share Brown ad by
trying to get to the election. So we're going to point out Shared Brown's career history being tied to Joe Biden and to the Democrat administration. He has been the best friend to the pidon the Biden Harris administration of any senator in the country. He has a voting record that looks like Elizabeth Warrens. The Ohioans are going to understand that, and you're going to see Bernie Marino win this race. That's where I am on that. I love your confidence,

Alex said, the one poll that's out, Bernie's only behind by three and a half points, which is
within the margin of error. Very optimistic. Conversation with Alex about Bernie's chances here in the state of Ohio, and he said, by the time the election comes, we will be overwhelmed with ads from Bernie Moreno and of course Shared Brown, who's already been running a lot of ads on television, which regularly needs leads me to ask, well, where is Bernie then, And according to Alex, Bernie's all over the state. He's doing personal appearances,
Q and A sessions. It's just that they haven't started really in earnest running television ads, but that's coming soon. Donovan. Yeah, I think you know, Chairman Alex t is absolutely right. You know, Americans for Prosperity Action, we endorsed Bernie Moreno. I was actually just with some of our team getting some recordings of ohioans for some ads will be running talking about how Sharon Brown has failed them and why we need an outsider like Bernie Moreno.
So hold tight, Brian, the calvaries coming. What we're doing right now though, is knock indors, talking to folks in the communities about and introducing them to Bernie Moreno and talking about Shared Brown's failed record for all the years he's been in Washington. Well, and that's what I mean, this is the primary point we're making in the presidential election. You know, Joe Biden's failed policies I think was the most prominent reas and that they pulled the plug
on his campaign. He's policies led us to this particular state we find ourselves in the country. Sure, he's cognitively impaired, but I think even despite his cognitive impairment, if things were going along swimmingly right now, if the American people were content and the grocery bills weren't through the roof and we didn't have a border crisis, that Biden may very well have even been ahead in the polls. I mean, they've got a built in Pavlovian response when it
comes to Donald Trunk Trump among half the American people. So that's in their advantage. But what it boils down to is policy and Shared Brown is a mirror image of Biden. Policies. Am I right? Absolutely? Well. Again, one of the questions that we've actually got I've had from a few folks, the more supporters, And I even heard it a little bit on the doors this past Saturday when I was out there knocking doors. Hey, if Biden steps down, because remember this was Saturday, he stepped on Sunday.
If Biden steps down? Is this you know? Is Biden Onmic's over? Like, do we not have to worry about that anymore? And the reality is, Brian, No, It's more than just Joe Biden. You know. Shared Brown has been in Washington, has been in politics for thirty years. He you know, these policies that underpin by donomics, high spending, top down solutions, government intrusion and involvement in our lives. That's what
underpins by dynomics. And we've got to make sure that we cut through the noise and connect folks to not just the guy in the Oval office that makes these decisions. Shared Brown has taken votes as well. He's taken votes that has moved and moved our national debt. We're pushing thirty five trillion dollars in
national debt right now. I took a look a while back, between two thousand and eight ten, we were at nearly somewhere between about about ten trillion dollars Shared Brown has been in office, Brian twenty five trillion dollars in national debt we've accumulated during Shared Brown's tenure as a US Senator out of the state of Ohio. I just think that's unaccepted, and we're going to take that
message to the masses across the state. And you know, one of the other messages and I and I talked to this about with Alex and I've mentioned a million times on the program. I don't even know what the hell it means, threat to democracy. I mean, that's just their default throwaway talking point when it comes to the threat the Republicans or Donald Trump or whoever poses to the country, What does that mean? And in what way, shape
or form are we talking about that? But when it comes to the other pivotal issue, of course, abortion, and I don't believe it's within the purview of the federal I'm going to even touch it anymore because of that Supreme Court decision. But the choice is their argument, Yeah, depriving the Americans of choice, you're letting you not let me have a chance. What about school choice? I mean, isn't that an issue that gravitates and works really
well among people of various political stripes. I mean, the Republicans are far more in favor of giving people the opportunity to choose the education system children going into than the Democrats. They're lockstep in it with the teachers' unions, which have failed our children. Yeah. No, absolutely, And well I think part of the conversation that we really need, you know, work. We're pushing one hundred days to the election. Believe it or not, This coming
Sunday will be one hundred days to November fifth. What folks really need to be focused in on in the conversations they have with their friends and neighbors is what you call those kitchen table issues, the issues that are pacting everybody families when it comes to education choice, like you're talking about, Brian, Are we going to elect some Are we going to elect folks who, when they go to Columbus or Washington are going to work to advance empowering families with education
opportunity. Are they going to work to rein in out of control spending that's fueling the inflation that we feel when we go to the grocery store, are they going to be working to unleash energy abundance. That's that for right now. Under this administration in the recent years have cost us more at the pumpultating fifty percent more at the pump than when Joe Biden took off the four years
ago. And then are we going to secure our border? Folks? There were some recent polling done that shows, you know, more and more Americans are frustrated with this country's immigration policies and feel we need to massively curb our immigration policies in this country. I think we need to have a secure border and we need Washington to get serious about about creating an immigration system that all work so that the folks, the best and the brightest from around the world
can come to this country and live their American dream. Like Bernie Moreno his filmy game illegally from Columbia, he found his American dream. He chose to create a business in northeast oll Highland. Now he's looking to serve our state. Those are the kind of folks we want to come to the country. But until we get folks in office in Washington. D. C. Plumost
who are going to tackle these types of issues that people care about. We're going to get team have problems, and we really need to focus on connecting our friends and neighbors to those issues and not let the other noise like this threat to democracy all these other things that the ground that the progresses want to try to engage on because they can't win on those issues, right, they can't win on the issues of energy, border security, and the economy.
But we can because we've got better ideas. Yes, I do believe we do, and Bernie Marino is the man to do the job. Of course, all we can do to help Bernie ma Reno out. And one of the things you can do is go to Americans for Prosperity AFP action dot com, Right, Donovan, Yeah, AFP action dot com over there, sign
up, give us your information. We'll reach out to you. We'll get you plugged in on different ways you can get involved in your community to help lead Bernie to success in November. All right, real quick, let's talk Orlando Sanza. I know you're supporting Orlando and doing what you can to give
him elected. Of course, a wonderful choice over Greg Lansman, who a judge actually said should never hold public office again because of the Gang of Five issues on since II City Council. I think Orlando is a stellar candidate. Orlando came out first met Orlando last year. He came We did one of these gas price rollbacks. We rolled the price of gas back to it. It was with Joe Biden took office two thirty four gallon, by the way, it was a lot cheaper four years ago, and Orlando came out.
He's deeply connected to the problems in Washington. Record of service, phenomenal community leader. We've been excited to endorse him. We've here some very early on this year and are excited to be out there because again, the problem is the the Bidenomics isn't just Joe Biden. He's attributable for a lot of it for setting that vision, but folks like Greg Landsman, just like Shared Brown
and Greg Lambs. In short time Washington, he's helped vote and fuel the national debt and the spending for that is costing us more at the grocery store. Power of the purse lives in Congress, President and screaming thee on one as many or as few policies as he but it's up to Congress to decide. And of course you got a record to run on, and Sharon Brown's gonna have to try to defend his as is Greg Lansman, and we know who the better alternatives are. Donald O'Neil, AFP action dot com. Folks,
it's easy to get gauged. Try to do something anything, and one of the easy ways to do that is AFP action dot com. Donate. It's the Political Action Committee. Look at this, one hundred million pieces of mail. They've sent out seven million doors. They've knocked on one hundred million plus or one million plus voters they've reached. It's effective. They're doing a great job. Donald O'Neil, thanks for the work that you're doing on behalf
of the American people. And I will strongly encourage my listeners get in touch with afpaction dot com and help you help us. Brian, always a pleasure be with you. We're gonna keep knocking doors and look forward to the next time we chat. I will too, keep up the great work. Seven forty one here fifty bought KERCD talk station. Happy Friday, Jay rylerff I heard being the Aviation Expert joints a program Bottom of the Hour every Thursday.
Today. No different we'll talk about than Paul plane crash ending with only one survivor. Jeez, how does one person survive? American Airline flight attendants apparently reached the reported deal and another Southwest Airline flight dropping the dangerously low levels I think was reported like one hundred and fifty feet. We get the details at the bottom of the Hour. I'd love to hear from you. If
you want to comment, feel free to call the Morning show. Encourage it five one three seven four nine fifty, five hundred, eight hundred and eighty two to three talk pound five fifty on AT and T funds. Of course, by no, you're gonna get anything different. No, we've got to run into an issues campaign to run. I was talking about inflationary problems. Last hour got a whole bunch of other information about inflation. Used car prices, for example, have gone through the roof. You know, the average
price of a new car is about fifty thousand dollars. That's just mind boggling to me. So everybody's turning to use cars. A ten year old car. According to Icy Car Study, they did a study of one hundred and sixty nine million used cars sold over the last ten years. Average price of a ten year old car is now twelve thousand and change and flipped back ten years ago was only seven five hundred dollars. Hum, Joe said, thanks cash for clunkers. That's not fair. That's a terrible organization, Joe.
Anyway, market share of used cars back in twenty twenty was fifteen percent. That's a I jumped up to nine team percent by twenty twenty two. The price also went up precipitously, with more people out there in the used car market. That's when the price went over twelve thousand dollars, up from nine twenty twenty. And every kind of car you can think of is popular among the used cars, including Sedan's hatchbacks and apparently wagons station wagons exceedingly popular,
like the Subaru wagon. Anyhow, that's expensive. Of course, the price gasolin, which Alex Tranthafila was lamenting as he had to pay sixty seven dollars to fill up his Explorer with cheap gas. Obviously, that is weighing on people's hearts and minds inflationary realities. So question. As the Democrats rally behind Kamala Harris, it's worth pointing that Jason Rawley did a good job on this one. From the Wall Street primary. Voters did reject her only four years
ago, and she didn't even make it to the Iowa caucuses. I wonder why Democrats did not embrace Kamala Harris and did the rank and file Democrats change their mind. I know there's exuberant out there within the Democrats, just simply because they rid themselves of a weight, which was Joe Biden. But I keep pointing out this morning, I think more of the weight brought about from
the policies rather than the old man's cognitive decline. He could have stayed in the job as long as he was alive with a pulse, even though he's not capable of interacting with people. Because he has people around him who were making all the decisions, you get the same team. That's if his policies were successful. But as Alex pointed out, all the money dried up and disappeared. Why did that happen? People were not supportive of Joe Biden,
and why weren't they supportive of Joe Biden? Do you think it really was all about his cognitive decline? Do you think it's the state we find ourselves in American history? This rally points out, you know, Democrats are gonna have to grapple with Ms. Harris's coastal progressive and which she progressive ism when she epitomizes as part of the reason that she and other hard left candidates flamed
out four years ago when the party chose Biden as at standardbery. You remember those when Biden, the great moderate, the guy that could reach across the aisle, that was going to unite us, all that was going to make us all feel better that none of that happened. The left took over the party, a left that the Democrats rejected in selecting Joe Biden as the candidate.
As Rolly points out, Galliperford this month, fifty five percent of the United States adult adults want immigration levels reduced, up from forty one percent just one year ago, and the highest level that it's been since two thousand and one. Who's responsible for that figure? Changing the Biden administration, the Biden
policies which Kamala Harris supported fully. Oh and notably was it put in charge of I mean, it's you're going to have to remember that is a huge weight that she carries around her, being responsible for the border and the border insecurity. According to Gallop, the shifts and attitudes have come after monthly illegal
border crossings reached record levels late last year. Month measure of most important problem facing the country finds immigration consistently ranking among the top issues of the year. The person responsible for border is the candidate for the Democrats. It's a top ranking issue. It's like number one or two in America on consistent polling over and over again. Who owns that? Did you free yourself? Of that
reality when you got rid of Joe Biden. No oh, and you know, by the way, it's worth noting that Joe Biden did solidify the reality that Donald Trump's border policies were good in spite of the criticism he faced while he was in office. Joe Biden just undid the Kamala, Harris Well and Biden border policies the other day. And guess what, the number of immigrants crossing the border illegally stropped. And they're now around touting that immigration illegal immigration
is lower than it was when Donald Trump left office. Well, why yeah, within the last couple of weeks. Maybe I'll even give you a nod to that one. Great, you put Donald Trump's policies back in the American people get what they've been demanding. In Harris, Democrats are offering a Kennedy who was put in charge of addressing the border crisis and who failed so miserably at that task that more than half of the country is now demanding a reduction
in immigration. It's also a favorite reparations too, which more than two to one Americans reject the idea of reparations. And you might think it's good conceptually, much in the same way you might think that Kamala Harris's push for medicare for all is good conceptually. I'm going to pivot back over to something Alex brought up and to bring up all the time thirty four coming up with thirty five trillion dollars in national debt brought about by government policies already on the books.
What are you going to cut out make room to pay for fill in the blank reparations, universal health care? And when we get rid of all the fossil fuels, which she's in favor of. I don't know. I like the fact that plastics are available. It's uh, it's it's quite convenient to carry something home in a plastic bottle as opposed to a glass bottle. But that's just one little small factor in dealing with the oil and gas industry. See what Mark Scott, Hey, Mark, thanks for calling this morning.
Welcome to the fifty five KRC Morning Show. Yeah, real quick, Brian talking about that clash for clunkers. I remember when they when they did that with Obama did that. That was his greatest thing. And my brother he used to work for super a Honda. He worked for he was a mechanic for years. And I remember when they would bring them cars in. They would have some really nice used cars that could be put on a lot to be sold and sell them. They had to dump the stuff in there.
Yeah, they had to ruin the en and you know the engine kill the engine. Wasn't it like sand or something They were ordered to put in there, and and and and and freeze up the cylinders or something along those lines. You know what it was. It was a jug they dumped in there. And what the sad is saying? Uh? When after they did that, a lot of people were come in looking for used cars, just not there other places, but there was no used cars that you could buy
because they don't deestroyed them all really good cars. It was crazy, you know what. And I apologize because when Joe said to my ears cash for clunkers, and I repeated it out loud, I was thinking of like the uh, the cars for Kids type program or the Good Wills. And I know you're right though. You you're the one that reminded me of the cash for colnkerors program, which was Obama's idea to get old cars off the road in the name of in the environment. Right, how do they how do
they? How do folks living on life's lower margins feel about that? Upon hindsight recognizing the used cars have gone through the roof because the new cars are so expensive, Right, it's crazy, you know, it's crazy out is nowadays, and you know you're trying to you know, you can't even afford a new car and you want to try to get a used one. At the time, you couldn't even get one because it was desjoyed. I forgot all about that program. Mark. It was such a stupid program for all
the reasons you're talking about. And then we get to live the reality. Oh, once again the government coming in to help us, right right, exactly, Mark, exactly, Thank you, Mark, I appreciate your reminding me of that absolutely horrifically stupid idea that did harm the poorest of Americans the most. Thanks exactly. Take care of brother eight fifteen fifty five cares of the talk station five one, three, seven, four, nine fifty five hundred, eight hundred and eight to two three talk God. It was a
dumb idea, wasn't it. And who's the Party of the poor and downtrodden? Huh? Greta Thunberg is happy that you can't afford a car, though, Remember that UH us a insulation. This is a way to save money, folks. I strongly encourage folks to call us a insulation if you're not sure if you have sufficient insulation in the exterior walls of your home, just call for a free inspection. They can do that. Like my daughter,
I love using her as an example because it's a real thing. We bought her the phone for the exterior walls because the inspection from USA revealed that her late seventies build house had R twelve in it that is now decades old, and that R twelve is no longer even an R twelve. It reduces its insulative quality over the time. But with deterioration in went the premium phone.
Now they're enjoying the comfort and the energy savings each and every year they live in that house, and I think it was a nice and nice present to give them as a housewarming present. I know they truly appreciate it, and you will too. If your home needs insulation, the USA folks can let
you know if it has no insulation in it. Because your home was built before the mid seventies, it is an absolute top priority for you as a homeowner because you get comfort guaranteed from the day they install it, and then that energy saving is also guaranteed. So if you pay for the exterior walls and the phone that goes in them, you'll get a free attic, insulation
free, and then you get twelve hundred dollars off the top. Next year when you're doing your taxes, there's an energy tax credit from the federal government trying to get you to do what you should do anyway, which is be comfortable and save money. It's the right thing to do at all times. But take advantage of that because it's laying right there twelve hundred dollars three eight one three six two six five one three three eight one phone. Further the immigration, there was an article earlier this month umber of people with criminal convictions caught it in the United States illegally per month, criminal convictions entering illegally per month they were it was on a record record
highccording to the US Customs and Border Protection. So in spite of the fact that they have I guess cut down to the number overall acrossing the border, the number of illegal immigrants that are criminals has increased figures from earlier this month average of fourteen hundred and fifty nine criminal illegal aliens per month acrossing the US border unlawfully since the fiscal year began last October, every single month, hum
I said, if the trend continues, we'll have seventeen thousand criminals caught by the border folks coming across illegally so far or so far and we're almost into the full calendar year, considering that they're on a fiscal year that begins in October thirteen and thirty so far. Just saying crime and pivoting over to another policy related question, and I know people are all worshipers of the church are
global warming. I do not. I am an I'm an atheist when it comes to that, I don't worship at that church, and neither do the folks from India, Russia, China or Iran, who in speaking of foreign policy and as it relates to global warming, who are collectively laughing their butts off at us. Get a load of this while we struggle mightily and refuse to tap into our own resources in the name of global warming or climate change.
Russian coal is being exported to India through Iran, apparently for the first time, on the railway that they built. Yes, they have a railway going from Iran or from Russia to India through Iran. Head of Islamic Republican of Iran Railways, Guiani my Salia whatever said on Saturday, that's seven freight wagons containing ninety five hundred tons of Russian coal exported to India through Iran's railway track over the last forty days, the first time in the history of that
railway. You said, expressed hope that China and Russia and this route to India would continue, would increase continuously. So Russia gets the fund its economy. It's military whatever Russia wants to fund with coal coming out of the ground that's supposed to be so evil and dirty that we're not even allowed to touch it anymore, although they do dig it out of the ground and sell it
to foreign lands. Go ahead and try to figure that one out. Why are we cutting our own throats while the rest of the world gets to use these products coal, natural gas oil? The two largest countries in the world use it all the time, and China. So if you're a worshipper at that church, why do they get a pass. Why isn't this something that's being discussed policy? It's your policy, don't understand. It's all injuring America.
Our economy suffers mightily because of this, while the rest of the world moves on its way in the right direction. Uh boy, it's frustrating, It really, really, really is. But we do have choices. Get engaged, get involved, and get out and vote. Americans for Prosperity is a great place to do that if you want to help out with like Bernie Morino's campaign, he is an all in on all energy sources kind of guy. So there's one solution to the shared brom Brown problem. Who is all

You two always made happier because this is the time of week we get to talk to. iHeartMedia aviation expert Jay rat Left, Jay, welcome back to the morning show. My friends always read wonderful having you on the show. Hey, pleasy, good morning. Have we gotten overcrowdstrike yet? Let's see. Delta's kind of been the one we've been watching of late, and yesterday they had a decent day. I think yesterday they Delta only canceled. I
think it was what fifty four flights which was not bad. They had twelve hundred and thirty eight that were delayed, but that's okay. It's the cancelations that's a big number. But Delta is kind of known as the carrier that is known around the world as the one that has the best completion factor. They cancel fewer flights than anyone. I remember a time when Delta went one hundred consecutive days without a single flight cancelation anywhere on the planet. Wow.
And this past weekend they had in a week. Can you imagine having more cancelations in a two or three day period of time, then you have the entire year. That's how bad it was for Delta and other airlines. It started with the low cost carriers for some reason on Thursday evening after six and then come Friday morning, we had Delta United Americans just grounded for a period of time until they were able to get things back up and running. Delta's
transition was slowed because they were having issues with their crew scheduling program. As I understand it, the communication between the systems wasn't as rapid as it needed to be. They were doing some things manually. It was an absolute mess. Now you know the one airline that was zero affected, which Southwest. No kidding, because why they didn't use computers. They're thirty four years old, so they're so old they didn't need the updates. So they were the
only ones. Like, yeah, what you think of us now? So I mean it's they're using Apple or something like that, didn't use crowds. Oh that's no, they got their final quarter floppy and strive still working. I tell you frequently the seven forty seven still receive upgrades in the cockpit using
floppy discs. Oh that's hard to believe. Well, on some that's exactly the case, so you know, but they're used for cargo, and those are beautiful airplanes, but they're they're they're gas guzzlers, four big engines, and that's why around the world, for the most part, they've been taken out of custom passenger service. Like here in the US you still have several carriers that are flying them around the world from a passenger standpoint, but no,
sadly those have been relegated for the most part to cargo aircraft. And just what a beautiful airplane it is. They still using a vacuum tubes in there. Hurry crank pedal. Yeah, it's something, but I say, for a lot of people that I've talked to, it's the favorite aircraft to
fly, no doubt. Anyhow, it's just a shocking illustration to me, moving aside from you know it obviously it impacted airlines, but so many businesses around the world were impacted by this one single company and one single upgrade to
this one single cybersecurity system. It just freaks the hell out of me considering, you know, the other implications like if something else were to craft something that we all use and you know, like cryptocurrency or something, what happens there was a glitch on that, how do you possibly you can't buy anything, You couldn't fly a plane over the weekend because of this. It's just
blah. Computer. It is a reminder of that when things go wrong, even in a little way, our life and be impacted in a big way. And you know, we talk about stocks all the time, and one of the things you do is you diversify. You never have too much in one security and when you have too much dependence on a certain thing, which for us is automation and computer and you know, as we're moving more towards
the artificial intelligence and going deeper in that regard. There's some very concerning things as you go down that road, because if they do backfire, if they do shut down, if they're out for whatever period of time, if they're hacked, or something like this just happens where you had mistakes that were made, Yeah, it's something. And you talk about the hundreds of thousands of passengers, not only from Delta but other airlines around the country where people for
three and four days that were desperately trying. We still have some people now at airports that are trying to get there, and the ones that have gotten a hold of me, I've told them, look, the best option is to give the agent alternatives. If you're trying to get to Orlando, tell them, look, Daytona Beach is okay, Tampa's Bete's okay. I'll go to Jacksonville as long as I can rent a cart my expense to get there.
And you always make sure there's one available Bryd to give the options because the idea of every plane nearly being filled already because of the busy summer travel season, and then you have a flight cancels at one hundred and three people we're you gonna put them. I mean, there's just no place to put them. It's almost six thousand flights too. That's just a delta you've got. I mean, it's again, the Insta are the number one airline and
completion factor. And that's why a lot of people, including me making my carrier of choice because I can count on getting Now, I'm always going to try to catch the first flight out in the day because your chances of that being on time are far greater than a flight later in the day that may come after a day of weather delays that Satali are going to catch up on that three or four or five pm flight. So all right, well we'll
bring Jay Rattliffe back. In the next thingment. We'll talk about Catman Dude, an Apaul plane crash, American Airlines, flight attenants, supporting a deal, among other topics with Jay rattl If you have KC detaxation and I get to mention chimney Care, fireplace and stove love those folks, boy, they
really helped me out. An inspection can reveal some problems and that's why I always recommending, you know, take care of your comfort during the months when you don't need the fireplace that's now, or take care of you your ear
safety that's now. Then you enjoy the comfort with peace of mind. So you know when I had Chimneycare fireplace and stove out to my house, I mean Jeff keeper from the Chimney Care fireplaces though, he just kind of shook his head and he gave me this look like, yeah, you don't want to use that. Well, it's because there was a heat venting issue and its building up heat behind the firebox. It was a builder special thing anyway, dangerous situation and I wasn't aware of it. That's the beauty of an
inspection. So out the old went and in went the new. I got a new fireplace insert from the Chimney Care fireplace and stove a new lining. It's amazing, It looks great, it works great. Absolutely could not be happier. That's the way you're gonna be. So take care of the inspection. They'll do a video camera inspection of your flu needs to be swept. you don't even know about. That's possible. They take care of everything. Tuck pointing cap and damper replacement, the sweeping. Oh. Parenthetically, get them to clean your dryer vent out. I know if you haven't, you can't remember the last time you cleaned your dryer. Event it's clogged, I can almost guarantee it. That's just an energy problem, but also it's a
safety problem as well. Venting is critical. So for all things fireplaces, free standing STOs, pellet stoves, get it installed and inspected over the summer. ext Fort Jay Rally. So we got to cot Man New real quick, Jay, And I don't know if you know anything about our military defense or nor Red or anything. I don't know if you saw it right before Biden's speech last night, there were two Russian TU ninety five bear bombers along with two Chinese EH six bombers found off the coast of Alaska. We had to scramble our jets and intercept them to keep them from coming into our airspace or
something like that. That's just scary in and of itself. But you know the fact that the Chinese and the Russians apparently coordinating bomber runs near the coast of Alaska, that's freaky. And knowing we're going to do absolutely nothing about it. Yeah, I mean, if you, if you have certain people in that in that Oval office, those types of things tend to not happen. Thank you for putting an exclamation point on the subtle point I was making
Jay Rattler, all right, let's go over to Catman Do. What the hell? Only one survivor and what an amazing thing that anybody could survive. Yeah, this was a this was a flight out of Catman Do. And it was a Napoleon Airline, soa airlines, and it was a regional jet. It was a CRG Bombardier two hundred series. It's the fifty passenger jet that we came to know under com Air. It's taking off because this particular aircraft it was taken out of passenger service and they were taking it to another
location for some maintenance work to be done. So on this flight, you had nineteen total souls on board, you had fifteen technicians, you had two extra crew members, and you had two family members that were traveling along, so nineteen altogether. And the video from the airport's just terrific. It takes off and it doesn't get much altitude at all before it banks to one side and slams into the ground. Of course, fully fueled up in flames,
it goes and amazingly the captain survives. Now the family as of the last report I saw of everyone on board this airplane, which again I guess you can consider mostly company employees or contractors. They're trying to find out what the maintenance issue was on this aircraft they were going to fix, and it was serious enough that it should have been fixed before takeoff. So a lot of
questions right now, and sadly you have no answers. And you know, Nepoll's not known for its exemplary safety record aim so imagine, Yeah, it's that's why the reasons if you're flying to different parts of the world where you're kind of thinking, hey, I don't know any of these airlines, go to the State Department's website and they have lists of airlines that we should consider
avoiding. That's all this airline was on there. But it's always good when you're traveling because those advisories from the State Department can really come out or come in handy. Now they'll tell us which parts of the world we should avoid
or which one have a heightened risk where we need to be aware. And so for a lot of people that like to take some of those exotic trips, and you know, Sharon, I've been on several of them, one of the things you do as your homework is to find out if the airlines you're flying you need to look out for. So, because when we were in China for two weeks, one of the airlines was Lucky Air. And I can promise you I checked out Lucky Air in China before we got anywhere
near it. Imagine that's just that's just tempting fate in China. Well, Lunky Air sound advice in terms of to my listeners that the State Department has a list of things to avoid in terms of airlines' Oh yes, that's solid information right there, thank you, Jay. And you know, it reminds me that what Leonard skinnered crash. I mean, they knew the plane had needed had problems, and yet they got on anyway and flew it. I mean, is this crash directly related to the problems that this plane was going
to be treated for or do we don't know yet. We don't know wait purely because it may have been another mechanical issue. It could have been pilot air it could have been a lot of different things that might have taken place, and it could have and the speed suggests not. But one of the things to look at it was there any contaminations in the fuel. I mean, if water gets in the fuel, it can it can cause the engines
to stop working. But the way this thing banked and fell it looked like something more than that, because then the aircraft turns into a glider and the pilots have to find it what limited altitude the rat a way to get that airplane on the ground safely. Here the crew didn't have any time at all, it would appear from what happened. And there's lots of times that we have mechanical issues on aircraft that are deferable. They're not considered a Nogo situation
where yeah, we've got this situation. It's not something that's going to be directly tied into the actual peration of the aircraft, and we can defer it till this aircraft gets to the next maintenance up. That way, we don't have to cancel the flight. So if you see an airplane, it's a lot like when people look out the window and they see what appears to be duct tape on the wings. It's not. It's the high speed aviation tape.
And what happens is sometimes one of the many thousands and thousands of rivets we have that are on the aircraft, maybe a couple of them come off and there might be a slight, you know, flap issue where you've got with the caling engine or something that is kind of bouncing back and forth. We slept that high speed tape on there by the mechanics, and then until it gets to the next maintenance facility, that's taken off and those those rivets
are replaced or installed. So a lot of times you see that you're thinking, oh my gosh. You know, they take the engine nown and it's a deferbile item. It's something that's very well controlled and the pilots and the mechanics in the airlines make sure that everything is safe as it needs to be, so it don't panic. It's not duct tape, I promise, high speed aviation tape. Well, i'd say a rose. Just go row image and you'll see tons of pictures of this stuff with people freaking now they look
out the window. Well, I'd just say a rose Blane in the name would still smell sweet. I'd still say it's a duct tape. Anyway, moving on, I can call it that. It's not a lot more expensive than duct tape, I imagine. So let's move to the Southwest airplane. I thank god this one didn't crash into the ocean down to one hundred and fifty feet. Brian, we talked about Southwest four different times on them.
Yeah, we had the flight out of Honolulu, took off, got to one thousand feet and then all of a sudden started to send to four hundred feet before they corrected the altitude and decided to come back and land in Honolulu. Then we had a flight into Omaha that was supposed to be at three thousand feet nine miles out. They were buzzing a neighborhood at twelve thirty in
the morning at five hundred feet. Then there was another situation. Then we had this one going into Tampa, which the aircraft I think was supposed to be at two thousand feet or so and they were at one hundred and what
seventy like fifty three meters or something off the ground, dangerously low. And you have time after time after time where even with all the technology that's at the disposal of this highly trained crew, we've had multiple situations that, for whatever the reason, the aircraft, yes they're boeing, but they're on final approach into some of these airports, are taking off and there's a very serious altitude issue, and I can't begin to explain or try to understand what's causing
it, because airlines in the cockpit, you've got so many redundant type things that you can look at, one of them being the pilots, who are going to know when you're one hundred and eighty feet off the ground, when you're many miles from the airport. That's just it shouldn't be happening. But it continues to. And the FAA has opened up a safety audit to try to find out exactly what's going on here, and they need to because this is unbelievably scary. Yeah, I'd have to change my shorts after I got
off a flight that flint dropped down a hundred fifty feet. When it happened in Honolulu, I thought, okay, they came back because they said there was quote weather issues. I thought, prabb, it might have been something happened in the cockpit where a mistake was made, whatever. But to have one after another after another after another, No, that in that short period of time. You know, I used to think, Okay, maybe it was a training thing that's changed or something, but no, you've got too
much technology in that cockpit. And these are I mean, these are professionals. These are a lot of these individuals as we've talked about former military podcasts, and those folks are trained to the hilt. Believe you me, they know what they're doing and then some so to have this happen like this just defies my ability to understand what's taking place. Well, if you don't get it, I certainly wouldn't. Anyway, it sounds like what could be good
news. American Airline flight attendants are pretty reportedly reaching a deal. Yeah, it looks like they've been able to reach a deal finally with management and they need to, because we've talked about how these flight attendants make like twenty seven thousand dollars a year when they initially begin solo. In fact, in the state of Massachusetts, they actually qualify for food stamps even though they are working
full time, which is crazy. But I'm glad to see it because the flight attendant certainly need this, and I'll be anxious to see the details in the new contract because the old one did not have them getting paid when the flights are boarding into planing, and obviously I'm hoping that changes because they're there in a safety mode, taking care of us in case there's an evacuation, which the one we talked about happened when they had a computer that overheated and
they had to evacuate at the gate. The idea that somebody's getting paid as almost a first responder, that's how I look at them in that situation, is again just shouldn't be happening. I agree with you all day long. You thoroughly convinced me the value of the flight attendance, There's no question about it. And finally, I guess, as we always do, let's close out on Hubblaze. How's it looking out there for air traveled Jay right left. I wanted it to be a good news day. I really wanted to
get to end on some good news. I can't. I mean, in essence, draw a line from Houston straight up to Philadelphia, and anything east of that is a mess. You've got Houston, we're gonna have Atlanta, We're gonna have Charlotte, We're gonna have Philadelphia, washing in d C, New York later in the day. It's yeah, if you're headed west, you're gonna be in a pretty good shape. But unless your airplane is being routed through some of these affected areas. You know you may be going to
California. Say, do you have no weather issue? Yeah, but if that plane's being rounded through Charlotte, you might have some issues. So just make sure the airlines have a way to get a hold of you. Get to the airport again at least two hours before departure has been walking in the door, and it'll better your chances that things go a little bit awry, that you'll have plenty of time to get it worked out. Sound advice, as always from my heart of me the abas next for Jay, ry Love.
