Episode description

In this episode of Breaking Down I.T. with Steve, we're going to talk about the importance of having better cybersecurity as a society. We get inundated with news stories about companies and government agencies getting hacked, and it's clear that the bad guys are getting better at what they do. But it doesn't have to be this way.

We can make it harder for hackers to target us by taking some simple steps. One thing we can do is to make it more expensive for them to hack us. This means investing in better security software and hardware, and making it harder for hackers to sell stolen data.

We can also make it less rewarding for hackers to target us. This means making it harder for them to get away with their crimes, and making it more difficult for them to use stolen data.

Finally, we can make it less likely that hackers will target us. This means being aware of the latest security threats and taking steps to protect ourselves from them.

I'm going to share some tips on how to improve your cybersecurity, and I'll also tell you about a funny story about my wife falling for a scam. So, it happens to us all, but we can do better.

I encourage you to share this podcast with your friends, family, and colleagues. The more people who are aware of the importance of cybersecurity, the better off we'll all be.
