Bob Burnett - Understanding Today’s Economic World

Bob Burnett is a technologist and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in technology related companies.  He spent eleven years at Gateway, Inc. in a variety of management positions including Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President of Products and Executive Vice President of International Markets.  During his tenure at Gateway, he managed a multi-billion-dollar P&L center and led the company’s expansion into areas such as laptop computers, plasma TVs, digital cameras, and MP3 players.

Since leaving Gateway in 2004, Bob has also founded or co-founded over 15 companies, mostly in the technology space.  Among his most recent ventures are two companies focused on cryptocurrency.  The first, Divvy Systems, is a company focused on the design and manufacturing of cryptocurrency mining servers, and also, acts as the US distributor and service provider for Bitfury, one of the largest Bitcoin mining companies.
