A couple of years ago, I was a co author of a book called Concussion Discussions, and what I wrote about was that you can get a head injury even twenty years ago. That's affecting
you today if you never repair the damage from the head injury. Now, what's a head injury. It could be, you know, playing high school football, could be a car accident. It could be a slip and fall. You could have hit your head on a piece of furniture, a suitcase
could have fell on your head. It's any impact to the head. Okay, So any impact to the head can cause the brain to kind of get tossed around inside the skull like a pinball machine, and you get these shearing forces of the brain tissues that rub against the middle of the skull, and that creates inflammation. Now, if you have damaged areas of the brain from the shearing forces, from the inflammation from lack of blood flow and oxygen,
physical trauma. Now, the signals can't communicate properly. That's called a disconnect. So a lot of my concussion patients or TBI patients will say they feel disconnected, and I say, that's exactly what's happening. The brain is not connecting properly. The signals are off. Remember those old TVs where you had to move the antenna to get a good signal. He moved a little left, a little bit of right, and depending on which way you set the antenna up, the signal would be good or bad. Now, what if
the way your brain is set up your signal is bad. A bad signal can cause headaches, dizzyness, brain fog, depression, anxiety, blurry vision, double vision, ringing in the ears, difficulty with focus, concentration, getting distracted too easily, lack of motivation, trouble shifting tasks for time management, organization, punctuality, language, social behavior. Those can all will occur because the signals in your frontal cortex are damaged due to an head injury.
And it doesn't he even have to be that big. You don't have to lose consciousness. Now, if you ever have lost consciousness, that's a lot worse. And if you have lost consciousness, that increases your chances of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or Parkinson's. So if you ever hit your head and lost consciousness and you've never been treated by a functional neurologist, I would take advantage of the gift we're gonna give you at the end of the office,

Right, So what you want to do is get your brain so strong that if you do hit your head, it doesn't create any problems. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Right. So with concussion, there's a lot of symptoms you might not even realize are related to a head injury. People have digested problems a lot of times it's related to a head injury. When people have sleeping problems, it could be related to a head injury. But the key is to figure out which part of the head
is injured. Now, if you have both digested and sleeping problems, probably have a problem in your brain stem, which we call the rest and digest. Instead of being in a nice, healthy state, people would be put in fear mode, so they'll have anxiety. If you have anxiety, it could be from an old head injury. Headaches dizziness are the most common symptoms, but not everyone gets just those two symptoms. It might be, well, my memory is a little bit slower than it used to be. It
could be my brain feels a little foggy. Could be my energies a little bit lower. Do you ever think your low energy could be from the time you bumped your head on the shelf ten years ago? It could be related. It makes sense. If you hit your head, then your brain can get tossed around. Your brain stem can get twisted and torqued. It can affect your respiration, your immune system, your hormones. You know how many people I'm seeing for rectile dysfunction right now. That's controlled by your brain.
So we're literally helping all these guys get back their libido at fifty, sixty, seventy years old, and these they've had low libido for decades. Guess what that could be related to a head injury. You got to check out your brain. If you have a rectile dysfunction or ed, the first area to check is your brain. If you have high blood pressure, guess what controls your blood pressure your brain. Your brain controls your heart rate, your
blood pressure. But does your cardiologists analyze your brain? Nope? Does your cardiologists take blood pressure on both sides? I don't know. Most of them don't. If you have a good one, they're gonna take blood pressure on both sides because you can have high blood pressure on one side and normal blood pressure on the other. So if you always take the normal side, you
might not know you've got high blood pressure. Now listen to this. It's better to have high blood pressure that's equal on the right side and the left side. Then one side that's high blood pressure on one side that's normal. That's more dangerous. That's why it's important to take blood pressure on both sides. Right, If the doctor checks your reflexes, do they check your reflex only on one side or are they gonna check both sides? Right, They're
gonna listen to your right lung. Don't you think they should listen to your left lung. When you go to the eye doctor, do they check your right eye only? Why are you accepting these people taking blood pressure only on one side. You would not accept your your dentist only cleaning half of your teeth, or your eye doctor only checking one eye, or your physical therapist only working on one muscle right. Imagine you worked out and you only worked
out on the left side. That would be kind of weird, wouldn't it. Why would you check only one side Everything in your body you need to check both sides. Your muscles, your bones, your circulation, your blood pressure, your eyes, your smell. Check your smell on both sides. If you have a difference in smell, that's not good. Smell is one of the first things to go in Alzheimer's in dementia. So if you hit your head, your smells not so good. You better get your brain checked
out. This is not a joke. Don't wait. Don't be the ninety nine percent that just weights and weights and weights and doesn't do anything and doesn't get their brain checked out, and then their memory just gets worse and worse. Their focus gets worse, their brain fog gets worse, their depression gets worse, their motivation gets worse. It's much easier to stay ahead of the
game. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. But we have to do an analysis of the brain to figure out which areas are working well and which areas are not working well. Now, certain symptoms of a concussion overlap other conditions, right, So if you have a concussion, you can get headache, dizziness,
brain fog, fatigue, trouble, sleeping, digestive issues. Right, that's very common with concussion. But guess what else? Those symptoms exactly describe lime disease. People with lime disease low energy, brain fog, headaches, dizziness, fatigue, aches, pains, brain fog, trouble, sleeping, digestive problems. It's the same exact condition, same symptoms. One is a head injury, the other is an infection. Guess what all So it is
exactly like lime disease and concussion, COVID nineteen coronavirus. Right, what did people say when they got COVID? Headaches, fatigue? Oh? What else happened? They lost smell? Remember what I said in the last session. If you lose your smell, you're more likely to get Alzheimer's or dementia. You hit your head, you're more likely at Alzheimer's dementia, you get COVID, you're more likely get Alzheimer's mansha. It's very similar, and sometimes it
starts with loss of smell. It's the early signs. So all these people that lost their smell, and especially if they're not getting it back the next twenty thirty forty years, your brain's gonna tate. You better fix that. You gotta analyze your brain. Why aren't you smelling properly? Okay, stick around to the end of the show. We're gonna tell you how to do that. But don't wait for your smell to come back. That doesn't work.
We take lots of action with smell, where I have to do manipulation of the bones on the face, where we have to do hyperbaric oxygen chamber to get that oxygen going. We have to do laser therapy inside the nostrils, infrared cold laser working on that ole factory nerve. We gotta do visualization where all the patients visualize a lemon, and then I have them hold a lemon and smell lemon and touch it and imagine that smell, Imagine that taste.
We'll put taste on their tongue. Look at the yellow lemon, Touch the yellow lemon, imagine what it smells like. And we do exercises increasing smells, and slowly but surely people's smell comes back. But you gotta take action. You gotta do the laser. We gotta do the facial manipulation. We gotta do the chamber. We gotta do the smell exercise. We gotta do the brain exercise. We gotta get the circulation going. We got to bring down the inflammation. We gotta get rid of the congestions. We gotta
get rid of any toxicities. It's a lot of work to get your smell back, but it could be done. But here's the deal. When you work with me, it's a slow process. People don't like to hear that, but I always tell them up front it's a very slow process. But it's a permanent fix. It's not a temporary cover of symptoms. That's what medication does. It hides your symptoms. It's a band aid. It's not
real. There's never been a medication that's actually cured a disease. Right, So, so chemotherapy doesn't cure cancer, right, else people wouldn't get cancer. They're getting more cancer now than ever, and people are more chemo than ever. Right. If chemo cured cancer, then if we're doing so much chemo, we would have less cancer. Nope, but we're doing more chemo and we're having more cancer. So that's not the cure. People can take
high blood pressure medication, that's not the cure for heart disease. Doesn't cure it. If it cured it, people wouldn't have heart disease. But guess what, people are taking more heart medication than ever, yet we have more heart disease than ever. It's not rocket science. People. If we're taking more medication but getting more of the condition, the medica not curing the disease. And it's not that hard to figure out. It's all about money and
greed. There is no money in a cure, right If cancer was cured. You don't how many pharmaceutical businesses would go bankrupt. If heart disease was cured, they would lose profits. If diabetes was cured, they would lose profits. But they want to give you a medication to let you live a little longer with diabetes, but not cure it. Because if you cure it, then you don't have to take the medicine anymore. So they'll never be a cure because then you don't have to take the medicine anymore. All right,
So be careful who you take your health advice from. Right now. MY goal is to get you better. So I see you less and less and less. I don't want to see you more and more and more. That means I failed as a doctor. I want to see you less. So in the beginning I might see you a lot, but then I said, okay, let's see you less. Some patients get scared. Well, I don't want to see you less. Doctor. I love coming to see you. Don't rely on me, don't rely on medication. Don't rely on
supplements, don't rely on herbs. You don't need anything from the outside. All your healing is from within. So don't think that if you see more doctors you're healthier. The healthiest, the healthiest people see the least doctors. The healthiest people take the least medicine. The healthiest people take the least supplements. Oh. Interesting, the healthiest people don't need supplements because if you're healthy, you're eating real food, your gut absorbs properly, and you get all
the new genes you need, so there's no need to take supplements. You don't need herbs and supplements and homeopathic remedies and all these medications and drugs and all this. You know, you don't need alcohol, and you don't need coffee, and you don't need sugar. Your brain might be used to it, and you might be addicted to it, and you might think you need it. Whatever you think you need, maybe you don't actually need it. Maybe it's all in your head. Maybe you're healthier than you think you are.
Right, So, if you want a doctor that wants to get you to a place where you don't need doctors, where you don't need pills, drugs, medications, injections, ivs, all these tests, all these visits. Why if you have back pain, why are you gonna take a painkiller or a muscle relaxer, or a steroid or an end st or tilen oil or aspirin so you don't feel
the pain. That pain is protecting you. It's saying, hey, don't bend over this way, or don't lift up that heavy weight, or else you're gonna compress my disk or my nerve. You're gonna cause arthritis, stenosis. These pills aren't smarter than your brain. Why is the doctor's always taken out the organs. Let me take out your thyroid, take out your gallbladder, take out your appendix, your adenoids, your tonsils. You don't need them. Oh really, you don't need your tonsils. You don't need your
adenoids, you don't need your appendix. You don't think these organs are there for a reason. You don't think they have a job to do. Why do you have a gall bladder not to be taken out because you have a gallstone. Your gall bladder is important. Why is your cholesterol high? Maybe there's a reason your cholesterol's high. Maybe you're building some good structures in your
cells. Maybe you're producing some good hormones. If you're eating healthy and you're exercising, and you're doing the right stuff, and your cholesterol's high and your inflammatory markers are low, do you really need to take statin drugs, lipitour, these cholesterol meds. Do you really need it? Well? Guess what
cholesterol meds cause dementia and joint pain. I don't want either of those, So I don't want to get dementia, and I'm gonna eat healthy and exercise, So my cholesterol is at a good normal ratio where I have good healthy cholesterol of the HDL and not so much bad cholesterol of the LDL. I have a good ratio and my inflammation levels are down. Therefore, I'm going to function better, feel better, and live a better life. This is

Now we were talking about before that the symptoms of a concussion or a traumatic brain injury are very similar to the symptoms of COVID nineteen, very similar to the symptoms of lime disease chronic lime. Right, so, how do you know which one you got? Maybe you have all three? Wait, lots of people have COVID right now. Interesting, you know we have more COVID.
We're more than double the amount of COVID this year at the same exact time than last year. Double more. Nobody's freaking out. It's not all over the news, it's not all over social media, right it's not all over the TV. Nobody's wanting to get their vaccine right now, nobody's wearing their masks all the time. How come nobody's freaking out about all these increased cases of COVID right now? Why is nobody freaking out? Because the news isn't
telling you to freak out. The news wants you to freak out over the election right now. The news wants you to freak out over Israel right now. That's what they want. So you're just going to freak out over what the news tells you and less unless you turn off the news and start thinking for yourself. Don't believe what you hear on the news. It's not real right. People say, oh, I got to listen to the news to
be informed. You're not being informed. You're being informed about the one percent of the information that they want you to know, so you fight and get put in fearma. They're not telling you the ninety nine percent of the news. You're not being informed. If you watch the news, you are misinformed because the only thing they're reporting you is stuff that they want you to know, and the stuff they don't want you to know, the real news they're
not reporting. So the news. And I don't care what station we're talking about. I don't care if you're talking about Fox. I don't care if you're talking about CNN, MSNBC. I don't care what it is. They're not telling you the truth. They're not gonna tell you what you need to know to be informed. So don't think watching mainstream media keeps you informed. It doesn't. They're just telling you what to worry about in that moment, and you're falling for it. Hook law and sinker. You think the only
two wars in the world are in Israel and Ukraine. Nope, you really think the two best people we have to run the country are Biden and Trump. Nope. You really think the economy depends on inflation, Nope? They control everything, inflation, gas prices, the cost of food. Who's running the government? It's all run by these rich corporations. And there's really only two or three of them, right, there's not a lot of corporations that run the world. What is it black Rock and Vanguard? I think that's
it. That's it. If you run every company, it all comes back to these two. They run the world world, they run the government. Do you think the government has any decision making abilities? Nope, they're run by the corporations. The CDC is run by corporations. The FDA are run by corporations. They're not run by the government. Don't be a fool. Okay, everything you've been told is a lie. The less you believe, the less you listen to the news, the better off you'll be be in
your own community. Help people in your own community. Okay. Watching the news does not contribute to the world. It just creates more fear and more anxiety. Right, And look, I write for the newspaper, the local newspaper. Though I'm not writing for the New York Times or the USA Today, I write for my local newspaper where I give them health advice and you know what other articles they have. Oh, this is what the downtown like
one hundred years ago. And this is what the senior citizens are doing this weekend. And the boy Scouts are going hiking here, and the local high school team won the baseball championship. And there's going to be a July fourth parade downtown. And this is you know, a trip we're doing a bus to Atlantic City. Anyone want to come along, And you know, it's just fun, local events, happy stories. That's the newspaper I write for.
Okay, Now, I also you know, I'm on the radio show, right, but I don't want my radio show to be about all the bad stuff that's going on in the world. Right I'm not going to talk about the racism. I'm not going to talk about the political corruption. I'm not going to talk about all the murders and all the natural disasters. And I'm not going to talk about the fear of the future. I don't fear the future. I live in the moment. I don't want you to fear
the future that creates anxiety. You gotta live today. I'm assuming there's not going to be World War three. Watching the news will not help, okay, But by me being peaceful and helping other people be peaceful and they spread that peace and love. Right, Spread that peace and love, Spread it in your community, and it'll spread out. Don't think by being nice to
your neighbor can't affect the world. It will. You be the person that's nice to everybody, and then everyone else that you are connected to will start being nicer to others, and we'll have more peace and love in the world. Just do it the old school way, the grassroots. Watching the news doesn't create peace, it doesn't put you informed. Right, So, if you think think about the past, you're gonna get depressed. If you worry
about the future, you're gonna get anxious. The key to depression is progression. Progression in all aspects of your life, whether it's working out, eating healthier, how much water you drink, how much sleep you get, how much sunlight you get. Progression in your work, progression and your money and your finances, Progression and your relationships and with your spouse and your parents and your friends, progression and your spirituality, with your pastor or your priest,
or your rabbi or your minister. Progression in how many days you pray, and progression in your spirituality of giving to others and charity. And progression in your sports capabilities, and progression in your chess game, and progression in your gardening skills and your cooking skills. You know, progression in any thing you want to get out of the depression, you make progression. The key for anxiety is distraction. Don't just try and all relax, It's gonna be okay.
You can't talk yourself out of anxiety. Calm down, everything's gonna be fine. Nope, that won't work. Distract yourself. Get out of the room, get out of that conversation, hang up the phone, turn off the news, turn off your cell phone. Go outside, drink a glass of water, take the dog for a walk, go for a little run, call an old friend, put on some tunes, rock out, dance, do something. Just distract yourself. Read a book, listen to a
podcast. Distraction. You have anxiety, Distract yourself. That's the biggest, most important thing. Everyone says, what do I do when I have anxiety and panic? Distraction? Get your mind on something else. Maybe even helping others would be even the best thing forget about your problem and helps else. So I love my job. I'm just constantly helping people. And guess what. When I'm done with my job, then I help my kids, and I help my wife, and I help my parents, and I help my
siblings, and I help my friends. All I do is help others, help others, help others. I don't have time to worry about myself. I'm always helping others. But people like you never worry about anything that's right. So I'm fixing everybody else's problems. And I love it because when I fix everybody else's problems, when I cure these health conditions, when I get people their quality of life back, that makes me happy and joyful. And
all I want for people is to be happy and healthy. And I'm the happy and happiest and healthiest guy you'll ever meet because all I do is take care of my health and help people. That's why we're here on this earth, is to help people. It's not to be lazy. It's not to sleep in, it's not to get your food delivered and watch Netflix every night. It's not to scroll through Facebook and post on Instagram. That's not why you're here on this earth. You're here to help others. But you gotta
get out of the house. You gotta get off your butt. You gotta unplug from the technology. Helping others is not making a comment oh you look pretty on Facebook. That's not helping others. Doesn't make people feel good. Yes, I'd rather you give a big compliment on social media then fight with people. Stop fighting with people on social media. Let people have their opinions. That's fine. You might not agree with them, and if you want to ask them a question, that's fine. And if people ask for your
opinion, that's fine. But don't go arguing with people for no reason. Just let them state their opinion which you don't agree with, and let them get the support that they want. Right, we have an arguing why are going to argue on social media? Tim? Right? Social media should be called antisocial media. Right, So you gotta unplug, and therefore your brain will function at a higher level. Right. So, the more TV you watch, the more news you watch, the more social media on, the
bigger your mood disorder is going to be. The more depression you have, the more anxiety you'll have. You'll lose your focus more, your memory will get worse. see a therapist. Just take a zan X. Right. We don't want to just take a xanax or take an ssri, right, because sometimes those pills are just trying to hide symptoms. Right, So they're just trying to get rid of your anxiety. But let's say, not only do they get rid of the anxiety, they also get rid of your passion for life. They also get rid of your joy, your happiness, your vitality, your
energy, your aura. Because these medications can shut off everything. Xanax shuts everything down, right, the lexapro, antidepressants, anti anxiety pills, they shut everything down. What I do is complete opposite. Don't come to me if you want a pill. That's not what we do at caplin brain and buy instead of shutting everything down, I make your brain stronger. If your brain stronger, now can handle the stress. Because guess what, stress will
never go away. Circumstances might change, but you're always going to have stress. Whether it's money, whether it's a living situation, whether it's your job, whether it's your relationship, your kids, your some physical trauma, you're sick, kind into an accident, family members traumatized, somebody stole from you. Yeah, fell down and hurt yourself. There's always gonna be a stress. There's nobody in the entire world, in the history of mankind that doesn't
have stress. Everybody has stress. If you go on social media, might not look like people are stressed out, but they are. Everybody gets stressed. I get stressed. You know my hot water heater just broke the other day. That was super stressful. Right, everything everybody has stress. Right, I have a family member that just got diagnosed with cancer. Do you
think that's stressful? Of course, that stressful. Everybody has stress. Right, Everybody loses loved one, everybody has a problem, the you got a sick pet or something. Everybody's got stress. But you need your brain stronger, So it can handle the stress. You gotta work for it. There's no pill that's gonna fix your stress might hide your symptoms. You want to be able to handle the stress. Oh you want to have to rely on a doctor or a pill every time some stressful situation comes your way. You
gotta be the strong one. You gotta be the resilient one. But you gotta take action. And we can figure out what areas are causing the problems. And we're gonna give a gift to everyone listening. There's three tests that I recommend everybody taking so they can figure out, Hey, if I had a concussion, what areas of my brain got damaged? Hey? need to work on? If I got COVID nineteen, what are the neurological consequences to my brain? If I've been exposed to mold, what's the result of the mold exposure. You have to do these three tests because they're going to figure out where the problems are coming from. Whether it's a concussion, whether it's a bacterial infection, a viral infection, a worm, a parasite, a head injury, a stroke, an on immune disease. I don't care what it is. We got to be a detective, and that's where
I come in at cap limbrade and Body. I'm the detective that could figure out where the problems are. Not hide symptoms. Don't come to me just to get rid of your symptoms. Come to me if you want the permanent solution, if you want to get to the root cause, not just some band aid and some easy quick fix. You're looking for an easy quick fix. This is not the place you're looking to work for it. You want
to do long term work. You want to get a permanent solution. You want to be able to help yourself and not depend on doctors and pills. These are the three tests you have to do. I told you, guys, I was going to give you a gift. The second test is called a VNG Video distography where you wear these infrared goggles and these goggles have cameras and then that measure your eye movements, your speed, how they go up and down and left and right, and compare the right side and the left side, and the pupil size and how it responds to light and dark and to a head turn. All these different tasts can tell us which areas are overactive creating anxiety and heart palpitations and trouble with
sleep, insomnia, worrying so much, mind's racing. But it also tells which air are underactive low motivation, depression, fatigue, low energy, thyroid problem, constipation, where everything's slow, tells us which areas are slow. That's called a VNG. That's why I love this test. It tell us these imbalances from left to right. There's no other technology that could tell us
the difference in your right brain and your left brain like this VNG. It's my favorite test to see if the left and right brain aren't connecting, and if they're not connecting, that could lead to autism. Add ADHD, dyslexia, Aspergers, Turets. All these developmental delays are from a disconnect in the left and the right brain. I love the VNG test for that. That's another test that costs five hundred dollars. Our gift to you is you can

I would go over your VNG, go over your blood work, but also look at your heart, your lungs, your gut, your memory, your balance, a physical and neurological evaluation.
