Today we're talking about learned helplessness, that feeling of powerlessness you get when you feel like you're being forced into a situation you might not want... and the power you have to choose to practice your autonomy.

In between the feeling of powerlessness and the realization of choice there might be anger and resentment covering up the root feeling of vulnerability, insecurity, fear, hurt, grief... etc.

Sometimes those secondary defense emotions are more easily accessible and less uncomfortable but they're not helping us get passed the distress of feeling what is underneath it all.

Get in there and give it a listen for more.
