The following is a paid podcast. iHeartRadio's hosting of this podcast constitutes neither an endorsement of the products offered or the ideas expressed. Function better, feel better, and live a better life. This is doctor Eric Kaplan, and you're listening to boost your brain power. We're going to be talking about exercises to

improve your brain function, all different types of exercises. They might be physical exercises, might be posture exercises, eye exercises, breathing exercises, heart exercises. There's all type of exercises that you need to do to bring your brain to function at the highest level. You got to do the work. So there's no magic pill that you could take to make your brain function. If there was a memory pill, everyone would just take this memory pill and no

one would have memory problems, no one would have dementia or Alzheimer's. There is no magic pill and there will never be a magic pill. So stop wanting to find this supplement or herb or medication or drug that's going to fix your brain. It doesn't happen. What you have to do is do the work yourself. So you might have to do physical exercise, you have to physical exercise every day, and the best time to exercise is in the morning.

First thing in the morning. That's when testosterone is highest, your cortisol is highest, that's when you're supposed to exercise. So you don't want to exercise at night because then that's going to interrupt your sleep. You won't get a deeper sleep. But if you exercise in the morning and increase corticol in the morning, then your cortisol level is going to go down at night and that's going to help you to sleep. If you exercise at night, you're

increasing cortisol, then you're not gonna have as deep of a sleep. You don't want to do anything that increases cortisol at night, physical exercise, If you eat food, that increases cortisol at night. If you watch television, that increases cortisol at night. If you play on your cell phone, that

increases cortisol at night. If you're on the computer or your iPad. I need these smart devices because of the blue light are going to increase cortisol, which is going to affect your sleep and prevent you from getting into that deep

sleep. The r EM rapid eye movements, or what we call the delta brain waves where you want to be in a relaxed state, because when you sleep, that's when you reoxygenate, that's when you heal, that's when your immune system works, that's when your digestion absorbs all the nutrients you had from the day. Then when you wake up, now it's time to eliminate the

toxins and then you're gonna peet and you're gonna have a bowel movement. So at night, when you're resting, you're getting rid of all the bad stuff, and then when you wake up in the morning, you're gonna pee it out, you're gonna poop it out, you'll be sweating it out. Your body has amazing ways to get rid of the toxins as long as we let it. So if you're not getting the proper sleep, you're not gonna get the proper digestion. So we got to add a stress mode more into a

relaxed rest and digest state. So physical exercise should be first thing in the morning. And choose something that you like to do. If it's something that you don't like, you're not gonna do it. You know, if you don't like the gym, don't do the gym. Find something that you do, like, maybe it's a sport basketball or soccer, tennis, or something that gets your body moving. Maybe it's bike riding, maybe it's hiking. Maybe it's power walking. Maybe it's jogging or running. Maybe it's rollerblading.

Maybe it's dancing. And there's all types of dance. Right, there's just you could do salsa dance, entango lessons, and you could do zoomba, and you could do pole dancing and belly dancing and hip hop dancing. Find something that you like to do so that you get excited to exercise. If it's a chore or an errand then you're more likely to skip it. And find something that your friends or family like to do, so you can make it social as well. So if you can combine physical exercise with socialization,

and even better, do it outside where you get sunlight and oxygen. Now you're gonna boost your brain power. So you have to exercise every day. When you exercise, you want to do something aerobic. You know, something that your heart starts beating, you start sweating, you start breathing a little heavy, and then you also want to do weight resistant exercises. Weight resistant exercises not only make your muscle stronger, they make your bone stronger to prevent

osteoporosis or osteopenia. Not only do they make your muscle stronger and your bone stronger, but they make your brain stronger. Weightlifting is a mood stabilizer, So if you have anxiety or depression, or you get panic attacks, physical exe exercise is one of the best things you can do. It's even better than medicine. Medicine cannot mimic the same chemicals that get released with weightlifting.

Weightlifting literally releases feel good chemicals to boost your mood. So if you're feeling low motivation, poor focus, poor memory, you're feeling fatigued, you better start doing some weightlifting. And you don't need wage. You can do push ups. There was a study that they showed that a person who could do forty push ups is ninety percent less likely to get heart disease, heart attack,

or a stroke versus someone who cannot do ten push ups. So if you could do forty push ups, your ninety percent less likely to have heart disease versus someone who can't even do ten pushups. So start doing some push ups, start doing some weight resistant exercises, maybe pull ups, maybe get a band. A resistance band doesn't have to be weights. But if you have weights, great, you have a kettleball, great, you have a weight bar and a bench. Great. When they closed the gym from COVID

nineteen, what I did is I used my backyard as a gym. So I got a bunch of different rocks that weighed different. Okay, this was a ten pound rock, and this was a t twenty pound rock, and this was a thirty pound rock. And I found a forty pound stick and a fifty pound branch, and I use those at my weights. So you could be creative. You could go shopping and do weightlifting and do buis curls with your shopping mags. You don't necessarily have to go to a gym to

lift weights. You can use your own body weight, you can use materials in your house, you can use nature outside. There's always ways to do weight resistant exercise, whether you have weights or you don't. But you gotta do it every day. You gotta be consistent. If you only work out once a week, then your muscles aren't going to get the activation that they

need. Your mood isn't going to improve as much as it could. Your bones aren't going to prevent osteoporosis osteopenia as much as it would if you were doing weight resistance every single day. Even if it's just for ten twenty minutes, it doesn't have to be a long time, but it's got to be consistent. Your brain desires that resistance. But nowadays nobody wants to work. They don't want to lift right, you know, even the I'm going on

vacation and everything's in a rolling bag. When I was growing up, you actually lift up your bag to use your muscles. Now everything you just roll it, and you do not get the same stimulation. So purposely lift up your bag. Use it as a way challenge yourself. Do a little extra exercise. Take the steps instead of the elevator. Park far away instead of parking close. Walk to your next appointment instead of taking a subway or an uber. Choose to exercise as opposed to making it easier. Choose to get

off your butt, as opposed to keeping everything coming towards you. The technology makes us weaker. It makes your muscles weaker, your bon's weaker, and your brain weaker. So start to unplug. Start using your own body weight and your own brain instead of relying on Google and YouTube. The technology makes us stupid. It's called digital dementia. You don't have to remember people's numbers anymore. You don't have to know how to spell or add, or use

a map for directions. The GPS does it for you. Everything is in your little cell phone. You don't have to remember anything because you could just google it. Well, you have to voluntarily remember things, so remember one of your friend's phone numbers on purpose. When you go to a restaurant, actually put your tip and write it out. Let's say, if you do a twenty two percent tip, literally multiply by point two two. Don't just

put it in your calculator or read what the receipt says. The convenience is not good for your brain. If you have to go to a new place, look at a map, figure out your directions, remember the directions, remember the landmark, and don't put it in your GPS. You know, maybe leave a few minutes earlier just in case you get lost because you're not used to it. But purposely challenge yourself make it harder. The harder you work, the stronger your brain gets. And the stronger your brain gets,

you function better, feel better, and live a better life. This is doctor Eric Kaplan. More when we come back from the break jute miss Boost your brain power with Eric Kaplan every Saturday from two pm to three pm to learn the secrets of how to optimize your brain function. dot com for more information. Function better, feel better, and live a better life. This is doctor Eric Caplan and you're listening to boost your brain power. We're talking about exercise and how exercise can make your brain function at a higher level. But you have to exercise consistently with anything in life. It's consistent, right, You can't just eat one healthy mood, one healthy meal a week. That wouldn't be good. You can't just brush your teeth

one time a week. That wouldn't be good. So why is it okay just to work out once a week. It's not. You have to work out every day. You have to brush your teeth every day. You have to drink water every day. You have to eat your fruits and veggies every day. You have to be nice every day. You have to be charitable every day. You have to be spiritual every day. If your brain is going to function a highest level, it needs consistency, and twenty one days

is the magic number where your brain can get rewired. That's how long it takes to create a good habit. So if you exercise for twenty one straight days, now your brain and body are stronger than ever. Now they can handle. If you skip a day here and there, it's not as bad. But you want to do twenty one straight days. That creates the change where now your body's more resilient. Resilient is key for your brain function. You want to be able to go to bed hungry. That is a good

thing. You don't want to go to bed with your stomach full. That's really bad for digestion. It's bad for your sleep, it's bad for your absorption, it's bad for your immune system. It's much healthier to go to bed hungry. It's also good go to bed cold. Your brain likes being cold, you know. Challenge yourself. You know, if it's cold outside, go outside in a short and t shite. Be resilient. If it's hot outside, wear a coat and gloves and a hat and get extra sweaty.

So you say, I can handle the heat, I can handle the cold. I can handle without food or water. I can handle myself without sleep. So you gotta be resilient, and you want to be consistent with those things. But what if you don't get a good night's sleep? Do you want to be brain dead the whole next day? Now, my brain is so strong that even if I don't sleep the night before, I'm gonna still be on point and still that energy, that focus because I've been consistent

with it for so many years. Now, if I mess up, there's no repercussions because I'm resilient. Can handle the stress, right. Most people can't handle stress. Somebody cuts them off driving and that gets them worked up. Somebody says something they don't like and they get all anxious. Somebody's showed up late to an appointment and you get all panicky. Someone doesn't return your text message and you get all depressed. Don't be so sensitive, Be strong,

be resilient. You're more powerful than you can ever imagine. You're stronger than you believe you are. Your brain is more powerful than you think you are. You're your harshest critic. You think you're a lot worse than you are. You have a great life. I mean just being born in America. You won the lottery just by being born. The chances of anyone being born and the amount of things that have to go right for you to be

born is a miracle. And for you to be born in America, we have all these freedoms, and you have access to whatever you want, healthcare, food, education. You know, in other countries, women can't drive, they can't go to school. In other countries, you can't buy whatever food you want, you can't go to whatever doctor you want. We have all these freedoms in our country, yet everyone transtes our country. Where else are you gonna go? What country has better rights than we do? What

country has more opportunity for happiness and growth than we do. Our country is less racist than any other country in the world, but if you turn on the news, you'll think that we're the most racist. I mean, America is full of every color, aide size, you could imagine every race, religion. Most countries are one race and one religion. We have everything here, right You look at our Olympic teams. There's black, there's white, there's Spanish, there's Asian. You go to a Chinese Olympic team, it's

all Chinese people. You go to, you know, a Jamaican Olympic team, they're all Jamaican, they're all black. You go to an Indian Olympic team, they're all Indian. You go to Japan, they're all Japanese. America has everybody. You go to Mexico, they're all Mexican. But you go to America. We got Mexican. We got people from Africa, we got people from Asia, we got people from Europe. America is the best

place to be. That's what everyone wants to come here. So every morning you wake up, you should thank God that you were born in America. Be grateful for what you have, Be grateful that you can just buy food whenever you want. All you have to do is go to the store. You don't even have to go to the store. Now you can get it delivered. Right. You go to Venezuela, not so easy to get food. Go to Haiti, not going to be so happy. You go to

India, You're gonna get a lot of diseases. There's a lot of poverty there. Our poor are rich compared to other countries. Our homeless are rich compared to other countries. Right, we really take care of the elderly, We take care of the poor. This is a great place to be, but you got to be grateful for it. And what if I told you I would give you a million dollars today, that would make you happy. But what if I said I would give you a million dollars but you couldn't

wake up the next day, Nobody would take it. So just waking up is more valuable than a million dollars. So how come you don't wake up every morning like you just want a million dollars? And take care of this body. Take care of your brain. You only get one brain and one body. Stop destroying it. Stop putting in all these chemicals, all these food dyes, these preservatives, these artificial sweeteners, these artificial flavors, all

this processed foods and boxes and cans and bags. If you have one car, are you gonna do Are you gonna give it the worst porous gasoline and oil? Are you gonna give it the highest quality gasoline and oil? If you have one car for the rest of your life, you're gonna make sure all your tires are rotated. You use the best oil, the best gasoline, because you need to last forever. Treat your body like that. Treat your body like you treat your car. Treat your body like you treat your

dog, or you treat your kids. Stop putting everyone else a priority over your own health. If you're not healthy, you're no good to anybody on the airplane. What do they tell you to do? Put on your mask before you put on your kid's mask. Take care of yourself first. It's not worth your health if you can't perform properly. Right. So, if you have to say, oh, I can't take care of my health because I gotta work, what good is money If you don't have your health,

Oh, I can't take care of myself. I gotta take care of my kid. You can't take care of your kid if you're not healthy. Oh, I haven't been prioritized my health. I've been taking care of my mom. I'm her caregiver. So good to your mom if you're not healthy. So with your health, you take care of yourself first. I want you to do physical exercise every day. You should do breathing exercises every day. The best breathing exercises is that inhale for four seconds, hold your breath for

seven seconds, and exhale for eight seconds. You do that three times, and you repeat it three times a day. Another good breathing exercise, what you could do is where you inhale and then at the very end you inhale again, so you get like a double inhale and a very slow exhale. So let's say if we inhale for four seconds, you're gonna inhale for three and then the last second another big inhale, and then you're gonna try and exhale for eight seconds. So you go in for three and then another one.

That's the four, and you're gonna blow out for eight. It's in for four, the double one exhale for eight. That's another good breathing exercise. I always like to exhale twice as long as you inhale, because that's gonna maximize your oxygen, and that's gonna get rid of your carbon dioxide. The more you exhale, you're getting rid of the carbon dioxide. The carbon

dioxide is toxic to your brain and your body. So if you have diabetes or cancer, heart disease, oh, that stuff loves the carbon and wants that carbon dioxide high. Doesn't want your oxygen high. You got COVID nineteen lime disease, Oh, it wants that carbon dioxide. It hates the oxygen. So the more you increase your oxygen, the more you kill your bacteria, your viruses, your parasites, your worms, your yeast, your mold. You need oxygen because it kills off all the bad stuff. If you

have cancer, you need more oxygen. You got diabetes, you need more oxygen. You got Alzheimer's stroke, Parkinson's headache, dizziness, you need more oxygen. That's why our patients love the hyper oxygen chamber. It helps to increase the function of your brain and your body and helps to recover from injury, whether it's your muscles, your bones, your joints, your nerves, or your brain. So oxygen is life. That's whether they're always looking for

oxygen. So if you increase oxygen, you function better, you feel better, and you live a better life. This is doctor Eric Caplan and you're listening to boost your brain power. If you want to improve your brain function, help with memory, focus, sleep, digestion, energy, depression, anxiety, dizziness, balance, vision, headaches, brain FuG weight loss, or simply want to maximize your human potential and prevent future diseases. That this

is the show for you. Don't boost your brain power with doctor Eric Kaplan and you will learn natural, integrative and holistic approaches to modern day medical problems such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's stroke, autism, add concussion, autoimmune diseases, insomnia, fibromyalgia, vertigo, migraines, four posture pain, TBI, skin and digestive problems. Doctor Kaplan is most famous for getting to the root cause of a wide variety of brain and health conditions, rather than treating symptoms with

traditional medicines and risky surgeries. To contact the Doctor Kaplin, you can call his team at two O one two six one two one five zero or visit his website at kaplindc dot com. Function better, feel better, and live a better life. To function best, we need to exercise. So you got to do physical exercise every day. You got to do breathing exercises every day. When you do breathing exercises, make sure when you in the hell

you push your belly down and out to bring the diaphragm lower. And then when you exhale, the belly should come in and the diaphragm goes up. That way we maximize our oxygen intake and we get rid of the carbon dioxide. Also, be aware of your posture. You might need to do posture exercises. Most people their heads down, their shoulders are rolled in. They're

not gonna breathe properly. Not only that, it's gonna lead to authritis, degeneration, neck pain, headaches, plus Aesthetically, it's not gonna look good. You're gonna look like the hunchback of Notre Dame. You want to become one of these old ladies or old men all hunched over. Well, if you don't want to be hunched over, you better start doing posture exercises. Get off your butt, stop sitting, stand, move every twenty minutes,

you gotta get out for twenty seconds. Do a little posture exercise. Sit to stand, roll your shoulders back, chin up, open up your chest. Do some jumping jacks, some push up, some squats. Just walk for twenty seconds. Move your body every twenty minutes. You use it or you lose it. The worst thing for the brain the body in the posture is sitting. Get off your butt, get up, and if you're looking at your cell phone, look at your cellphone straight ahead, don't look down.

If you're working at a computer, make sure the monitor is at eye level. You don't want the monitor below your eye level. Then you're gonna look down. It's gonna ruin your posture. Keep the screen's eye level. Don't put them below eye level. That's going to ruin your posture. Stop looking down and start looking up. Everything we do is looking down. You're reading a book, you're looking down. You're on your cell phone. You're

looking down. You're typing on your computer. You're looking down. You're eating, you're looking down. You're folding laundry, you're looking down. You're doing your dishes. You're looking down. Stop looking down, start looking up. Look up at the mountaintop. Look up at the sky, look up at the clouds, look up at the sun and the moon. There's a whole universe up there. Why are you looking down? Don't be the haunchback of

Notre Dame. Start doing your posture exercises every day. Another good posture exercise is just to look up and point your thumbs backwards, so not rolling your shoulders in, but roll your shoulders out and point your thumbs backwards. Another good exercise is to stand against the door or wall and push your head straight

back into the door or the wall. It's called an isometric exercise, very good for your posture, where you can do the Superman stretch where you're lying on your stomach and then you look up and reach out in front like you're flying like Superman. If you're at the gym, start doing more triceps as opposed to biceps. Start doing more back as opposed to chest. That's going to improve your posture. If your posture improves, then your oxygen increases because

your lungs are able to expand. Also, your mood's gonna improve. Somebody who's depressed, right, they have poor posture. Chins down, shoulders rolled in, all slumped, can't breathe, low motivation, low energy. Now someone's very happy and vibrant and energetic. They are chins up, their posture is good, their shoulders are rolled back. High energy, high brain function. If you want to increase your brain function, you gotta increase your posture.

You gotta do your posture exercises. You gotta do your physical exercise first thing in the morning. You gotta do your breathing exercises three times a day. You gotta do your posture exercises minimum ten times a day. You gotta keep exercising. As long as you exercise, everything can improve. You want your vision to improve, you do vision exercises. It's not rocket science. If you want your memory to improve, you do memory exercises. You want

your vision to improve, you do vision exercises. You want your posture to improve, Guess what you gotta do posture exercises. You want your breathing to improve, You're gonna do breathing exercises. You want your stamina to improve, You want your strength to improve, you gotta run. You gotta do weightlifting. It's not that complicated. Your health is not that hard. You just gotta do the work. There's no magic pill that's gonna give you health.

Stop looking for it. And I'm not talking about medicine. I'm talking about supplement and herbs. People come to me with twenty different supplements. They're taken and they think that's healthy. That's not healthy. If you're healthy, you don't need pills. You get everything from the earth. You get it from your sunlight, from the oxygen, from the water, from the food. It's all free. The sunlight is free, the oxygen is free, the water is free. Your food can be free. You just gotta grow it.

Take the seeds and grow your own food. You can be healthy at a very low budget. If you want to be unhealthy, yeah, drink your seven dollars Starbucks, have your glass of wine every night, order out your lunch every day. You're gonna waste your money and you're not going to be healthy. You want to save money and be healthy. Use all the free stuff. Your sun, your oxygen, your water, and your food. That's all you need to be healthy. You don't need a gym.

You could do weight resistant exercises with rocks and sticks. You don't need a treadmill. You can run outside. There's no expenses needed. To exercise, take advantage, start using your brains, start using logic. Don't follow what everyone else tells you. If you follow the ninety nine percent, you're gonna end up like the ninety nine percent. The ninety nine percent, they're fat, they got heart disease, they got cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's, depression,

anxiety, they're miserable, they complain. That's your typical American. You got to be the one percent who's strong and healthy and energetic and happy and loving and giving and charitable and spiritual. You got to do the work that no one else is doing. If you want to be the one percent, If you want to have that high quality of life, if you want to have that triple digits, you want to live past one hundred, but in a healthy way. It'll be great if you live past one hundred and you're

healthy. Yet it would suck if you're seventy and you're in a wheelchair and you wear a diaper and you're in a nursing home. Right, A lot of people say, oh, well, I don't want to live to one hundred, so I'm gonna drink all my alcohol and eat my donuts and have my fried food and party all night and do drugs and not drink. So you're gonna live your life, But then the last twenty thirty years, you're

gonna be miserable. You're gonna be sick. You're gonna be in the hospital, seeing doctors, stuck with tubes and injections, being all these medicines being cut open, having a poor quality of life. Don't you want a good quality of life. Don't you want to age gracefully? Don't you want to look good? You want to look all wrinkly, dementia, hunchback, diaper, nursing home, wheelchair. I don't want to end up like that.

That's why I work so hard to take care of my body. Now, after forty years of age, you lose ten percent of all your brain cells. So make sure that those brain cells are as strong as possible, and make sure we detox and get rid of the bad brain cells. You have these glial cells, they clean up all the bad brain cells. You have good cholesterol cleans up all the bad cholesterol. You have good back to kills off all the bad bacteria. Your body is amazing at healing itself. We

just need to unleash its potential. Stop beating it crap. Stop drinking coffee, drinking alcohol, drinking your gatorade and your energy drinks. Just drink water. That's it. Stop having your bread and your cheese and your cream cheese,

and your yogurt and your oatmeal and your cereal. That's unhealthy. Start having your fruits and veggies, and your nuts and seeds, and your wildfish and your organic eggs and your pasture grass fed and meat, and your free roaming chickens, and your no pesticides, no herbicides, no chemicals, no steroids, no antibiotics, no genetically modified You could do it, and when

you do it, you'll see the results. So imagine if you exercise every day, you eat healthy every day, you work on your posture every day, you do your breathing exercises every day. Imagine how your quality of life would change. Stop watching the basketball games or the baseball games. Stop watching you know, TV and Netflix. You're wasting your time. Do stuff more

productive. Stop you know, stop loving all these singers and Taylor Swift and actors and athletes, and start looking up to people who change the world. Maybe doctors who were helping reverse Parkinson's disease, or maybe you know, engineers or making these new discoveries, or people who figure out how to build longer lasting bridges and make good tunnels, and people who are contributing to society,

who figure out how to clean the ocean water. Those are the people that we should be cheering and emulating and want to be on their TikTok and Instagram, not the Kardashians. People who are doing good in the world, doctors and scientists and engineers and researchers and developers, and those are the people that we need to look up to, not the singers, the athletes and the

actors that do no benefit for your life and this world. Let's start kind of seeing who we want to be like, who we want our mentors to be, who we listen to, what advice we take from. Because if we listen to the right people and we hang out with the right people, we're going to function better, feel better, and live a better life. This is doctor Eric Caplan. Function better, feel better, and live a better life.

This is doctor Eric Kaplan and you're listening to boost your brain power. There are many ways to boost your brain power, and it all starts with exercise, physical exercise, breathing exercise, posture exercise, also eye exercises. You want your vision to prove, do I exercises? How about do exercises for

charity? For volunteer right whatever it is the triboral food pantry or you know help the homeless, or you know volunteer at the library, or volunteer at the senior citizen center, or volunteer at the nursing home, or give to some charity, or help people in you know, Venezuela or Haiti, or in the Middle East or in the Ukraine or anyone who needs help. Start doing more charity that boost your brain power. The more you give, the

stronger your brain becomes. And not only does your brain become stronger, the person that you give to their brain becomes stronger. And anyone who witnesses your good need, they will become stronger too. So you got to exercise that charity muscle. You got to exercise that volunteerism. Start helping others and expecting nothing in return. You will get a return in the increase in brain function, but don't expect a monetary return or some favor or some time issue.

Just know that you're improving your brain, all right. That's the best reward you could get. Do stuff, not to get stuff back, but just cause it feels good. It makes you feel good about yourself. It boosts your brain power. You know, when you help other people and you see a smile on their face, there's no pill that can match the endorphins that release the serotonins that release the oxytocin that's released when you help a friend,

a loved one, or even a stranger. Right, there's nothing more powerful than helping other people to boost your brain power, exercise your spirituality. And I don't care what religion you are, or even if you're atheist or agnostic, but you need to have some spirituality. You need to know that there's something beyond you. And I don't care if it's the sun or the moon, but look up to something. Doesn't have to be God or Allah or

at an eye or Jesus. But have some spirituality. You know, you might practice Buddhism or or Hinduism, or you know, there's so many good studies out there. I like Stoicism. That's one of my favorite things to study. There's a great book it's called Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, and he basically was taught by these Stoics and put it down in a book. And

he was this one of the leaders of the Roman Empire. And he could have just enjoyed being the king and the riches and the emperor and you know, have sex with hot girls and get fed grapes and sleep in and you know, not do anything and not work and be lazy. But no, he decided, Hey, and this was you know, thousands of years ago. He talked about not you know, getting out from under the colors of

the bed. You know, it's like how many people wake up and I don't want to get out of bed, and they just stay in bed. He didn't have to get out of bed for anything. He was the emperor, but he got up. Marcus Aurelius, he's my favorite Roman empire because he worked at it. He did charity, He helped others, you know, he did. When they had the colosseum where they the gladiator used to kill each other, he made it so that they wouldn't kill each other anymore.

He made the swords that wouldn't stab, you know, they were dull points, so no one would die. You know. He made sure that the slaves were fed properly and that they had good sleeping corners and gave water and food. He gave away half his emperor right away. He was the most giving emperor in the history of mankind because he practiced stoicism. He was spiritual and that helped his brain. And you'll see his book Meditations, and

you'll see how powerful his brain is the brain can get rewired. It's called neuroplasticity, where you can rewire the brain and strengthen weak areas. I don't care if you've had a stroke, if you've had an aneurism, if you've got Parkinson's MS, you've got dementia. Your brain can rewire. Don't believe the people that tell you your brain gets worse with age. That is a lie. It's completely fabricated. Your brain can improve as you get older.

Your posture can improve as you get older. Your vision can improve as you get older. You just got to do the work. Now, how do you know what work you have to do? You got to do a thorough neurological a value. The best neurological evaluation is called a qEEG brain mapping. A qEEG brain mapping is this test where you wear a cap and it's got

electrodes attached to it and it measures all your different brain waves. It measures your alpha and your beta, and your theta and your delta, and it tells us which areas of the brain are functioning well and which areas of the brain are not functioning well. Once we discovers which areas are not functioning well, now I can tell you which exercises you need to do to strengthen those weak areas. You're only as strong as your weakest link, but you gotta

do the test to figure out where your weak links are. That's why I love this test. There's no radiation, there's no risk, there's no pain, but it gives us the information to tell us exactly what's wrong with your brain. This test is normally five hundred dollars, but we're gonna give a gift. For the first seven people to call, text or email, you could get the qEEG Brain Mapping for only twenty one dollars. The reason I'm giving this at such a large discount is so you can get acquainted with our

office. There's no pressure, and then you can decide whether you're a fit for the practice. But there's no obligation. It's more of a low risk, get acquainted visit. But it's going to tell you valuable information. So even if you decide not to do my suggestions to improve your brain function, you'll at least have records of how your brain is functioning in this moment.

In twenty twenty four, this test, the qee G Brain Mapping, is normally five hundred dollars, but for the first seven people to call, text or email you can get it for only twenty one dollars. Here is the number six four six two two one, six seven three eight, or you can email info at kaplinbrainebody dot com just say you want to be one of the first seven people to do the qEEG brain mapping for only twenty one dollars. Now, there's another test which I really like, is called a VNG

video nostography. This test you wear these goggles. They've got infrared cameras on them and they measure eye movements fast eye movements and slow and up and down, and light and dark, right and left and all the different fast and slow, and it tells us which areas of the brain are overactive. That creates anxiety and panic, insomnia, stress, mind's racing all the time, heart palpitations, muscle spasm, back pain, inflammation, leaky gut. That's

the overactive brain. But it also tells us which areas are underactive, the fatigue, the low energy, the low motivation, troublesome memory, focus not by passionate about life. The VNG picks this up which areas are overactive which areas are underactive, non invasive, no radiation, no pain. I love this test. It's normally five hundred dollars for the first seven people to call, text or email. You can get the VNG tests also for only twenty

one dollars. The number is six four six two two one, six seven three eight. The email is info at Kaplanbrain Andbody dot com. Another test you could do is a one on one evaluation with me, yours truly, Doctor Eric Kaplan. I will literally evaluate you one on one. I'll go over your VNG, your qEEG. I'll go over your blood work. I'll listen to your heart and your lungs and your gut, check your memory, your balance, your reflex is, your posture. Takes about forty five minutes.

It's normally five hundred dollars for the first seven people to call texter email. You could get that also for only twenty one dollars, and if you really want, you could do all three. A twenty one dollars brain mapping, a twenty one dollars VNG, and a twenty one dollars one on one with me for the first seven people to call text or email six four six two two one six seven, three eight.
