Three Start-ups in Three Years, with Dr. Alex Otto and Tim Otto, MBA

Dr. Alex Otto is a pediatric dentist who with her husband, Tim, have opened three pediatric dentistry practices since 2020. They have offices in Buda, Kyle, and Austin Texas with plans to continue expansion while providing a 5-star patient experience.

Dr. Alex was a GP and an associate who worked at multiple practices before going back and completing her pediatric residency in Alaska. Her husband, Tim, worked in the corporate business world with multi-million dollar companies after obtaining his international MBA with degrees in finance and management. During residency, Tim spent two years learning everything he could about the business side of pediatric dentistry. He and Dr. Alex developed their systems and created the framework for their practice vision so that they could immediately start their practice ownership journey after residency.
