C's Hold Pistons To 13pts In 4th!!! Big Win

The Pistons made this tough once again but the Celtics pulled off an incredible 4th quarter to come out with a 114-103 win. The Celtics held the Pistons to just 13 points in the 4th quarter and the 1st field goal they hit came from Saddiq Bey with just 30 seconds left in the game. Yes, you read that correct. The first field goal made for the Pistons was with 30 seconds left. This was a fantastic 4th quarter performance where everyone contributed on both sides of the ball. Jayson Tatum played another excellent game and continues to push himself to a superstar level. 

Marcus Smart came up huge today with 20pts 3reb 5ast as well as 5 steals but we also saw some really solid performances from the bench. Derrick White had a great game but the one that impressed me the most was actually Payton Pritchard. This isn't a crazy stat sheet game for Pritchard at all but he was making all the right plays in the 4th quarter. He had 4pts 2reb and 1stl BUT had back to back possessions where he had a steal or got a loose ball that led to transition buckets. He was making all of the hustle plays and defending at a high level which was good to see. The Celtics are now in a virtual tie, both 4 games back, with the Bulls and are only .5 GB of the 76ers for the 3 seed and 1.5GB of Milwaukee for the 2 seed.
