I'm your host, doctor Eric Kaplan. Lately, I've been seeing a lot of patients with tenitis or ringing in the ears. So with ringing in the ears, it's usually caused by an overactive nervous system, so the brain is overfiring. So the main purpose of therapy is to
calm down the brain so the brain's not overactive. So we see a lot of people with tenitis or tendis that have anxiety. They might also have difficulty sleeping. They might have some pain or headaches or dizziness. We're going to go over all that stuff today. So one of the big causes of tenitis is listening to loud music, loud sounds. People who go to concerts,
they damage their hair cells. People who you know, are working the subway all the screeching, or they work with jackhammers, or you know something where there's a lot of loud noises, You're going to damage your hair cells and cause tonitis. And that is very difficult to reverse, so you have to do your best not to listen to too loud of sounds. So right now people everyone's listening to headphones and they're blasting their music and it's too much.
And you go at home and you get surround sound, and you go to movie theaters and it's so loud, and you go to concerts and you know,
all these loud sounds are literally damaging your hair cells. So keep it as low as possible, don't keep raising up the volume, keep it low and try and make your ears work harder, sort of like exercising your ears to listen to the lowest possible music and still be able to hear it, and then you increase you're hearing abilities there in addition to reducing chances of tonitis. So with the headphones also, you know it's you've got to stay away
from those AirPods, the ones that are bluetooth. Then there's no wire connected, so those probably have a little bit more radiation and that's right next to your brain. So I personally want to decrease the amount of radiation my brain is getting. So even if they tell you it's safe, you know you want to decrease any radiation If possible, so you're only allowed a certain amount your entire life, so use it when you really need it. So if
it's not necessary, don't radiate your brain. Start to use wire headphones, you speaker phone. Don't hold your phone next to your ear. You know, if you're at home, your Wifi's on and you're holding your phone next to your ear with the five G signal, you're literally microwaving your brain. You got to be careful, you know, would you put your brain in a microwave? You know, I hope not. You know, I don't even want to stay close to microwave, so I always tell people if they're
using a microwave, stay away from it too. You don't want to put your head right next to microwave for three minutes and then open up the door. It's like, stay far away. That's radiation, right, and it's best not to use a microwave at all. It alters the food and water, so you're not getting the same nutritional value, so try and stay away from the microwave. You can get really fast heat with a small toaster of and that you just put on baker broil. It works very quick, you
know, maybe it's five minutes instead of three minutes. So store all your food and glass as opposed to plastic. Then you can stick to glass container or the even the stainless steel straight is straight into the little toaster oven and heat up food that way if you want to do an alternative to microwave. All right, So with tonitis, there's also a neurological condition called Minyear's disease, So sometimes people do have toenitis with min Year's disease. It's a neurological
disorder. It's not very common and in my opinion, it's overdiagnosed, but it does exist. In addition to tenitis, you're going to have dizziness or vertigo. In addition to the tonitis and vertigo, with Minyear's disease, you're also o to have hearing loss, and the hearing loss is in a low tone. Okay, so not every tonitis is many years, but if you have tonitis, if you have vertigo, if you have low tone hearing loss, then it's definitely possible. One of the things to do is to decrease
salt intake. So a lot of foods are overloaded with salt. Even bread has tons of salt. Catch up tons of salt all these dressings, tons of salt, soy sauces and kariaki sauces and barbecue sauces and honey mustard sauces and all these sauces and things that people use for the food, and you get at the restaurant loaded with salt. So if you have man years disease, you definitely want to bring down that salt. It'll make a big difference.
Increase your water intake, right, and then calm down the overactive nervous system. That is the most important thing is to calm down the overactive nervous system, all right, Now, what else can cause tonitis? Sometimes it's a lot of earwax. You got to be careful using those Q tips. You know, the human body is perfectly designed, so there's really nothing supposed to go in your ear that is smaller than your pinky of your hand,
and Q tips are much smaller than the pinky of your hand. And if you put the Q tips in your ear, you could actually push wax in and cause your own problems. So if you've probably compacted too much wax in your ear, you could go to a doctor. They have these little little instruments like these little metal hooks they just pull out the wax. You can do it at home with ear candling. You could get that at a local pharmacy where you take your own wax out. You can dissolve it with certain
fluids. So you know, you can find stuff at the store to help with your own wax. But don't use the Q tip and think you're going to be able to pull out all this extra wax there. So the extra wax can definitely cause tenitis, so you gotta be aware of that as well. All right, So what do we do to help the overactive nervous system?
So the overactive nervous system usually comes from your sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system increases stress, cortisol, your heartbeat increases, your blood pressure increases. It might cause difficulty with sleep or digestion. That's an increase in your sympathetic nerves a system we call that the fight, flight or freeze. So if you're in the fight or flight mode, then your brain is going
to be overactive. Blood pressure is going to increase, heart rates going to increase, respirations gonna increase, You're going to overactivate your muscles, get more tightness, more pain, not enough oxygen into the brain, the brain's gonna start getting overfired, inflamed, and tonitis can result. So we have to calm down the brain. You can calm down the brain by stimulating your vegas
nerve. There's a few ways to increase stimulation to the vegas nerve. One is gargling, and you could gargle really intensely, really loud, for thirty seconds, three times a day. You can also do the gag reflex. All doctors learn in school when we're going through these cranial nerves that the gag reflex activates cranial nerves nine and ten. Cranial nine is called the glosso pharyngeal,
and cranial ten it's called the vegas nerve. So everybody's taught that in school that the gag reflex stimulates these nerves that are linked to the parasympathetic nervous system. However, very few doctors are using it as therapy. What I do as a functional neurologist is figure out the areas that are not working properly and come up with proven ways through neuroscience that we know activate those weak areas. So it's not rocket science. Just like you could go to a physical
therapist to strengthen a weak muscle. You can also go to a functional neurologish to strengthen a weak area of your brain. There's not a lot of functional neurologists in the world, but there are everywhere you know, in every state, in not every single country, but pretty much close to at least every country, So there are all over the world. So if you have friends
or family that are looking for a functional neurologist, let me know. I can hook you up with somebody you know in a different area or a different country. But a functional neurologist is going to figure out where the weak areas
of the brain and do neurologic exercises to strengthen those areas. Might be an eye exercise, it might be a smell or a sound, or it might be a light, or it might be a movement, or it might be a memory exercise or a balance exercise, or a breathing exercise, or a posture exercise or coordination exercise or working on reaction time, or you know, doing things only on one side and spinning in a chair and using cold laser
therapy and doing proful nerves stimulators and doing neurosensory integrators and interactive metronomes. There's a wide variety of therapies that can be done to stimulate those weak areas, but the key is to figure out where those weak areas are. The best test to figure out where the weakest areas are in the brain, it's called
a q EG brain mapping. A qEEG brain mapping. All you have to do is where a cap, and the cap has different electrodes attached to it that are going to find the location of the areas of the brain that are
not functioning at optimal levels. And after it finds the areas of the brain that are not functioning at optimal levels, then we could locate the weak areas and teach you how to stimulate those weak areas in a natural way, without any drugs, without any surgery, integrating the whole brain and body in a
holistic way. This q EG brain mapping is normally five hundred dollars, but we're going to do a special For the first seven people that call, text or email, you could get the entire five hundred dollars QEG brain mapping for only twenty one dollars. All you have to do is call or text six four six two two one six seven three eight, or you can email info
at Kaplan Brain and Body dot com. If somebody doesn't pick up right away, just leave a message that you want to be one of the first seven people to take advantage of the q EEG brain mapping, which is normally five hundred dollars, but you want to get it for only twenty one dollars. All you have to do is call or tax six four six two two one six seven three eight, or you can email info at Kaplan, Brain embody

I'm your host, doctor Eric Kaplan. We were just talking about tonitis ringing in the ears. You get it
from the year's disease. You're gonna get it from listening to loud music, loud sounds in your headphones, if your workspace has really loud sounds, get it from impacted earwax. Be careful with the Q tips, and you get it from the overactive nervous system stress mode increased cord assault, which is the stress homemone overactive sympathetic nervous system. We talked about stimulating your vagus nerve through guard going really intensely for thirty seconds, three times a day, and the
gag reflex. Only have to do that once. It's very powerful. Do not do the gag reflex if you do have a history of bolimia or anorex here or eating disorder, eating disorders, So we don't want to trigger any bad processes or thoughts by doing some of these brain exercises. So other than that, though, go for it. Don't go too far back where you cause a vomit, but just go far enough back to elicit a reflex where you just get a little like a gag. All right, that's very good
for the vegas nerve. Making loud, deep noises with the back of your throat, anything with the back of your throat's gonna be good. It's going to help the vaguest nerve. Why people do that, Like meditation noises, those really help to calm the nervous system. Now, now, another thing
that we do in the all for tenitis, it's called surround inhibition. Surround inhibition is when we work together to figure out the exact sound of the tenitis that you hear, because it might be allowed high tone, it might be a low tone, a hissing sound, it might be different types of noises.
So we figure out what the noise is that you hear because it's an overactive nervous system, and then we get that noise and I put it next to your ear at the same time doing neurologic exercises that I've discovered through either the QEG brain mapping or my neurologic evaluation, which are appropriate for you to do because it's going to activate your brain in a certain area that's going to turn off the tenitis. So you do the exact sound of the teninitis and
we do a brain exercise at the same time. It's called surround inhibition, turning off that sound that one little town so you don't hear that tone anymore, and then you don't suffer from the tonitus that we have to do over and over and over again. Sometimes all patients do four treatments in a day where they do one treatment and then rest a little bit, then they do another treatment, then they rest a little bit, another treatment. It's a
brain boot camp, but it works very well. They're called intensive therapies and do very well with tonitis because that's something you have to be pretty aggressive with doing these neurologic exercises to turn off these bad sounds. And the best way to figure out where it's coming from is that qEEG brain mapping that I was talking about before the first break. So hopefully you've called emails signed up to be one of those first seven people for the q EG brain mapping. All
right. So another thing that we talked about, especially with manyears disease is dizziness. So times you can get ringing in the ears and dizziness. Also sometimes you can just get ringing in the ears and sometimes you could just get dizziness. With Manyear's disease, we said, you're gonna get the ringing in the ears, the tonitis, you're gonna get the dizziness, and you're gonna get the low tone hearing loss. All right. Now, sometimes you might
only have dizziness. There's all different types of dizziness. You could get dizziness from what's called POTS, POTS positional or the static tachycardia syndrome. We see a lot of patients with that in the office. It comes from your autonomic nervous system disautonomia. So when we have patients with disautonomia, they might suffer from POTS as well. These are the patients that when they get up quickly, get very light headed and might get dizzy and have some balance problems.
So you go usually from a lying position to a standing or a seated position to a standing If you go too quickly, then you get all lightheaded, if you get thrown off. That comes from pots. What's supposed to happen is that when you go from the lying position to the standing position, your
blood pressure is supposed to increase. If the blood pressure does not increase to squeeze that blood and oxygen into the brain to give you that odd energy that you need, then the heart says, oh, the blood pressure didn't increase, I a better increase my pulse, my heart rate. It's called tach acardia increase heart rate, and that's going to happen when you go from a lying to standing. If you have pots, your heart rate is going to
increase, usually over twenty beats per minute. That's to be diagnosed with pots. If you do have pots, then you have an issue in your autonomic nervous system. So just like you can exercise muscles, you can exercise your autonomic nervous system. But we have to figure out is that the cause of your dizziness. If that's the cause, then the treatment is pretty cool.
One of the treatments we do is where I have this table that is flat down and then I press this hydraulic button and it lifts you up a little bit. And then I do a little brain exercise and I put your pulse socks on, so I'm measuring your heart rate the whole time, making sure it doesn't go up twenty beats per minute. And I do this at different levels, and it might take six, seven, eight different levels, because I might have to do it really slow to make sure that heart rate doesn't
increase. But as I get the brain better through or plasticity, which is rewiring the brain and helping with the autonomic nervous system, we can actually speed up the table so we can go faster, and then the POTS symptoms decrease where you don't get dizzy when you get up from lying down. We might have to do these therapies over and over and over again for tempt to work.
They're usually not just going to work in one therapy sashion, but if we do it over and over again, we're going to create change very quickly. That's for dizziness that can come from POTS, which is an autonomic nervous system dysfunction. Another CAUD cause of dizziness is called BPPV benign paroximal position overtigo, so What this is is where you have crystals in the ear b PPV crystals in the inner ear. These crystals are in canals that they shouldn't be
and it makes you feel like you're moving when you're not. That's called vertigo, where you feel like you're spinning. With BPPV, you're going to get the spinning sensation when you're in bed, lying down, or turning over, moving your head in different positions. The most common is turning over in bed. So if you are on one side and you turn over quick to the other side and all of a sudden you get vertigo where the whole room is
spinning, then you most likely have BPPV. That's about twenty five percent of my vertigo patients that I see. It's a big portion of them. And the good news is it's the easiest one to fix. You could fix it in just a few minutes by doing this Epply's repositioning maneuver and you just come into the office and I tilt your head in these certain angles to pour the crystals out of the area whether they're not going to cause disruption anymore. So
that's moving the crystals. It's very easy to fix if done properly this maneuver, and it's literally only one visit. That one is the easiest one to fix. It only takes one visit and it only takes a few minutes. But it's really intense when it happens. So if you ever have that, or know anyone who has that, just tell them to call my office and we could definitely fix that really quickly. There's six different canals. We just got to figure out which canal the crystals are in and then pour it out
of the canal. That's all pretty simple, BPPV. That's another cause of dis Okay, another cause of dizziness comes from an area of your brain called your cerebellum. Your cerebellum has more neurons in it than the whole brain put together. It means little brain. It kind of sits in the back of your head there. It's a tiny little pocket, but it's really complicated.
And that's the area the brain that gets affected when you drink alcohol. So right, so, people when they drink alcohol, they get dizzy, get the spins, they can't walk, they slur their speech. So if your cerebellum is not working properly, that can cause dizziness as well, and there's ways to exercise the cerebellum. So I might even spend people in a rotational chair that I have to stimulate the cerebellum. Or do these infinity symbols in the air on one side, or I might have them. One could try
this at home. Take your left leg, draw clockwise circles, and then at the same time, with your left hand draw the number six, so it's clockwise circles with your left leg in the air, and then draw the number six in the air with your left hand. Make sure you don't reverse it. So that's going to help an exercise to stimulate that cerebellum on the left side. It's right on the right side. If one side is a
lot harder than you do extra reps on that weaker side. All right, that's for the cerebellum, and that helps with certain types of dizzy days. We're going to continue this conversation when we come back from the break. Don't miss Boost your Brain Power with doctor Eric Kaplan every Saturday from two pm to

Welcome back to boost your brain power. I am your host, Doctor Eric Kaplan. We're talking about the different types of dizziness. You could get it from me years syndrome. You
could get it from BPPV crystals in the inner ear. You could get it from the cerebellum. So that's people who you know. We said before the break, we're talking about how alcohol affects that area, the cerebellum. So when the police do those tests to check your sobriety, that's checking your cerebellum.
And we do that in the office. Actually, so oh look over here, follow my finger, and I'm looking for anastagmus if you're having a stagmus that might be the cause of your dizziness, might be influenced by your cerebellum or we have you close your eyes and touch your finger to your nose, so you could try that at home. Close your eyes slowly, you touch your finger to your nose. If you miss your nose, you might have a problem in your cerebellum. Or balancing on one leg. You can't
stand on one leg, you might have a problem in your cerebellum. If you can't balance on your right leg, you probably have a problem with your rights the cerebellum. And if you can't balance on your left leg, you probably have a problem with your left cerebellum. If you can't touch your right hand to your nose properly and you can't stand on your right leg, that increases your chances of a cerebellar problem. And then if you have the stagmust
also that also increases. So you kind of got to do a full neurological evaluation. We can't base it on one test, but we do these tests in the office, these full neurological evaluation to come to the root cause of the tonitis or the dizziness. Or headaches or whatever it is. We're gonna go over headaches as well, but we want to do a complete neurologic evaluation.
We want to you know, check your blood pressure and check your oxygen levels and your balance, and your coordination and your hearing, and you know your sensitivities to lights and sounds and movements. So I'm going to do a full neurological evaluation. I have two offices. One office is in New York City in the West Village, Office six, Avenuum Bleaker. And then I have office in Emerson, New Jersey. That's in Bergen County, northern part
of New Jersey. We do these full neurological valuations. We also check for your memory, make sure you don't have any chances of dementia or Alzheimer's. We also check out to make sure your balance is good, that you're not gonna have any falls. We want to prevent that. Even check out your posture, your alignment, listen to your lungs and your heart and your gutse about forty five minutes. It's normally five hundred dollars, but we're gonna do
a special today. If you want a complete neurological evaluation where I'd also do a physical and also even review blood work if you've had that done recently. It's normally five hundred dollars to spend about forty five minutes in my office doing all these tests, but we're gonna do a special for the first seven people
that call. You can get the complete neurological valuation and one on one console with me to tell me about your three and any health concerns that you have, so we could come up with a natural, holistic and integrative way without any drugs or surgery to get you to heal quickest, function best, feel best and live a better quality of life forty five minutes. Normally five hundred dollars, but for the first seven people you can get it for only twenty
one dollars. All you have to do is call or text six four six two to one six seven three eight, or you can email info at Kaplan Brain embody dot com. That's to get a one on one evaluation at one of my offices, or if you're really far, you could do it over zoom as well, and that works out very well. Our patients can do it from their homes and the convenience out of lunch break or something like that. So you could do my New York office, my New Jersey office,
or even over zoom. All you have to do is be one of first seven people to call or text or email and you could get the entire five hundred dollars neurological evaluation for only twenty one dollars. The phone number again is six four six two two one six seven three eight. You can call or text that number if you want to do email you email info at Kaplan, brain, embody dot com. If you want to sign up for both,
you could do that. You could do the twenty one dollar QEG brain mapping and the twenty one dollar one on one neurological evaluation with me at one of my offices for only twenty one dollars. And that's the way we could figure out where's the tonight is coming from, where is the dizziness coming from, where's the headaches coming from? So with dizziness, you know there's lots of different causes, so we really have to do a thorough evaluation to figure out
where that coming from. Sometimes it is a autonomic dysfunction, with autoimmune dysfunction meaning because the brain's overactive, so is the immune system, and you can even have viruses and bacteria that start to leave the gut area because of all the inflammation and exit into the bloodstream. And if there's too much inflammation in the brain, you can also get a leaky brain and these viruses and bacteria can start to attack your brain. That can cause dizziness. Really bad case
scenario is also a tumor. There's something called an acoustic neuroma for that. We need imaging to see if we have that, but that can cause dizziness.
You know, stress people in stress mode can cause dizziness. A big one that we see, especially after concussions head injuries are the eyes where the eyes are messed up, maybe like one eyes a little bit higher than the other, or the eyes don't converge properly, they don't come in together, or they don't diverge properly, or one pupil size is bigger than the other, or they don't follow or track a moving object properly, or they have
difficulty reading, or they can't move their eyes fast, or they can't their head and eyes don't move together. So when they're in a car or something, or on a boat or that's called Maldday debarkment syndrome. So that's another cause of dizziness. It's called seasickness where you know the environments moving, but then the eyes and the head can compensate properly the Malday debarkment syndrome. So
we have to do a lot of eye exercises for these people. So concussion people, yes, they need a lot of eye exercises, but they need to do the appropriate eye exercises. So the best test for that is called a V So if you've ever had a concussion and I don't care even the concussion was twenty years ago, that could affect your dizziness today, that could affect your headaches today, that can affect your tonight is today. I'm a co author on a book. It's called Concussion Discussions. You can get it
on Concussion discussions dot com. But I talk about all the research is showing that you can hit your head and have symptoms years later. It doesn't always have to be right away, but a lot of patients we see have concussion traumatic brain injury and they have dizziness, and we have to do these eye exercises. There's lots of eye exercise, there's pursuits and cause and optokinetics and vestibular ocular exercises. So there's all these exercises convergence, brock strings, divergence
that we could do to strengthen the weak eye muscles. Just like you have muscles, you know, like your biceps and your triceps in your arms, your eyes have muscles. Each eye has six different eye muscles, and with concussion and dizziness and headaches, a lot of times one of these eye muscles is weak. So what we have to do are certain eye exercises, but very carefully because if you overdo the eye exercise, it could make you worse,
so we have to be very careful. But we could do eye exercises to strengthen these eye muscles, to get them balanced from left and right, to reduce symptoms of concussion traumatic brain injury and get rid of headaches and dizziness and these balanced problems and tonitis and these weird feelings there. Right, But
we have to figure out what's wrong with the eyes. So the best test for that is called a v and video and astography, and we do all these different eye tests and see how you spond to light and head movements and fast eye movements and slow eye movements and movements left and movements right, and movements up and movements down, and so we do all these different eye movements
to evaluate the different muscles and the different areas of the brain. That test is also normally five hundred dollars, but for the first seven people that sign up for that, you could get that as well for only twenty one dollars. So you could do the VNGIE test for twenty one dollars. You could do the one on one neurologic evaluation for twenty one dollars, and you could
do the q EG brain mapping for only twenty one dollars. Or you could just pick and choose one or the other and just kind of see, you know one if one of them is more specific to what you have going on, we could do that as well. But if you want to do all three, all you got to be is one of the first seven people. So I'll give you the number again six four six two two one six seven three eight. You can call or text or email info at Kaplan brain embody
dot com. That's going to help with the dizziness. So we got to figure out where that's coming from. Sometimes you have multiple sclerosis. That eye tests will tell us about what's called internuclear ophthalma pollagia. That's when one eye will go one direction and then the other eye gets stuck. All right, So that's a really good test for that. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease. That's where the body's attacking the brain. But that can cause headaches,
tonitis, dizziness. Different autoimmune diseases include hashimotos which is the thyroid ciliac which is in the gut. Psoriasis can affect the hair or the skin. Rheumatoid arthritis can affect the joints, show brains, can be dry eyes, dry mouth, dry skin. So there's all different types lupus, you get this butterfly rash on your face, all different types of autoimmune disease, fibromyality jack
causes a lot of pain. But with the autoimmune disease, cure is the diet and the biggest foods to avoid from autimmune disease are dairy, gluten, corn, soy, coffee. Those are the big autoimmune foods to avoid if
you have any of those conditions. More when we come back from the break, if you want to improve your brain function, help with memory, focus, sleep, digestion, energy, depression, anxiety, dizziness, balance, vision, headaches, brain fog, weight loss, or simply want to maximize your human potential and prevent future diseases that this is the show for you.
Don't miss Boost your brain power with doctor Eric Kaplan and you will learn natural, integrative, and holistic approaches to modern day medical problems such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's stroke, autism, add concussion, autoimmune diseases, insomnia, fibromyalgia, vertigo, migraines, for posture pain, TBI, skin and digestive problems.
Doctor Kaplan is most famous for getting to the root cause of a wide variety of brain and health conditions, rather than treating symptoms with traditional medicines and risky surgeries. To contact to doctor Kaplan, you can call his team at two O one two six one two one five zero or visit his website at kaplan DC dot com. Welcome back to boost your brain power. I'm your host, doctor Eric Kaplan. We were just talking about dizziness and how to get
to the root cause of the dizziness. Once you get to the root cause, you could figure out what to do. You know, it's the crystals we just do that repositioning maneuver. If it's the autonomic and the pots, we do that thing with a table where we go from lying and slowly raise it doing brain exercises. If it's the eyes, we might have to do some eye exercises. If it's the wax, we might have to take out the wax. If it's blood flow, we might have to increase blood flow.
It's autoimmune disease, we might have to change your diet. But we have to do the test to figure out where the dizziness is coming from. Same thing with headaches. There's all different types of headaches. You can have a sinus headache. There's four sinus points. You got. Right above your eyebrows are two points, and then right below your eyes to the side of your nose are another two points. So if you have sinus issues, we might have to do like a little massage. We might have to do some
drainage. We might have to do some homeopathic remedies. For allergies, we might have to do a Nettie pot. We got to figure out the best way to figure how to reduce these sinus build ups. Okay, but it's usually pretty easy to do in a natural way, you might have a tension headache. At tension headache is usually a band around your head. That's gonna
be when you're in stress mode. That's gonna be you know what we were talking about with the cortisol, the sympathetic nervous system, the increase in blood pressure. You're always worried and stressed and anxious, so that we have to calm down the nervous system by doing functional neurologic exercises through a process called neuroplasticity and rewire your brain to get you out of stress mode. That is for
tension headaches. Then you can have stress headaches that's going to be more in the back where you're gonna pull, Like the muscles are really tight, so because you're all stressed out, your shoulders are tie. You carry all this tension pulls on the back of your head and oxyput in skull and creating that stress headache there as well. Then you have cluster headaches. Cluster headaches where it's like every single day for days and weeks and over, this scruciating headache.
That's for people who you know, partake in a lot of these bad things like smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol and so many prescription medications and drugs and all this abuse. They're gonna get cluster headaches, so that you got to change your bad habits. You might have to you know, quit smoking or quit alcohol, or quit drugs or cut down on some of your prescriptions. He's get these cluster headaches. Those are really bad. Your body's just saying,
I gotta get rid of all these toxins are overloading me. You've got to stop, but you're not giving me any time to detox and get rid of this bad stuff. Those are the cluster headaches, so's you got to do that at home. Those are tough, but they're really painful. So sometimes if you go through those cluster headaches, that motivates you to get on track there. Then you get a migraine headaches. Migrain headaches are that sharp pain behind the back of your eye. Those are really intense. You become
light sensitive, you become noise sensitive. If you want to just go in a dark room and you know, go into the covers and not do anything and not speak to anybody and take away all stimulation, you might get nauseous, you might vomit, even if it's really intense. That's a migraine usually on one side of the head, usually will only curve for a day,
twenty four hours or something like that. Those are really intention You might get an aura like some sort of light flashing before or some sort of stimulation or visual stuff thing that's letting you know up this migraine's about to come. For that, we have this really cool technique, insulfation technique where I blow air into the ear. This thing's amazing. People come in ten out of ten headache, light sensitivity, nausea, they need sunglasses, ear plugs, they're
throwing up in the bathroom. And we do this technique where we blow this little air into the side of the migraine headache, and within a minute it gets rid of a migraine on the spot. Now it has to be during a migraine. It's not a preventative measure. A preventative measure. We got to do a lot of things. But if you have a migraine on the spot, you just call one of my offices. You just come right in.
Literally takes a minute. We get rid of migraine on the spot, so you don't have to suffer for twenty four hours in a dark room not being able to do anything throwing up nauseous, light sensitivity, sound sensitivity. Those can ruin your life. People gotta call out work and they can't do anything. So you know, light, we just took to where of those on the spot, and you might have to suffer getting to the office, but it's worth it because then you have the rest of your day degree.
Right, So those are migraine headaches. So for those, we got to get to the root cause. We usually have to do a lot of things to get to the root cause. Might have to increase water intake, improve nutrition, or to stress, get better physical exercise. Look at your blood work. See if you're anemic. You know, we gotta do a whole protocol. Look at the thyroid. You know, we gotta for the migraines. We usually got to do a whole overall of your whole health. But
it all can be done. So that's why these evaluations are so important to get to the root cause of the problems rather than just treating with botox. And you know, well these harmful medications that you know cost stuff you don't even realize internally, So you know, don't come to me if you just want the prescription for the headache medication or the tonighties or the dizziness medication. I am not the doctor that writes prescription medication. I am a functional neurologist,
very different than a medical neurologist. So I'm not going to do drugs. I'm not going to do surgeries. But I'm going to come up with natural, holistic, and integrative ways to come up with your problems and the best solutions, all right. So it's not about just diagnosing where the problems are coming from with all the tests, but the most important thing is coming
up with the solutions. So the test just tell us what's wrong, but the best part is the solutions, and they're usually pretty easy and simple and stuff that you could do at home. But you just got to be committed to working on yourself. You know, the human body is amazing at healing on its own, but you just have to put in the work and effort. So nobody's going to do it for you. So you might have to change some bad habits, and you know, you might have to do some
hard work to get results. But if you really want to fix all these issues, use you have to put in the work, all right, And it's better to prevent big problems. So sometimes when you get symptoms like Toniti's or headaches or dizziness, it's the brain telling you, hey, we got to fix these health problems. So if you're ready to take control of your health, you want to sign up for the qEEG brain mapping that's going to tell us, hey, do you have anxiety? Do you have sleeping problems?
Do you have memory problems? You have white matter inflammation in the brain. Do you have intestinal inflammation? Do you have a thyroid problem. Do you have a problem with your neurotransmitters dopamine, acetocline nor upper nephrin. Do you have troubles with focus? Do you have troubles with attention? Do you have troubles shifting tasks? Do you have confusion? Do you have brain fund do you have sleep deprivation? Do you have insomn do you have depression?
Anxiety? It literally tells us all these things. That test is normally five hundred dollars, but if you sign up one of the first time people, you can get it for twenty one dollars. Then you should also sign up for the one on one neurologic evaluation with me, we're gonna check your blood pressure, your pulse, Listen to your heart, your gut, your lungs. I'm gonna check out your balance, your eyes, your ears, your reflexes, your posture, your alignment, your memory. That's forty five minutes
doing all these different tests. That's also normally five hundred dollars, but if you're one of those first seven people, you could get that test as well for only twenty one dollars. The third test is the QE, sorry is the VNG. That's the eye test. So this is really good people with imbalances of the left and the right brain because it'll tell us as one side working more than the other. So people with you know, bipolarmatic to press
and when there's these obviously sometimes up and sometimes low. The VNG is the best test for that. If you've had a traumatic brain injury, concussion, any eye problems, any of the stuff we told Boke about today, the v is the best test. That's the eye test. That's also normally five hundred dollars, but if you're one of the first seven people, you could get that for only twenty one dollars as well. You can sign up for all three. The other thing we're doing is a seminar series. We have
different seminar series coming up. There's four different ones. The next one is on April twenty six, that's on the natural Ways to reduce inflammation. The one in May, the last week in May thirty first, it's always the last week, the last Wednesday of each week. So the one in May
is going to be on mastering nutrition. All the healthy foods that you need to eat, all the bad foods you need to avoid, what to look out for, how to read the labels properly, you know what type of diet and one to eat and how to eat, and how to combine different foods, and one to drink water and reference to eat. So there's a lot of different nutritional components. That's the one in May. In June it's
gonna be memory brain exercises. You're gonna learn neurologic exercises that you could do to boost your brain power and improve memory, focus for add adhd, OCD, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's stroke, all these brain exercises to make your brain stronger and prevent future problems. And the one in July is a boost your Brain Power boot camp where we're gonna go everything depression and anxiety. We're gonna go over memory and focus, we're gonna go over energy and sleep and
oxygen. And we're gonna recover everything with the nutrition and the inflammation and all the brain exercise. So it's gonna get all all in one, all right. Each seminar is one hundred dollars. It's really good. You have food there, we have drinks, we have massages, all included in the price, so it's not just for the seminar, but you get free massage, you're gonna get free cold laser therapy, free food, free drinks, free snacks, free giveaways, free books, you know, all these different stuff.
It's all for one hundred dollars each. But we're going to do a special for the first seven people that a call or email. You can get all four seminars for only forty nine dollars, which includes all those free stuff. Pretty cool. So it's basically only twelve dollars a seminar. You just gotta be one of the first seven people to call, and you can sign up for all three evaluations plus the Boost your Brainpower Seminar series.
