Episode description
Stay in school kids…would've been the worst piece of advice to hear as a noughties teen. But it turns out that with time, the dumb bullshit you endure eventually materialises into some pretty lol anecdotes.
But in all seriousness, finding your feet in an education system that doesn’t cater for all, is pretty damn tough - Brendan and Matthew can vouch for that. In this episode they joke their way through the highs and lows of school, before hearing from two incredibly important people who are working to make schools safer and more inclusive. Alex Holmes, from the Diana Award, offers insight into the work they do to tackle bullying and Chloe Davies, of Diversity Role Models and UK Black Pride, explains the importance of educating students on the spectrum of roles available in the world, just outside the classroom walls.
