I'm your host, doctor Eric Kaplan. We're gonna talk about how to improve your brain function. One of the things that's super important to understand is that most of the brain's function is happening automatically. You ever hear the expression, oh, we only use ten percent of our brain.
However, ten percent is what we're aware of, meaning that's the voluntary part. You know, when you want to go drink a glass of water, you voluntarily say, Okay, I'm gonna, you know, go to the fridge. I'm gonna get the water. I'm gonna get a glass. I'm gonna take my hand and pour the water. I'm gonna sip it,
it's gonna swallow. You're consciously thinking of all these things, but ninety percent of your body's action that's occurring is happening automatically, just keeping you upright and stabilizing, moving your hips and your legs, getting your heart to beat, your lungs to breathe. Everything that's happening you don't even think about it. It's automatic. That's ninety percent of your brain's bodies function. Most of it
is coming from the autonomic nervous system, the autoonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system controls everything, the eyes, the ears, the thyroid, your lungs, your heart, your liver, your spleen, your pancreas, your kidney, your adrenal gland, your esophagus, your stomach, your intestines, your bladder, your prostate, your uterus, your testes are all controlled by your autonomic nervous system. So my suggestion is to take care of your autonomic
nervous system so all those body parts function and optimal levels. If you're having breathing difficulties, if you have COPD, if you have asthma, if you have bronchitis, if you get pneumonia, you get sick easily, you get a lot of congestion, you're always coughing, there's an issue in your lungs. Most of the time it's coming from your autonomic nervous system. I can't tell you how many people I evaluate and their breathing is off. You're supposed
to have a one to two ratio of your inhale to exhale. That's most appropriate breathing. The majority of patients that come into my office with these neurals logical problems are breathing at a one to one ratio. And what that means is you're not getting rid of the carbon dioxide and you're not maximizing your oxygen intake. The brain needs more oxygen and the body needs to get rid of that carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide creates an acidic environment, and disease loves a
cidic environment. I don't care if it's diabetes, heart disease, obesity, cancer, they love an acidic environment. So you've got to get rid of your carbon dioxide. So most people tell you to focus on the inhale. It's much better to focus on your exhale. You want to excel really long. That relaxes your nervous system, and that gives all the trees and the plants and the bushes and the fruits and the veggies all the carbon dioxide they
need to thrive. We have a symbiotic relationship in nature. We have animals take in the oxygen from the plants, and the animals exhale the carbon dioxide, which is bad for us, but very good for the plants. So start focusing on your exhale. That is going to give you your biggest bang for your buck. But it's controlled by your autonomic nervous system. So in the beginning, if your lungs aren't working properly, you might have to do
some breathing exercises. Inhale for four seconds, hold your breath for seven seconds, exhale for eight seconds. That's one of the best breathing exercises you could do. Or another good one is you take a big breath in and then towards the very end of the breath at the inhale, you take another big breath even deeper. So you like this, so you take a big breath and then another big breath and then you slowly exhale. That's gonna be good
breathing exercise. Make sure you get plants, snake plants, spider plants, money plants, alobara plants. Fill your apartment or house or home with lots of plants. If you can be around trees, make sure your house or home or apartment is around trees and nature. And you know or even the ocean is great, and you know salt water air is amazing, and the salt water almost cures everything. You know, if I have a beasting, I go into the ocean and it helps it. If I have poison,
ivy goes into the ocean, it helps it. Somebody has exema, go into the ocean, it helps it, scar lesions, everything. The salt water is really good for healing your body. If the nail problem, your nails aren't looking too good, put your feet in that ocean water. There's no better cure than nature. Use the ocean water, use the sand, use the trees, eat those fruits and veggies. The earth is made to give you health, and outside the earth we have the sun. So just
use nature. Stop depending on supplements, vitamins, herbs, medicine, drugs, coffee, alcohol, cigarettes, Stop depending on all these things to feel better. Start using your own body potential. You have a pharmacy in your muscles. You start lifting weights, that's going to increase brain function. You start exercising, increase brain function. Start socializing, increase brain function. You start helping other people and doing charity work. That increases brain function. If
you spend time with your friends and family, that increases brain function. Grandparents who spend more time with their grandkids are less likely to develop to mention Alzheimer's, and grandkids who spend more time with grandparents are less likely to have anxiety depression troubles with focused add ADHD. It's another symbiotic relationship, and the parents get benefit too because they get a little break from the kids. So spend
time with your grandkids. Spend time with your grandparents. Make it happen if you want to boost your brain power. If you want to boost your brain power, you gotta drink water. Supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces. If you weigh one hundred and fifty pounds, you need seventy five ounces of water a day. You want to drink it on an empty stomach. Water is best absorbed on an empty stomach. Stop drinking water with your
meals or after your meals. Only until your food's fully digested can you drink water. So the best time is right when you wake up in the morning and a half hour before each meal, and then right before bed. That's when your stomach is most empty. Also add salt because the salt helps to bring in the water. So when you drink your water, put a pinch of Pinkimelaine salt or Celtic salt, which has a lot of minerals which is going to help to bring the water and get absorbed in your body. Just
a pinch, a little bit. You don't want to taste the salt, but you want to have enough for it to create this where the water gets drawn into the cells. You don't want to waste your water by drinking acidic water. You want the water to be useful and drink alkaline water. And the way to do that is to take a pinch of pink melaine salt or Celtic salt. Be careful with all these things that you're gonna see at the supermarket. Oh, electrolyte water, Oh you know, alkaline water. You
know most of those waters are crap. Get a filter at home and put your salt in it manually. That's the best way to do it. Squeeze some lemons, some lime, give it some flavor. Squeeze some oranges, Put some cucumbers in there, pineapple, whatever you want if you want to give it some flavor, natural flavor. But just get that salt in there. It's called solay water, pink kimelane salt, and your filtered water from
home. You can get reverse osmosis is pretty good, but you want to get the ones that they see them for your shower too, because you cansorb through your skin as well. Getting back to the autonomic nervous system right that controls everything controls your thyroid. Can tell you how many my pictures have thyroid problems. But guess what. You don't always need to use medicine to help with your thyroid. It always depends on what the thyroid cause, and the
way to figure that is to do blood work. So what you have to do is do a whole thyroid panel, including antibodies. Most thyroid problems actually aren't a primary thyroid problem, but they're an autoimmune disease that's called hashimotos or Graves disease. But very few people are actually checking for these antibodies. So we actually have to do blood work and check for these thyroid antibodies, peroxidase, the TPO, so you know, there's lots of different thyroid antibodies tests.
We can't just check for TSH or T four. You know, we got to do a whole panel. There's about ten thyroid tests that need to be done, and then we can figure it out. Hey, is it coming from the petuitary. Sometimes it's not coming from the thyroid, but it's coming from the petuitary, and then that's a different type of therapy that you would need to do. Okay, the thyroid is not so simple. It's not just underactive thyroid, overactive thyroid. It's not that simple. It's a
little bit more complicated. Do we have a hashimotos, do we have a graves? Do we have a pituitary issue? Is it autoimmune disease? Is it a primary thyroid, is it a secondary thyroid? Is it hyperth thyroid? Is it hypothyroid? So we need to do a thorough analysis of the blood work to figure that out, because each one of those thyroid problems requires a different type of treatment. It might be brain rehab, it might be herbal remedies, it might be UH dietary changes, nutritional habits. So it
might be a different type of treatment depending on what the cause is. But that's controlled by your autonomic nervousnes system with your HPA access, your hypothalamo put tuitari adrenal access, and people with this problem, they're going to be stressed out and anxiety. They can get insomnia, they could get panicked, they could feel heart palpitations. They can also get poor circulation. Their hands, their feet get cold easily. They're always cold, or they're always hot,
or they're always sweating, or they don't sweat enough. They don't have a good communication. Are they hungry? Are they not hungry? Are they thirsty? Are they not thirsty? It's the regulatory centers in this hypothalmus. Are we hot? Are we cold? Are we hungry? Are we thirsty? Are we up? Are we tired? Those systems are getting messed up. They're tired during the day, they're up during the night. You know, you're hungry at night when you shouldn't be. You're not hungry in the morning
when you should be. So everything's thrown off with this HPA access. So what we'd have to do is figure out where the breakdown is. And all my solutions are natural and holistic. nervous system. The automatic nervous system, it controls everything that you don't think about, for example, your heart right do you have to think, Oh, I gotta beat my heart fast, or I gotta slow it down, or I gotta increase my blood pressure, I gotta open up the blood vessels. You don't think of any of that stuff. Your body doing it automatically. But you want to make sure the part of your brain that's responsible for
controlling your heart rate and your blood pressure is functioning optimal levels. Because you have troubles with your autonomic nervous system that could lead to high blood pressure, that could lead to arrhythmias, that could lead to heart palpitations that could lead to poor circulation and blood flow, called your cardiovascular system hypertension. You don't want to get put on all these medications blood thinners and high blood pressure medication.
Those are just trying to treat the symptoms rather than get to the root cause of the problem. What if the root cause of your high blood pressure sure is that your nervous system is overactive and you're in stress mode. What we call the fight or flight mode. It's this fear mode. If you're in fear mode, then your blood pressure is going to be high. Even
when you're not doing anything that's stressful. It's normal for your blood pressure to raise if you're you know, someone's chasing you in the street trying to mug you, or you're in a fight, or you're playing a football game and you're in a sport or boxing or karate or something like that. So when you're doing something intense, you got to run and catch the bus. You have to. You're trying to beat somebody in a race. Okay, we
want that heartgoing, that blood pressure, we got that blood pumping. But most of the day you should be in a relaxed state. Your blood pressure should be calm, your post right should be reduced. You only want that active. If you're really stressed out or active or doing something physical other than that, it's a problem. Then you're gonna wear out your heart. You're gonna overuse it, and then you get heart attacks and strokes and stuff like
that. Don't wait till you get a heart attack or stroke to start working on calming down your nervous system. The time is now. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. So how are you gonna reduce your blood pressure now without medication? They're very simple answers. Maybe you gotta start eating healthier. Maybe you gotta eat more fruits and vegetables, get the colors
of the rainbow every single day. Maybe you have to eat less of the white food, the sugar, the milk, the bread, the pasta, the potatoes, the rice, the fried food, the pizza, the ice cream, the desserts, the cakes, the pastries, the muffins, the bagels, the suns, the cereals, the old meals, the crackers. Stop all the white foods, start eating the colorful foods. Maybe you got
to exercise more. Start off with this little thing. I don't care if you just start off running to the end of the block, and then the next day you run to the end of the block and then walk a block, and the day after that you run a block. Walk a block. Run a block takes you five minutes, super simple. First day is one minute, second day is three minutes, third day is five minutes. If you do it that way, it becomes easier. It's not much a challenge.
Everybody could do one minute. You just gotta do it. Just run to that end of the block and come right back. It's one minute of exercise. But get in the habit of doing every day. Every morning. You want to exercise in the morning with testosterone its highest, cortisols highest, the sun's coming up. Boost your energy. Stop drinking that cup of coffee on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. It's one of the worst things you could do for you. That's gonna increase your blood pressure, your
pulse rate. That's gonna create anxiety, sleeping difficulties, energy problems, headaches. Don't do what everybody else does. If you do what everybody else does, you're gonna end up like everybody else. Don't be like the ninety nine percent of the Americans. You have to be that one percent that exercises in the morning, that doesn't drink coffee, that gets sunlight, drinks water, eats the colors of the rainbow, stays away from the white foods, goes
to bed early, helps other people, stays up the electronics. You could do these easy things just a little bit of a time. Baby steps, atomic hobbits. You just take these micro steps and they start to build over and over and over again. Stuff's not that hard to do. You can wake up, drink a glass of water, and run to the end of the block in five minutes. But you gotta do it every day, super important. Every day good habits twenty one straight days will start to rewire your
brain. But if you want to heal your heart, and you want to prevent high blood pressure, and you want to get off that medicine, you gotta do the work. And the worst thing is doing too much stress at night. And what's stressful watching the news, listening to the news, reading
the newspaper. Don't do that at night, watching these TV shows where you're you know, people are shooting each other or zombies are eating you, or people are you know, making drugs and laboratories and police are finding you know, rapists and murderers, and you know, we're going back to the old medieval wars. And you know this is what people watch. It's all stressful, blood, gore, murder, killing. You're watching this right before bed.
It's not smart. It's gonna create stress mode, high blood pressure, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, muscle tension, neck pain, back pain. Stop putting yourself in stress mode voluntarily. You don't have to do that. You gotta unplug it night. If you're If it's at night and your lights are on, the TV's on, the computer's on, you're looking at your cell phone, looking at the iPad. You're stimulating cortisol, the stress hormone
that's gonna mess with your autonomic nervous system at nighttime. Dim the lights, turn off the TV, turn off your computer. If you need to do computer work, do it earlier in the day. If you want to scroll through your Facebook or social media, your text message, your emails, do
it when the sun is out. During nighttime. You have to relax your brain, so start reading a book, start listening to music, start playing a board game, start writing in a journal, Start giving gratitude, Start talking to your spouse or family members, walk the dog, clean your closet, organize your life. Be productive. Do something healthy. Take a dance class, take a music lesson, join a book club, do something social. Play poker with your friends, join a tennis club, do something fun,
social, active, get out of the house. You want to improve your brain function, then start unplugging at night. Start turning off those electronics. It's too stimulating. You should also not eat at night. We eat for energy. Why are you gonna eat at night when you're trying to relax. You need to eat during the day when you need energy. You eat like a king for breakfast, a prince for lunch, and a pauper for dinner. So you should eat very little at night. And you want to
stop eating four hours before bedtime. So the ideal way to do that is to eat from ten am to six pm and sleep from ten pm to six a m. That's the only thing you did. Your blood pressure would go down, your energy would improve, you would lose weight. There's so many easy ways to lose weight. People just don't do the work. Just stop eating at night. You would lose weight. Go to bed at ten o'clock you will lose weight without changing anything else. It's so easy to stop eating
at night. Your life will change. In the beginning, it might be hard because you might get hungry. When you get hungry, you just drink the water, like I said, on an empty stomach, that's when you drink your water. But if you're doing something to distract yourself, then you won't be as hungry. You're just sitting on the couch watching TV and you see the people on TV eating the commercials are getting your salvary glands stimulated.
Yeah, you're gonna eat food, all right, So unplug at night and don't eat at night, and that's past six pm, and go to bed at ten pm. This is doctor Eric Kplan. This autonomic nervous system controls your liver, which has to detoxify. Now, let's say you're exposed to mold, or
you have heavy metal poisoning, or there's some allergies. Right, everybody's exposed to mold, everybody's exposed to heavy metals. Everybody is exposed to these allergies, whether it's dust or dog hair or pollen. We're all exposed to this stuff. But how come some people get affected by the mold? How come some people get affected by the heavy metals? How come some people get affected by the allergies. It's because their systems aren't working properly. It's not the
environment, it's your inside. It could be your livers not detoxifying properly because your autonomic nervous system isn't working at optimal levels. So, if you have allergies, mold exposure, heavy metal poisoning, there's a problem with your systems. It's overloaded. The task is too hard to handle. Your body cannot get rid of it. And what you do, oh, let me do this detox. You can't heal from the outside. People will drink celery juice,
right, so that might help a little bit. But what happens when you get more heavy metals. Now you gotta drink more celery juice, and then you get more mold, and then you gotta do this mold protocol, and then you get more allergies. Now you take the allergy medication. So it's not a permanent solution. We don't want to treat the symptoms with celery juice, with herbs, with vitamins, with medication. We want to find
out why it's happening. Yes, obviously you don't want to have mold in your house, Okay, So if your basement was flooded, Yeah, you might have some mold and you might have to remedy that. Okay. But there's gonna be mold everywhere, and most of it you can't see. It's microscopic. There's always gonna be mold in your shower, in your bathroom and the basement. Anywhere there's moisture, there's mold. But you need to get
your body stronger so it can handle the mold. That's where everybody's getting it wrong. You have to handle it better. So if your inside systems are working better, your livers detoxing, your stomach, acid's killing off the bed stuff, you're pooping it out, you're peeing it out, you're sneezing it out, you're coughing it out. Your boggers come out, your earwax comes out, your tears come out, your sweat comes out. Your body is
amazing at detoxifying when it's working properly. But what if it's not working properly. What if your autonomic nervous system isn't functioning optimal levels. Now you can't handle the allergies, and you can't handle the mold or the dust or the pollen, or you can't handle the heavy metals the mercury in the fish, or the stuff that's in the medication, or the lead that's in the water. If your body gets stronger, then it can handle the workload. We
don't want to voluntarily put heavy metals into our bodies. So if we're worried about eating too much fish, it's better to have the smaller fish. They have less mercury. It's better to get a good water filter that will filter out the lead or the chlorine or the and they even have a fluorine in the water. You want to get that out. That's a neurotoxin. You don't want to give your body too much to handle. But there's toxins everywhere. You know, when a baby's born, they're born with two hundred and
ninety chemicals already exposed. That's in utero. I mean, we're every day more and more chemicals and it's getting worse and worse. So reduce your chemical exposure, but make your body stronger so they can handle it. And how do you make your body stronger, You have to rewire your autonomic nervous system. Through a process called neuroplasticity. You can actually strengthen your autonomic nervous system. Just like you could go to the gym and strengthen a muscle. You
can strengthen your nervous system and your brain by doing neurologic exercises. They might be eye exercises, or they might be different lights or sounds or smells, or different coordination or joint movements, or memory exercises, or balance exercises or breathing exercises, or you might have to do coordination exercises. Your brain can be strengthened. You can even do stuff with infrared and cold laser therapy and
hyperbaric oxygen chambers and neurofeedback machines. And there's so much cool technology and equipment out there that can stimulate your brain in a natural way without any drugs or surgery. And we do these things at our offices. We have two offices, one in New Jersey and Emerson and Bergen County, and then we have one in Manhattan in New York City in the West Village where we do these processes called neuroplasticity. So I'm a functional neurologist, which is very different than
a medical neurologist. So right, I said, don't come to me if you want the medicine. So, if you have headaches, I'm not going to write you a prescription for headache medication. If you have anxiety, I'm not going to write you a prescription for anxiety medication. If you have sleeping difficulties, I'm not going to write you a prescription for sleeping pills. I
don't write prescriptions for antibiotics and steroids. I'm not giving you pread in his zone I'm not trying to hide your problem and cover up symptoms with a band aid of medication. But my job and what my staff and team does at Caplin Brain and Body is get to the root cause of the problem. But how are you're going to know where the problems coming from? The best way to determine where the problem is is through a qEEG brain mapping. This is
a neurologic evaluation that has no radiation. You don't have to take any contrast fluid, you don't have to sit in some small claustrophobic tube. It's super quick, only takes about ten to twenty minutes to perform. All you have to do is where this little cap. It looks like a swimmer's cap, but it's got electrodes attached to it, and it measures all your brain ways, which is your alpha brain waves and your beta and your theta and your
delta. Alpha brain waves are how our brain is pretty much most of the day. Now it is probably right now. The beta bain waves, those beta brain waves, those are when you really got focused and you gotta think, and you're reading a book, or you're taking a test, or you're giving a speech, When you really got to focus, you got a big project at work, that's when your beta bain waves kick in. Then you have your theta brain waves, your theta brain waves. That's when you're daydreaming.
You're just looking out the window, listening to the birds, kind of just in La la land, not really focused or thinking, just kind of daydreaming. That's the Theta brain waves. And the last one is those delta brain waves. That's when we're sleeping, when our brain should be shut off and calm and relaxed, and we get that rest and digest and we get those rims. That's when we're you know, kind of out. The brain's
not active, it doesn't need to do anything. We're sleeping. Now, what's more important than the different types of brain waves is the location of where we find these abnormal brain waves when we do a qEEG brain mapping, So based on the location of the abnormal brain waves, we can determine what areas of the brain are functioning well and which areas of the brain are not functioning well. And it's really cool. It'll tell us do you have anxiety,
do you have depression? Do you have short term memory problems, long term memory problems? Do you have immediate memory problems, working memory problems. Do you have difficulties shifting tasks? Do you have confusion, brain FuG low motivation, poor organization, planning skills, executive functions. Do you have trouble with sensory issues with your eyes or your ears? Ringing in the ears, loaders, headaches, dizziness. Do you have balance problems? Do you have a
thyroid problem in testinal inflammations there heavy metal poisoning. Have you had a concussion. Do you have any anger, aggression, insomnia, sleep deprivation, neurotransmitters, problems with dopamine, aceto coline. listening to oost your brain power. We always want to make sure for our brains to function at highest levels, that our autonomic nervous system is in hip top shape. The better your autonomic function is, the better your health is. So what that means is when your autonomic nervous system is not connecting properly, the neurons aren't firing like they're suppose, it's like the signal is weak,
it's slow. Then what's gonna happen. You're gonna be stuck in what's called the fighter flight mode, which is the stress mode rather than a relaxed rest and digest. So when people have irritobow syndrome, or they have ulcerat of colitis, or they have sebow small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, so they have siliac disease, autoimmune problems, leaky gut, chrome's disease, gas stritis,
acid reflux, gird these are just the labels that they give you. But what's going on is your autonomic nervous system isn't functioning properly, and you're not in this rest and digest So your digestive system isn't functioning properly, whether you're not giving enough stomach acid, or you have bad bacterial growth, or you don't have the proper peristalsis contractions, or your valves, your illeoseekal valve isn't
opening and closing properly, or you're dehydrated and everything's shriveling up like a raisin, or your poop is too hard and it's hard to get through. There's so many different problems in there, but it's the issue is the function. So stop just trying to cover up symptoms. Here, let me take an an acid. That's one of the worst things people do all the time. When you take an an acid, you're literally decreasing your stomach acid. Now
you're not gonna be able to digest food. Your immune system is gonna become weak. Stop hiding symptoms. You don't want an acids because you need stomach acid. That's the most important thing for your immune system and your digestion. Better then ant acid is figuring out why do I have acid reflux? Why do I have gird or gastritis, Why am I backed up? Why do
I have constipation? It's because the systems aren't working properly. So maybe you need stomach acid, maybe you need bacteria, Maybe you need your vegus nerve to work properly. The vegus nerve controls your gut, So if your vegus nerve isn't working, then you're not going to get those systems. Those peristalsis contractions, the opening of the valves. Everything is gonna get stuck. You're
gonna you're not gonna have good bowel movements. If you have good digestion and eat three meals a day, what you should do is have one good big bowl movement every morning. And the bowel movement should be s shaped and it should be partial sinking and partial floating. That is ideal. Anything other than that is not ideal. Okay, then your systems aren't working properly. Okay.
Your food when you sleep at night, that's when it's digesting, breaking it down, and then when you wake up in the morning, that's the time to eliminate everything. Shouldn't be having bowel movements after every meal. That's not good. Shouldn't need four in the morning, that's not good. Should have one big bowl movement every single morning. That's the efficient system. And if it's not happening that way, you gotta work on your vegas nerve.
Maybe you need to exercise your vegus nerve. You could exercise it with gargling really intensely. You could exercise it with the gag reflex. As long as you don't have any history of bolima. There's lots of ways you can exercise it. We've got thousands of ways. But it's not necessarily going to fix
your problem. You know, that could help it along the way. But you might have an issue, let's say in the right vegas nerve versus the left, or you might need help with circulation, or you might have inflammation, or you might need to change your diet, or might need to get better sleep, or you might need to be more hydration. There's a lot of factors that we need to consider. To figure this out, we should
do an evaluation. One of the best tests it's called a VNG video and nostography, and this is a test where we put these goggles on your head. They got infrared cameras and they measure your eye movements. It's also called video oculography, because I said, is literally measuring your different eye moves fast ie mods slow eye moves to the right, to the left with light, without light, with a head turn, all these different things over and over
and over again. We can analyze which areas are overactive and which areas are underactive. You know, if you're overactive, you know your digestive system is gonna be more diarrhea. If it's underactive, it's gonna be more constipation. If your brain is overactive, your heart rate's gonna be really fast, and your blood pressure is gonna be high. But it's underactive, there are gonna be a little bit slower pulse right in the all be lower blood pressure,
and I get lightheaded and dizzy. You know, it all depends. If it's overactive, you might be hyper thyroid. If it's underactive, you might be hype both thyroid. So your brain tells you everything. You know, if it's overactive, you're gonna breathe really fast, short, and shallow. It's underactive, you're gonna send really slow breaths, very bad, not good, not strong. You know. If it's overactive, you're gonna have insomnia.
If it's underactive, you're gonna have fatigue. It's overactive, you're gonna have anxiety. If it's underactive, you're gonna have depression. And some people switch back and forth left and right. But the VNG is the best test for that tells us which areas are overactive, which areas are underactive. And the health plan is going to say, okay, what do I need to do to function better, feel better and live a better life. But it's your responsibility.
So remember I'm not the doctor that's gonna, you know, do the surgeries up. You know you're you have gall stones, let me just take out your gallbladder. No, we don't do that here. We don't just write prescription medication. That's not what we're here. We're not covering up symptoms. The power that made the body heals the body. But what we want to do is unleash the body's potential to function as highest level. You only get
one body, so you got to take care of that body. You got to take care of it better than anything you could ever imagine, because it's for you, it's for your family, it's for your friends, it's for your job, it's for your kids, the next generation. If you're healthy, then you can help others. If you're unhealthy, you're no good to your friend's family or the rest of the world. All right, what do they say on the airplane, Make sure you put your mask on first before
helping others. So it's not selfish to put your health first. So take that time. You need to get these evaluations, all right. The evaluation will get you going.
