Episode description

Electric cars are the future, there’s no denying that. Consumers are not just open to electric vehicles, they’re embracing them, and companies are starting to adapt to market demand. General Motors first launched its EV1 electric car in 1996 and the response from the public was overwhelmingly positive. Waitlists included thousands of people hoping to lease their car. Despite the success, people were shocked when GM announced the cancellation of the program citing lack of interest and profitability. Did GM's cancellation purely come for these reasons? Or were there ulterior motives at play?

Join Matt and Carolanne this week as they dive into the GM electric car conspiracy.
