Yeah, I feel like it's all falling together, falling in place. It is. It's
a cute space. You You made the choice, which I think was a was a fun choice of we two bedroom, but we made the master bedroom in the office. Yeah, so we have this massive office, massive fucking office, especially because we share it. We've been sharing an office for a little while now, so it made the most sense. So yeah, it's really fun having like a restroom like in the office and the sinc and a huge space for sure. And I mean even the way it's laid out,
we would have had the same furniture. It's not like we would have made more in here being a bedroom, you know what I mean, Like, yeah, I know we're not missing out by having that bedroom to the other room. The other room is the exact same layout in size as our old ones. Kind of made the most sense to me. The bedrooms just where we sleep. It's not like we need like a huge bedroom to sleep in nonn But yeah, it's been really good settling into it. We had a

We live like six minutes from a Cat's Deli, I know. And it was really good. It's very good. It was very
good. Really nervous because it was it was a new location, so it's a little uppit Ea, the like modernized. It looks kind of like it looks like a restaurant, yeah, or as opposed to like a New York deli. Sure, but but no, it's still very good. Yeah, it was very yummy. What do you get? I got a rub and I got a pastrami rub and that's like, that's what you get when you go to cats and did a hold up. It was very good. It was very good. I got that and I got some latkas. Latkas were
really good. I'm excited to go back and try their kindishes. Uh huh. I'm excited to go back and get their breakfast. I haven't. I didn't get any breakfast, and they do twenty four hour breakfast and they had all their drinks and stuff. Looks so good. I got a strawberry lemonade that was yummy as hell. It was kind of sweet, but it was really good. Yeah mm hmm. So yeah, we're just that here doing our best, real just doing our best. We still haven't gone to Housepies.
We still have not gone to House of Pies, and we need to. We need to prep that for like an edible night, like a good one, but we need some better adibles. So it's our season finale. He's a finale, and I think I wanted to kind of really open up, give a peek behind the curtains. We talked about this, and I think we just need to be like open and honest about it. When are we not transparent with all of our fine folks. Yeah, I think this season was probably one of our weaker seasons. Yeah. I think I do think we both kind of let this show get
on the back burner. I think there was a lot going on. This has been the last the last fifteen weeks, Yeah, has been the most stressful, intense fifteen weeks in a very long time. For Yes, we you know, I my work was intense. Planning certain events was very intensive. We had a trip to Ireland that was like pre planned that ended up landing in the middle of an event for me and then in the middle of us move Yeah. Holy cow. Yeah, the last fifteen weeks has been
a roller coaster. Yeah. And I mean at the end of the day, like as much as I think we'd love for this show to get to a point where it is like financially helping us a lot, it's just not right. So I mean, yeah, it definitely doesn't pay a bill. Yeah, so it's going to in these kind of stressful moments, it's going to be put on the back burn and compared to things that will actually contribute to contribute financially to us. So I do think we let this show and
I mean, this is this episode included. There's a lot of episodes of us being like shit at Sunday. Yeah, and we got an episode tomorrow. So you know, first of all, I apologize Cinera fans that, like, I think we can acknowledge you and I both can acknowledge that this was not like the best season. And I think we also kind of had a like idea of what this season was going to be and it just ended up not it was. This season was supposed to be as prioritizing our sex
life. Yeah, and we didn't do that. We did it, Yeah, it just wasn't It just wasn't in the works. It just it was too tough. And we do prioritize each other. And ironically, for us having a sex podcast, I think our preferred intimacy is ironically not sex. Yeah, I think that, I think yours is. I think I know you enjoy physical touch, but like I think you and I are trying to prioritize like quality time and other aspects of our relationships so we can make sure
we're emotionally connecting and things like that. Yeah, And and that's a big part of why physicalness wasn't necessarily prioritized, you know, on top of all the things we have going on in our lives. Yeah, and I think it just as Yeah, I think that's a big part of it is we had this idea that this season is going to be as prioritizing as sex, like don't even have anal and talking about it. We didn't even have anal and now was supposed to be like a big moment of this season, and
it just didn't. It just didn't work out. And so I think we you and I talked a little bit about this. I think kind of between these seasons we are going to really kind of go back to the drawing board and kind of figure out exactly what maybe this next season of the show looks like, maybe if the structure changes at all, like how that changes without you know, we've thrown some ideas back and forth between you and without saying
anything. We're going to like really kind of nail down what is the best structure of this show. Talk about bad timing. Literally in the middle of us recording this episode, we get a phone call to like we need to go pick up my phone and we have somewhere to be to go watch a Super Bowl with your friend and stuff. So we had to take a what nine hour break in between recording this episode. So the second half is post super Bowl pose super Bowl where Usher impregnated me through the screen. What a
show, What a lovely show. But to leave off, we were talking about what we think next season is gonna look like, how we're gonna restructure, potentially restructure things. Sorry, I have a little bit of a list my retainers in I've already done my skincare regimen, I brushed my tooth, My retainers are ready for bed mm hmm. But yeah, I'm excited to see where that is. I already know that. You and I talked about using our break more wisely to kind of record during the break as things happen
and really plan things out more nitty gritty. You know, we're settled into our new place. Things with work are starting to become more like concrete. Our schedule is going to be the most consistent that it's been for a little while. Yeah, So it's going to be nice to regroup and refocus on us for one, which is really important because you know, we're not out here as banging it out for the content. Yeah, so it'll be nice.
I'm hoping we can get the video content. Yeah, we've talked about looking into that of trying to do like a video version of this, which is hard, y'all, that's just expensive. Yeah, now's we've we've looked at some options and talked about some different options of like how to do it as quality as we can and as inexpensive as we can. Yeah, and no, whether that happens next season, the season after that, you know, I just think as long as we're being consistent, which we are,
I think that's what's important. It's been a wild ride the last what March April or no, I think it was like May was the start of season two? Correct? So have we already surpassed that May? What do you mean? Are we are about to be on two years of just you and I? Maybe I gotta look back at the date. But there's a lot of things we want to do and I'm excited to figure out a process that
works the best. I had a reason talking about the two years, but I forgot was Oh, that's what it was was the past two years of podcasting. It's wild seeing so many shows come and go, and I really don't want that for us. As stressful as life can be and figuring things out. You know, we've already established, you know, a little audience.
It's a good sized audience. I'm proud of our audience. Yeah, And you know, we have a lot of interaction and we've gotten plenty of emails about how being open about sex conversations makes an impact on their lives, and we're not interested in stopping that for any reason. So I just think as long as we're being consistent, whether we find that the quality is weaker or not, I still think it's really important. Sure, because it is.
It's really sad. I've seen some shows that have like really great followings and people really love it and they're just like life happens, and they're not wrong. Life is really difficult. In comparison, we've got it pretty easy. A lot of these people have kids, yeah, and and things like that, and you know, we've really crafted our life to be as flexible
as possible so we can be as creative as possible. So I'm excited to tap into it and figure out what our new normal is so we can continue in a consistent manner, but making sure it's quality and we're trying new things and reading about new things. You know, what I love about us is that we're always learning with our audiences, and we're approachable, and we're not here to be educators. We're here to work on ourselves and hopefully inspire others
to work on themselves as well. When it comes to sex. Yeah, I mean, I think we both think of this as like a group group project, you me and the listeners. Yeah, so yeah, I'd love to kind of dive more into that aspect of it. I would also like, you know, next season, we'll definitely prioritize listening to some of the voicemails because we definitely have fallen off of that and people are leaving them. People leave us voicemails and we listen and please continue leaving us anonymous voicemails of
you know, your experiences, learning experiences. You know, whether you think they're embarrassing, they're empowering to other people so they feel less alone or less silly about things happening. And you know, those voicemails are really import into us. And keep writing us emails as well. We do get plenty of emails for some reason, we just don't prioritize reading them. Yeah. Usually there's the emails are mixed with like you guys are great, we love you,
and also but they couple it with like eight paragraphs is suggestions. Sure, and there's no such thing as a bad idea, but there are ideas that we're just not going to do, like for when we're not a movie podcast. So like someone wrote us a long email saying now they enjoyed listening to us, you know, really kind accolades, and then it was like like paragraphs of like movies we should review, and da da da da.
And I appreciate that. I know we did that with the three sixty five series, but we mainly did that because it was so interesting that something so intensely almost you know, smutty was on Netflix and that was the reason behind it. And I think that's kind of what I mean about, like maybe a more structured show and kind of I'm excited to look into that. I would also love, like, you know, you you put this out to the listeners of give
us suggestions of things to try in the bedroom and with each other. But I would say, give us also ideas if there's something you would like to see on this show, see like whatever it is, if you would like, hey, I would love for y'all to like do this on the show or try this on the show, or this kind of thing. Yeah, but don't be fucking weird. Yeah. I had someone that was like, maybe you should play with different vibrators on the show, and so I was like, yeah, no, I get that right, Yeah, so be

attracted to balloon animals? Like? Oh yeah, No, there's there's so many segments and nuances that we got to dive into, which just takes more time in research. Yes, but we have the time now, Like we're gonna make the time and have that commitment to do as much research as we can ahead of time. Yeah. Yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited to learn more more about what people enjoy because I wouldn't I don't know. I
don't think I want you to chain smoke in front in my face. But I feel like there's other things that we could do or try and figure out. Yeah, there's a whole world out there. I have to imagine a lot of these communities would have to be pretty self aware to understand, like, especially some of the more niche ones that like, I'm sure people who are rent to balloons have to be self aware enough to know, like, this isn't an everybody thing, right, m oh, a lot of those. yeah, No, it goes deep. It goes deep when it comes to like foreign objects that can, like the foreign object community runs pretty deep. It does. Anything is sexy if you want it to be. It flew by so very quickly and so fast, and we thought we had this structure down. Our main priority was not having guests, and we really ran with that, and we're like, we're just gonna try something new every week, and that was at that was a challenge. So yeah,
I appreciated our bigger for that. I think we overestimated or underestimated maybe how much prep ironically, how much more prep would need to go into the show with zero guests so much. So Yeah, I mean guests can be a crutch sometimes because you're just like, well, I'll just get to know this person. Yeah, I'm just gonna let this person talk. I like, for us, we would write down a handful of questions beforehand and then like go in and like let them, you know, we would kind of
rains, but they would be the horse leading the conversation. Yeah, and without guests, you you really you can't. Just what I think we learned this season is you can't just turn on the mic and start chatting. No, we gotta have a plan. Yeah, plans are important. Thanks for riding this season out with us.
