I am your host, doctor Eric Kaplan. I hope everybody is doing great. Today. We're going to talk about natural, holistic, and integrative ways to improve the function of your brain and body without

any harmful medications or surgeries. The power that made the body heals the body, so we just want to unleash the body's potential to heal on its own. We have all these amazing ways to get rid of the toxins that we're exposed to. And believe me, there are lots of toxins. There's chemicals in the air. There's chemicals in the water. There's chemicals the food. There's chemicals in the chemicals. There's chemicals in the cleaning stuff. There's chemicals

in the makeup. There's chemicals and the lotions and the soaps and the shampoos and the toothpaste and the deodorants. They're everywhere, all right. So what you gotta do is make sure you avoid the stuff that's possible. You gotta get the cleanest stuff. You might have to pay a little bit extra, but money means nothing if you don't have your health. Your health is the

most important thing. So you only get one body, you've got to make sure you treat it like a temple and you don't put anything bad in it. You get rid of the bad stuff that is involuntary, but don't voluntarily get put bad stuff inside your body. Right, So we're gonna go over lots of natural ways to improve of your brain and bodies function. Now, what are the most common health problems? All right, well, let's go over the most common. The cause of death is heart cancer number two.

Iatrogenic is actually number three. That's caused by the doctor, mostly through medication. That's literally the number third leading cause of death, and that's what they admit, that's what they prove to be caused by medication. So it's probably actually a little bit higher. But heart disease and cancer they've always been the top two for a long time. The most prescribed drugs are statins, you know, for cholesterol. Lipotoris are always number one. Heart disease, high

blood pressure medication that's always up there. Diabetes foreman, that's always up there. There's always the top medications. Right, it's cholesterol, it's heart disease or high blood pressure. All right, it's diabetes. Also is the thyroid. Most people don't talk about that too much. Thyroid doesn't get a lot of publicity, but it's definitely one of the most top prescribed drugs. Most people are hypo thyroid. The problem is when we're dealing with the thyroid,

no one really does good thorough blood work. So to do good thorough blood work, you have to see a doctor that practices functional medicine. We do that at Caplin Brain and Body in both of our office is one in New Jersey in Emerson, New Jersey, Bergen County, and the second office is in Manhattan in the West Village Office six Bleiker And we practice functional medicine at those offices. And what functional medicine. The approach to the thyroid is very

different. You have to do a lot of tests, so you gotta look at your not just your H that's thyroid stimulating hormone. Most doctors all they do is look at TSH thyroid stimulating hormone. If the TSH is high, which is typical, that means you have hypo thyroidism. If the TSH is low, that means you have hyper thyroidism, right, So it's the opposite. The reason it's opposite is because if your thyroid is underactive, which is

a hypo thyroid, which is what most people have in America. Right, So if your thyroid is underactive, then the brain says, I need more thyroid and it's going to activate t SH, which is thyroid stimulating hormone. So the thyroid stimulating hormone is going to be high because we need it high because the thyroid is low. So it's the opposite, got it, all right? So what are they gonna do? They're going to prescribe you with

medication. Now what does a functional medicine doctor do, not just a typical endocrinologist, which is usually who people with thyroid problems going to say. If you see a functional doctor like at Caplinbrain and Body, We're going to look at all the thyroid tests T four, T three free, T three free, T four you know, TPI, TPO, different antibodies, all right, you got to look at the different antibodies. There's different autoimmune diseases that

are the normal cause of thyroid problems. But if you don't test for autoimmune disease, you're not gonna know that's the cause of your hypo thyroidism. And if you don't know what the cause is, then you can't come up with the proper remedy because there's all different types of treatments for the thyroid. It's not just tree with medicine. That should be the last resort. Always try

it naturally first, Right now, what's the natural way? Well, if we look at the functional medicine scales, for example TSH, most labs, whether it's a lab corp or quest or bioreference or whatever it is, most of these labs are going to have a range, a normal range of the ts H to be maybe point two point three to about four point five four point six something like that. That's a typical range for the TSH and that's usually the one test that they do. So a functional medicine scale is different.

So our scale is one point eight to three, and what that means is if your number is four point zero, most endrocinologists are going to say that's normal, but we're going to say, nope, that's too high. That means the thyroid's underactive. If the scale is one point zero, they're going to say it's normal. We're gonna say, no, that number is too low. That's a high birth thyroid and it could be from overuse of the medicine. So if you're taking medicine, you've got to monitor to make

sure you don't get put into hyph birth thyroid. You see it all the time. Well, it's very important to monitor your numbers, and you do it on not the normal scale, which that the labs say, but on a healthy scale. Rights, if you have blood work at home, take a look right now, is it one point eight to three or is your TSH high? Is it low or is it within their normal range. We don't want the normal range. We don't want the point three to the four

point six. We want the healthy range, which is a one point eight to three that's for thyroid. So sometimes you know, you have to see is it underactive? Is it overactive? It's the medicine that you're taking overactive. Do you want to prevent using medicine? If you want to prevent using medicine, you got to do a full panel like we were just talking about. That way you could diagnose it properly and you could say, okay, is it a primary thyroid problem. Is it a secondary thyroid problem? All

right? You could say, is it an autoimmune thyroid problem. If it's underactive autoimmune, that's called a Hashimoto's thyroid diet. That's the most common. We see tons of patients with Hashimoto's thyroid dietis and it's not to fix it with medicine. The way to fix it is through nutrition, So you've got to go on an autoimmune diet. Now, if it is a secondary thyroid condition, that would mean it's coming from your pituitary gland. Your pituitary leads

into the thyroid. And we see a lot of people with this at our office too. They have what's called a disautonomia. Their autonomic nervous system isn't functioning properly, and you're stuck in this fight or flight mode rather than the relaxed rest and digest state. Right When we have a problem with that, that's going to cause a pituitary adrenal problem. It's called your HPA access. I'm getting pretty technical today, but if you can follow me, we're doing

pretty good. But it has to do with your pituitary gland. So it's a brain issue. We're gonna fix the brain. We're gonna relax the brain to get you out of stress mode. And if you get out of the stress mode, then the thyroid is going to function better. The adrenals are going to calm down, the pituitary is going to function normally. The thyroid's not going to be abnormal function. It's all about improving function, improving signals.

Now, if you have a primary thyroid problem, there's also natural herbs you can take, so sometimes you could do some herbal stuff. The best herbs that I like comes from Apex Energetics. But it's always about getting to the root cause. So the most medicine, right we said, is cholesterol, high blood pressure, thyroid, diabetes, acid

reflects. These are the most prescribed medicine. So we're gonna go over in natural ways to prevent all those medicines where you won't need them, where you don't need to see doctors, you don't need to take medicine, but you got to do it in a natural way. So if you're already on the medicine. It's not something you could just stop. That's very dangerous. So when you stop medicine, you have to work with your doctors and make sure

you do it in a safe way. Okay, But what we do in our office is get people super healthy, so healthy that the medicine works too much and then they don't need to take it. Right. So, if you improve your heart function but you're taking high blood pressure medication, then your blood pressure is going to go too low. If you improve your diet and your sedentary lifestyle and you're taking diabetes medication, it's going to bring your levels

too low. So when you get healthy, sometimes you have to monitor your blood work to make sure you safely reduce the medication. Right. You always work with your medical director for that. Never stop medicine on your own, okay, But there are ways to do it in a healthy way. So a lot of patients come to us because they want to do it in a natural, healthy way, right. So that's why we practice functional medicine and

functional neurology. Functional neurology is where we analyze the different areas of the brain and the nervous system and find any areas of dysfunction and then give you neurologic exercises to improve that area. It's called neuroplasticity. You could rewire the brain, just like you could go to the gym and exercise your muscles. You can exercise it is your brain. And if you exercise your brain, you can affect your pituitary and adrenal gland, which can affect your thyroid And if

thyroid and high blood pressure. Just to summarize the thyroid first before we move on to the blood pressure. So we have to analyze the thyroid through blood work and brain function to figure out. If there's an autoimmune thyroid and underactive autoimmune, it's called hashimotos. If it's a hyper thyroid autoimmune, it's called Graves disease. If it's Graves or hashimotos, we fix that through nutrition.

If it is a primary hypo or hypo thyroid, there are ways to fix that herbally naturally through stuff from the earth as opposed to the medicine and the chemicals built in the labs. So try it naturally first, and then if that doesn't work, then you can always go for the medicine. And then the third one is influenced by your brain, your pituitary or adrenal gland, your hypothalmus, So for that you might need to rewire your brain. It's

called neuroplasticity. You also might need to increase vitamin D levels to increased function of the thyroid. Vitamin D is actually a hormone, it's not a vitamin, but it definitely greatly influences thyroid function. Most people are vitamin D deficient. We get that from the sun, So start going out in the sun. The sun is not your enemy. You know, a lot of doctors tell you to stay away from the sun. I'm telling you to go out in the sun. You know, unless you have a really bad history of

skin cancer. The sun actually prevents cancer, prevents Alzheimer's, improve thyroid function, proves heart function, immune system. You know, you've got to go out in the sun. Super important, and if you need to, you

That's what those are three types of thyroid problems. Blood pressure, right, it's either high blood pressure, it's low blood pressure. And what most

doctors don't do is check left and right blood pressure. Do you have to check both sides? You can't just check one side. What if they check your left arm and your blood pressure is normal one twenty over eighty, but they never check the right arm and the right arm is always like one forty over nine ninety, That's going to be a problem. You could have big differences in blood pressure from your left side to your right side. As a

functional neurologist, we always want to check both sides. You know, when I check your oxygen levels, we want to check both sides. Right. How Come when we check your muscle strength, we check both sides, but when they check your blood pressure they only check one side. How doesn't make any sense. You know, the eye doctor looks in both eyes, the ear doctor looks in both ears. How come the cardiologist doesn't take blood pressure

on both sides. It's very important to check the balance of left and right. I'd rather have two high blood pressure than one low blood pressure and one high blood pressure. The imbalance can be worse. And if you're checking it at home with those blood pressure cuffs, which in my opinion aren't very accurate. But if you are, check both sides, and you might even want

to check from lying to sitting. You know, you can find out a lot of different things with your blood pressure, but you gotta check for imbalances from left to right. Now. He said, that's one of the most prescribed drugs. People have high blood pressure. Why do they have high blood pressure? Biggest cause is stress. You know, the most common time for a heart attack or stroke is Monday morning. People are in stress mode.

They were relaxed over the weekend, but then they got stressed out because now they go back to reality. Right, a lot of people going back to school. I had a long weekend after Labor Day, going back to work. You know, it's been a tough week for a lot of people.

Right. Well, maybe some people are more relaxed because now the kids are out of the house, but whatever it is, Monday morning is always a very stressful time, all right, And the more stress you have, the higher your blood pressure is going to be So what about we change our way of thinking. This is what we call a paradigm shift. Instead of taking medicine to treat your high blood pressure, what about you get to the root cause of your high blood pressure, and you fix the root cause of your

high blood pressure, then your blood pressure goes down naturally. Then you don't have to be on high blood pressure medication. Understand, Just like you could change your diet and reverse autoimmune thyroid disease such as hashimotos in graves, if you reduce your stress levels, you can bring down your blood pressure naturally. In addition to exercise physical exercise, in addition to eating healthier, in addition to drinking more water, in addition to going to bed earlier, in addition

to reducing inflammation. So I'm not saying it's an easy thing to do to reduce your blood pressure, but if you do all the appropriate things, and you take those measures necessary to rewire your brain and get you out of stress mode, your blood pressure can actually go down. Now, what are some of the things you could do right now naturally? Right most people know about meditation, I practice the relax technique. I do just the thirty seconds every

morning thirty second meditation. Everybody has thirty seconds, and you say relax for thirty times. Relax, relax, and each second I relax a different muscle group. I relax the muscles. I start on the top of my head, relax those muscles. Then I go to my forehead relax. Then I go to my temples relax, and my eyebrows relax, and my eyes relax. Then my jaw relax, and my cheeks relaxed, and my mouth relax. So I picked thirty spots and just relax each muscle group. Relax.

The neck relax, the shoulders relax, the chest relax, the hips, the knees, the feet, the toes. So I just think thirty points and it relax every area. And it's a thirty second meditation that's very good to get the brain at a stress mode. And then when you get good at thirty seconds and you bump it up to a minute, then you go up to two minutes. But just start doing thirty seconds. Everyone can do thirty seconds, all right. Another way to relax is to activate what's called

your vaguest nerve. Your vaguest nerve helps to get you out of at what we call the fight or flight mode, that stress mode. When you have increased cortisol, you can't sleep, You're always worrying, you even have some anger and aggression. Your mind's raising, you know, you're always thinking of what's going on, what's the next thing, what's going to happen, what do we do if this happens. To worry, the brain stresses out.

Sometimes you even get anxiety, and sometimes there's even a little panic. It's just worry. I'm going to stop worrying. That creates too much stress, that increases the blood pressure. So one way to stop the worrying, stop the stress, the anxiety, the panic is to gargle really intensely. Just take some water and you guard off really loud up to the ceiling. Another good way splash your face with cold water. And another good exercise to stimulate

the vegas nerve. It's called the gag reflex, when you just take your tongue to pressor or your toothbrush and hit the back of your palette, not to the point where you throw up, but just elicit a gag that unless you have a history of bulimia, don't do that. But for the gag reflex that's been proven through neuroscience to stimulate the vegus nerve. You could also swallow, just like a big swallow, get a bunch of saliva on your tongue and do a big swallow. That all helps out with stress. Singing

really loud, humming, you know, stimulate that throat. It's very good for the vagus nerve. That helps to reduce stress, get you out of that fight or flight mode, bring down that blood pressure. Then we work in actual ways so you don't have to take medicine as you get older.

If it's autoimmune disease, you could

do it through herbal remedies. If it's a primary issue, you could do it through neuroplasticity and rewiring your brain. If it's a secondary problem, then we spoke about how to bring down blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure, you got to meditate through the relaxed technique. Got to stimulate that bagest nerve got to exercise burn that energy every day. You gotta exercise in the Morning's the best time to exercise. So where your corsol levels highest,

where your testosterone's highest. Exercise every single morning, and that makes sure you go to bed early. It's very good for your blood pressure. You gotta go to bed early. You can't be up watching the news, watching TV, scrolling on Facebook. I'm gonna YouTube, playing on the internet on your iPhone. Gotta stop. Those electronics are no good. They increase cortisol at

night. It's going to increase your blood pressure. You gotta put those electronics away, right, said you gotta get good vitamin D. So you also want to go outside during sunset, see the sun go down. And then when you come home, turn off all the lights, all the electronics,

keep everything nice and dim. Just read a book, listen to some music, listen to a podcast, have some conversations, play a board game, play some cars, take the dog for a walk, do something, draw, write a novel, you know anything, do something artistic, do something musical. Anything besides using electronics at night. The electronics should be used during the day. And we got to unplug. We gotta shut it off,

right, it's going to bring down your blood pressure. Now, what else is prescribed a lot besides thyroid medication, high blood pressure medication, we're looking at diabetes medication metforming and now they're prescribing the diabetes medication for weight loss.

You know, America is pretty much the fattest country in the world, and people, you know, have all these things for weight loss and bands and surgeries, and you know, staples and different diet pills and appetite suppressants, and you know, we have brain diseases, bolimia and anorexia and body dimorphism, and you know there's so much you know, bad with the advertising and

marketing and what's appropriate and what's not appropriate. And you know, sometimes you know it goes the other way too, you know, and say, okay, the models are too skinny, But then we don't want to also be too fat either. You know, we just want to be our natural weight. We don't want to under eat, but we don't want to overeat. And you always want to basically, only eat when you're hungry, and you

gotta feel your body. You gotta be cognizant, and you gotta say, like, in the middle of a meal, you think to yourself, hey, am I still hungry? And if you're still hungry, okay, you can continue to eat. But if you really think about it and saying, you know what, I'm actually not hungry anymore, you don't finish the meal all right, so save it for later, and maybe an hour or too later you get hungry again. Then try it again, but maybe it won't

be you listen to your body. Only eat when you're hungry you want to lose weight. That's the simplest rule to follow is only eat when you're hungry, stop eating when you're not hungry. And the way to not be hungry so much is to eat each color of the rainbow. That way you're getting all your nutrients. If you eat each color, you get all your bidamins, minerals, nutrients. Right, if we get everything we need, then you're not gonna be hungry. That's what You can eat a whole bag of

potato chips or whole basket of bread. There's no nutritional value in that. But what you have to do is eat each color of the rainbow. Then your brain won't even want food because you have all the nutrients that you need and won't desire the sugar, won't desire the bad foods. But you gotta eat each color of the rainbow every single day, hopefully every single meal.

All right, that's gonna be very important when diabetes. Eat all the colors and stay away from the white foods, all the white foods, the sugar, the bread, the flour, the noodles, the potatoes, the rice, the milk, the cream. Stay away from all the white foods and eat all the colorful foods. You don't want diabetes. You want to take that foreman, You don't want to be obese, overweight. You eat all the colorful foods. You stay away from all the white foods. Eat color,

all right, eat color, lots of color every single meal. And then you gotta get away from that sedentary lifestyle. You know what is the typical diabetes patient to Every day? They work at the computer, and they come home and they eat dinner, and they sit on the couch and they watch TV, play under phone, go to bed, wake up, coffee, work, home, dinner, sit on the couch, go to sleep, home, Sit in the car driving to work, Sit in the car home from work, Sit at the computer at work, sit at the dinner

table, eating a big dinner, sit on the couch watching TV. It's sedentary lifestyle. We gotta get off our butts. You gotta get outside. You gotta be social, you gotta be in nature. You gotta move your body. You never want to sit for more than twenty minutes. Every twenty minutes, you get up, You walk twenty feet, you look twenty feet,

or whatever it is. You get up every twenty minute to twenty jumping jacks, do twenty push ups, do twenty sit ups, do twenty lunges, do twenty squats, take twenty steps, do twenty meditation, do twenty sitting to standing. Just do twenty seconds or something every twenty minutes. It'll change your life. Not only reverse diabetes and heart disease, but just boost your energy, boost your brain power, your focus, your productivity. The

twenty rule. You gotta get up every twenty minutes. You know I can remember, so you gotta set an alarm, all right, that's the twenty rule. So for diabetes, we're eating a lot of colorful foods we're staying away from. Now. That's diabetes type two. If you have diabetes type one, that's different. That's autoimmune disease. That's like the thyroid. That's like with Graves and Hashimotos. Diabetes type one is the same solution, which

is avoid the autoimmune diseases, the autoimmune foods. The autoimmune foods. The big ones are dairy, gluten, corn, soy, coffee, alcohol, Those are the big ones. Those are the big autoimmune foods that you got to stay away from. If you're worried about diabetes type one, if you're worried about Hashimoto's graves silliac disease, rheumatoid authoritis, psoriasis, fibromyalgia, multiple

sclerosis, show grins, lupus. Those are all autoimmune disease. So I'm gonna stay away if you have any of those conditions, and you'll really know that if you tested antibodies for those. But if you have any of those, if you tested those antibodies in blood work. You have to avoid dairy, gluten, corn, soy, coffee, alcohol, right, and then follow the diabetes pattern, which is eating each color of the rainbow and avoiding

all the white foods as well. You got it. That's for diabetes type one, diabetes type two, the most common medication I was for diabetes type two, that's the met forming the insulin. Diabetes type one, yes, but not as much all right, So those are natural ways to reduce your chances of getting diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid. Another big prescription is the nexium, the acid reflux medications. Right, So a lot of people get gird acid reflux in digestion, stomach problems, ibs,

chrones, ulcerative colitis, CBO. They have all these intestinal problems and they're giving and acids. However, that acid is very good for you. That acid kills off the bad bacteria. That acid helps you to absorb food. That acid is very important. So when you take medication to reduce the stomach acid, that puts you at risk for infections. That puts you at risk for viral infections, for back sterial infections, It puts you at risk for

mold exposure, puts you at risk for parasites. That acid is protecting you, But you got to figure out what's the root cause. Remember, so instead of giving you medicine to get rid of the acid reflects symptoms which are called ant ascids. Let's figure out why are you getting those symptoms. Why is everything backed up and pushing back the other way, Why are your systems not working, Why are you bloated? Why aren't you digesting and absorbing properly.

You've got to get to the root cause. And maybe you have autoimmune disease that's silliac. Then you have to do that whole list of foods. Maybe you have a vegas nerve problem that's the rest and digest So a lot of people with insomnia or digestive problems have an issue in their veagest nerve then you would have to do those vegas nerve exercise. This right, Maybe it's a problem in your bacteria. Maybe you've taken a lot of antibiotics and you

have low bacteria, so you have to take probiotics. And the key with probiotics is to change it up. You don't want to keep taking the same probiotics over and over. You want different bacteria, different strains. They all have different jobs that they have to do and different activities that need to be performed. So every two months you switch your probiotics. So probiotics are very important in these days. Probably the two most important supplements are vitamin dum probiotics.

But getting back to the stomach acid, right, So when you take an ascids, now you're decreasing stomach acid. That makes you more susceptible. So we've got to get to the root cause, fix the symptoms, and then probably have to actually supplement with hydrochloric acid with some bile to neutralize the ass You've got to do it in the right way with some enzymes. Maybe

you don't have proper enzymes. Maybe you're not food combining properly, maybe you're not doing intermittent fasting, which is eating only eight hours in the day from ten am to six pm. We want to eat during the daylight hours. We eat for energy, So when you're doing activities during the daytime, that's when you want to eat ten am to six pm. After six pm, we don't want to eat. We want our bodies to chill out. After we come home from sunset, we want to turn off the lights. We

don't want electronics. We don't want to eat. We want to relax. We want to calm everything down. Okay, that's key for that vagus nerve, and that's going to help with our digestive process as well with the intermittent fasting, because it gives us sixteen hours to break down all the foods. So there's lots of different reasons for digestive problems, but we always got kidd get to the root cause of the problem. And we're going to continue this

conversation when we come back from the break. We're talking about natural ways to improve your brain and body function, to either prevent taking medicine or to actually get your body healthy so that you can reduce taking the amount of medication you're so the good news is that it's never too late, but you just got to work for it. So think of me like a physical therapist, but for the brain and the nervous system. And I also find as functional medicine where we look at patterns in your blood work and see how your organs are working. Look at how their stomach acid is, Look how your liver's working. See if you have inflammation. If you have low stomach acid, low

bacteria, inflammation, we could see that in blood work. Then you're gonna

have what's going to leaky gut. And when you have a leaky gut, then you're gonna have the bacteria are going to escape your intestinal tract, your viruses and worms and mold and yeast, and then they're going to get into the blood stream and then attack other organs, maybe attack your brain, maybe attack your thyroid, maybe attack your heart or your lungs, or your liver, or your kidneys, or your adrenal gland, or your ovaries or your

testes or your prostate. Because once they're in the blood stream, they can go everywhere. So that's why your gut is your first defense with your immune system. That's why it's so important to have good stomach acid and good bacteria and good enzymes. Most people are deficient in acid, and they're deficient in

bacteria, and they don't release the enzymes when it's appropriate. You can't just take digestive enzymes that won't do it, because you have to know when to release the enzymes, because proteins have certain enzymes, and carbohydrates have other enzymes, and fruit have their own enzymes. And you know, the saliva has their enzymes, and you know, the intestinal track is theirs and the gut has theirs. So there's all these different types of enzymes and they need to

be released at the appropriate time. So it's not just taking enzymes that won't do it. And the bacteria. We said, you can't just take one bacteria. There's different bacteria. You gotta keep changing it up every two months. Take different bacteria. And the acid. Most people are taking an acid, they're decreasing their ascid. They're taking tums and roll aids and prescriptions, and oh my god, they're causing their own problems by taking these medications.

We need more stomach acid. We just lead less backup. We need more bacteria. We just need more good bacteria and less bad bacteria. We need a proper balance. That way, that's how you stabilize your gut. And with a leaky gut, there's four phases that have to be accomplished. The first phase is reducing inflammation. To reduce inflammation, the best ways are through with vera tral tumeric. Got to make sure your vitamin D levels are good,

the bacteria are good. You got to go in an anti inflammatory diet. You got to bring down all the inflammatory foods. The second phase is plugging in the holes of the leaky gut. We do that with glutamine. It's like a shake that we could take, but you can't do that until you reduce the inflammation. You got to reduce the inflammation first that step one. Step two is plugging the league you up. Then step three is to

destroy all the bad stuff. I call it the atomic bomb. So it's this packet of pills that we you know, suggest for the patients and it helps to kill off the viruses, the bacteria, the yeast, of parasites, but in just with natural herbs, so nothing that's going to cause any side effects or no risks. That's the third phase, the atomic bomb, kill off all the bad stuff. Now the fourth phase, that's the cleanse. Now that you've killed off all the bad stuff, now that you've contained

it with the league, you guy, you've brought down your inflammation. You've done those first three phases. Now it's time to cleanse. You'll flush everything out. We clear it out, and we do that through this little shake, and then we cleanse the liver tip. A lot of people do this, try and flush everything out and do a liver cleanse first. Now you gotta kill off all the bad stuff first. Then you flush it out, then you eliminate it. Then you cleanse it out. Now your body can

heal. That's the four stage. It's for leaky gut. So if you have ulcerative colitis, you got league you gut, you have IBS, you got leaky gut, you got silliac, you have a leaky gut. You know you got Crohn's disease, you got leaky gut, you got sebo, you got league you gut. Leaky gut isn't like a real diagnosis. It just means basically, your guts inflamed. And when you have those conditions,

that means you have inflammation. It's like colitis, you know, that's that means inflammation, right, anytime you have itis, itis means inflammation, right, So you have to reduce that inflammation, super important. Right, that's the four stages, and then you might have to replenish with the stomach acid. It's very important. So you get to the root cause of the gut problems, then you can get off the acid reflux medication. But you got to eat healthy. That's important. You know, you got to do the

work if you want to get the results. But you know, how do you know what the root cause is? How do you know what your thyroid cause? How do you know if you have the intestinal inflammation? How do you know if you're in stress mode? Well, there's one test that can actually check for all of that. It's called a q EEG brain mapping. It literally will pick up, Hey, is there a thyroid problem? Is there intestinal inflammation? Are you worrying too much? Are you in stress mode?

Do you have anxiety? Do you have anger? Do you have aggression to your problems with depression? Do you have anxiety? Do you have insomnia? Do you have troubles with memory? Do you have heavy metal poisoning, you have a concussion. Do you have a virus pathology that's attacking your brain. Do you have white matter inflammation in your brain? Do you have difficulty shifting tests? Do you have troubles with focus, motivation, organization, blaming?

Do you have sensory problems? You have balance problems, eyes ears? Do you have issues with coordination? You know, it literally breaks down everything for you, and it doesn't without any radiation. You don't have to sit in a small tube. You don't have to take any contrast fluid. It's not like an MRI or cat scan. You just sit in a chair. You wear this cap. It looks like a swimmer's cap, but it's got electrodes that are attached to all these different areas. You're the brain and control

these parts of your brain and body's function. So it analyze your brain waves. It can literally say what areas are functioning very well and what areas are not functioning well. If it's not, we don't fix it. So we want to find mostly areas that are functioning well when we leave those alone. But when we do this test, and it tells us what areas are not

functioning well. Now we could come up with natural, holistic, and integrative solutions to remedy those situations so they don't develop into major health problems where you need to take lots of medicines and see lots of doctors and do lots of surgeries. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. So believe me, take advantage of this test because it is very informative and it's good

to do it. You know, to just get a baseline test as well, even if you don't have any neurologic problems to begin with, but if you have any health conditions, let's get to the root cause. Not treat symptoms, but get to the root cause. Now, this test takes about twenty to thirty minutes. There's a lot of set up time. areas are underactive and which areas are overactive. The qEEG tells us which areas are not functioning right, The VG tells us, okay, which ones are overactive. If they're overactive, we got to come up with therapies to relax it. If they're underactive, we got to come up with exercises to stimulate it. And it says, is there imbalance of left and right? Remember we're talk abou the blood pressure. You want to make sure everything's equal from

right and to left. Well, this is going to measure your brain function. You want your brain equal from right to left. That's called a VNNG video distography.
