About this Episode

Joining the conversation today is Dr. Nicole Cabrera Salazar. Nicole is an astrophysicist turned social impact entrepreneur. She is passionate about using her experience and knowledge to drive change in STEM. As a queer, disabled, neurodivergent, first-generation Latina student Nicole knows firsthand the barriers to entry for marginalized communities. She is on a mission to build ‘Un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos’ – a world where many worlds fit.

Bias: Her whiteness as a Latina was pointed out by a brave student and she continues to unpack the implications of that in her life.
