Episode description

Suicide is considered by some to be a shameful, selfish act, but guest Drew Bergman has decided to speak publicly about this issue to decrease stigma and perhaps save lives. Drew, now a marketing and business student at Temple University, suffered from depression since the 7th grade, and began to self harm. Eventually, he attempted suicide twice before bouncing back and finding his footing as a suicide prevention advocate. Joining Lisa and Drew is Dr. Mary Morrison, the Vice Chair for Research in Psychiatry at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple.
