Episode description

We understand clearly today that consuming too much sugar can lead to tooth decay and create cavities, but it wasn't always so obvious in modern history. In the 1940s, patients of Vipeholm Hospital in Lund, Sweden were subject to human experimentation (funded by the confectionary industry) to learn about the effects of sugar on teeth. Join Matt and Carolanne this week to talk about the unethical Vipeholm Experiments.
