The Ketoret offering, composed of 11 spices, reflects the soul’s yearning to reunite scattered holy sparks with their source, and holds immense spiritual power because it was offered purely to bring joy to Hashem. This joy, when present in mitzvah performance, is considered by Rebbe Nachman to be equal to offering incense in the Beit HaMikdash. Every mitzvah done with simcha strengthens one's ability to access the nine spiritual chambers and draw down infinite light. This connection sustains both individuals and the nation, especially during times of crisis, and underscores the need to avoid sadness and confusion while focusing on divine service with clarity and joy.
