On my journey to recovery from childhood sexual abuse, I searched online for help and support. I found plenty of valuable information, but it didn't seem to be enough. I wanted something that would allow me to escape the heaviness of this topic, but without leaving it. I wanted to feel good, encouraged and even entertained.

I didn’t find much and that’s how METOOWHATNOW began.

I told a friend about my frustration and he suggested that I make videos of my journey and upload them to YouTube. I was terrified of the idea, but I thought it might help in my recovery and maybe it could help someone else. I uploaded my first video to YouTube on April 22, 2018. Some were created to be informative and helpful and others just for fun. METOOWHATNOW means:
MeToo - "I’ve been sexually abused.”
WhatNow – “What can I do today to heal a little bit more?”
