Today's episode we're talking about creating new habits and doing too much too fast.

So often we get excited about making changes when we're inspired to do so and we want to dive in head first and go all in. Go big or go home... etc.

The thing here is that if we're stepping too far outside of what our current experience and patterns are we're going to face resistance from our brain and nervous system.

The brain's number one job is survival and what is familiar and predictable seems safe because you already know how to navigate it and what kind of risk to expect.

This does not mean that your current patterns or situations are actually safe or healthy, it just means it's what your systems know how to navigate and how to do it.

So, when we're making changes there is absolutely a sweet spot before we hit too much too soon and our brain says NOPE.

Get in there and give it a listen for more!
