There's all different types of headaches. You have migraine headaches. That's usually when you have a sharp pain behind your eye. It's usually one eye. And when you have this sharp pain, there's usually a lot of light sensitivity, some nausea, even vomiting.
It usually lasts all day. You have to go on a dark room, turn off all the lights, all the sounds, hide under the blanket. You don't want any stimulation. That's a real migraine. Now I have this cool instrument. There's only about fifty people in the whole world that do it. And I put this in in your ear and I pump this air into the ear, and within a minute, these migraines are gone. It's a ten out of ten people throwing up in the bathroom, coming in with headphones, sunglasses,
you know, getting it of all stimulation. And within a minute after doing this, migraine treatment. The headaches completely gone ten out of ten to zero out of ten in one minute. This is a miracle. People don't understand how it works. But what's going on is that we're getting more blood and oxygen into the brain. That's the cause of headaches, lack of blood and oxygen into the brain. So does this instrument prevent migraine headaches? No, but it saves you for the rest of the day where you
don't have to hide in a dark room. Now, the key to migraines is prevention and figure out how come you're not getting that blood flow, how come you're not getting that oxygen into the brain. And it could be a lot of different reasons. You might have an issue in your autonomic nervous system where your blood vessels aren't constricting and dilating properly. Right. There might be some trauma. There might be some physical trauma, chemical trauma, even emotional
trauma can affect it. Right. There could be hormonal issues, There could be pathologies. There could be viruses, bacteria, There could be heavy metal poisoning. There could be mold exposure, lime disease, covid, epstein bar i mean, the list goes on and on. There are lots of different causes, but the key is to make sure the mechanisms are working properly. Then if you get the blood and oxygen to get into the brain, that's going to prevent these migraine headaches.
Sometimes it's hormonal, you know, it's related to the cycle, right. Sometimes it's related to the thyroid. We got to be detective, but first figure out what type of headache this is. It Is it a true migrant Maybe it's a tension headache. Attention headache is where you feel pressure around your temples and they might feel like squeezing of the heads. It's a lot of tension. A lot of times it's related
to high blood pressure. It's related to cardiovascular dysfunction. Another headache whi occurs in the back is more stress headache, and that's when the muscles are all stressed at they tighten up and they pull on the back of your skull. That's gonna be more dollar achy. Some people get cluster headaches and they might get it for three weeks in a row. A lot of times these headaches are caused by bad habits such as coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, stuff
like that. Those are cluster headaches. Then you can have sinus headaches headaches. It's usually four spots you got below the eyes and above the eyes. Those are sinus headaches. And we do lots of different stuff that we do little release massage, We might suggest a netty pot. We might have to do some homeopathic remedies for allergies, might have to change your diet. Right, So, depending on what
type of headache you have, requires a different program. If it's a stress headache, we might have to work on your posture, your alignment. You might have to work on your muscles or your bones. Might have to work on decompressing your nerves. If it's a tension headache, right, we might have to reduce some of the stresses in your environment. Might have to go to bed a little bit earlier, might have to start meditating, might have to do some
breathing exercises. Every headache requires a different program because there's always different causes. I had a patient. She was a medical doctor, and she had these severe headaches for years. She stopped traveling because the plane was the worst. She went to all these doctors, she did all these medications, she did boatocks, she did PRP, she did peptides. She did supplementation, she did herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies, she did chiropractics,
she did acupuncture, physical therapy. She tried, according to her, every possible type of treatment. I looked in her blood work and I analyzed a few different areas. Then I evaluated her and it was pretty simple to me. She was dehydrated, that's all it was. So I had her increase her water intake, to drink half her body weight in ounces of water every day. I had her add salt in there to get the minerals. I had her do it on an empty stomach so we could get
best absorbed. And literally, within a week, her migraines, her headaches were gone. She hugged me. She came in. She says, oh my god, Tack to Caplin, and this is a medical doctor. She goes, Tack to Kaplin, you're really onto something with this water thing. And I said, yes, Now teach your patients that, she goes, I will. I'll make sure every single one of my patients is hydrating. That's how important. You don't want to get Alzheimer's, you better
keep hydrated. Think of your brain like a grape. What happens when a grape is dehydrated, it shrivels up to a raisin. Do you want your brain to shrivel up? And if you're not gonna do it for your brain, if you're not going to do it to prevent headaches, think about it out aesthetics your skin. If you don't want wrinkles, you better stay hydrated. You want your skin to look nice and healthy, your hair to look nice and healthy, you better stay hydrated. So do it for
static purposes. Make sure you drink on an empty stomach, so you drink first thing in the morning, a half hour before each meal, and then one glass at night, so you only need to drink five glasses. But do the math and make sure those five glasses are gonna equal half your body weight in ounces, right, So if you weigh two hundred pounds, you need one hundred ounces, And if it's five glasses, right, that's only twenty ounces
of glass. That's if you weigh two hundred pounds. If you weigh one hundred pounds, right, then you only need five glasses right at ten ounces because you have to drink happier bate. So just do the math for yourself, all right, it's super easy. You just gotta do it. Get in those habits. You're just not used to it, especially in the winter because in the winter we have this radiation and the heat it dries us out. Get
a humidifier. You have to stay hydrated for your skin, for your brain, for your immune system, for your cardiovascular system. To prevent headaches and dizziness, get stronger, you need hydration. Right, There's really four things that your brain needs to get the fuel delivery the energy it needs water, oxygen, food, and sunlight. So make sure you get your water. If you miss any four of those that can be related to headaches. So now a way to figure out where
your headaches would be a neurological evaluation. So once we figure out what the cause of the headache is, now we could come up with the solution. Right now. I don't want to just give you medicine. So I am not the type of doctor that just gives you medicine because the medicine just hides the symptoms. We got to get to the root cause, and that's how you cure things. Medicine just hide symptoms, right, So you don't want to just hide the symptoms, right, It's just a band aid.
Then you have to keep taking it for the rest of your life. Wouldn't it be nice to never ever get a headache again? Right? But we need to do a thorough evaluation. We need to do blood work, you need a whole now analysis, circulation, inflammation, posture, alignment. It's important to do a thorough evaluation and come up with the proper diagnosis and not just give you a medication. Right, that's not going to cure the problem, right, same thing
with dizzyness. Right, there's all different types of dizzeyness. There's what's called BPPV. That's when you have crystals in the inner ear, and then that's a quick, easy fix, sort of like that migraine where I just pump the air into the ear. For BPPV, I just gotta tilt your head and a certain angle knock these crystals out of the area that it's causing you get vertigo, and then it's gone. It literally takes one minute and your vertigo is gone. That's the best one. It's about twenty five
percent of my dizziness cases. Then we also have pots positional orthostatic TECHT cardio syndrome. These are the people that get up quickly, or they lift up their head and they get lightheaded or dizzy. So we help out with that by doing neurologic exercises to pump the blood into the brain. There's also Maudy department syndrome or sea sickness. People who get car sick sea sick they get nauseous and you know, almost at the point where they have to throw up. That's a different type of treat or
you could get from your cerebellum. Like that's when people are sort of like they're drunk. Theory, they're unstable, they have disequilibrium, they're slurring their words, they're all over the place. That's from the cerebellum. Sometimes it's poor proprioception. They don't know where they are in space. That's a different part of the brain. We have to diagnose this. I had a patient yesterday. He had what's called an acoustic neuroma. That's a tumor that grows in the inner ear. Now
that's not as commons. His tumor occurred from radiation because he had skin cancer near his ear. They radiated the skin cancer and caused the brain tumor. So whenever you're doing radiation, remember radiation causes cancer, so you gotta be careful. So sometimes the dizzyness is caused by the doctor, that's called iatrogenic. Sometimes it's caused by like scuba diving. We have a hyperbarwered oxygen chamber for the bends. It repressurizes
the inner ear. That's a different type of treatment. There's all different types of dizziness, but we have to figure out which one and therefore we can figure out what's the appropriate treatment. Right. Once you figure out what's the appropriate treatment, then you could take action, so then you'll function better, feel better, and live a better life. This is doctor Eric Kaplan. Don't wait till things start acting bad to start taking action. The time is now. You must take action immediately, and when you take action immediately, you could get results. Now, how do you know what action to take? Right? So it all depends on what you want to accomplish right.
One of our biggest complaints we get is that people's vision gets worse. So it's very simple. If you want to improve your vision, you do eye exercises. If you want to improve your memory, we have to do memory exercises. If you want to get stronger, you have to do weight resistant exercises. You want to improve your posture, you have to do posture exercises. This is not rocket science, but you gotta do the work right, sort of like
brushing your teeth right. You want to prevent cavities, don't wait till you get a cavity to start brushing your teeth. The time is now. So what do you want to prevent You want to prevent heart disease. Well, if you want to prevent heart disease, you better reduce your stress. The number one time for a heart attack is Monday morning because people are stressed. They're relaxed over the weekend, and now Monday morning comes. I gotta go to work, to maybe some job. They don't like working for a
boss that treats them like crap. They don't get along with their co workers. The hours are bad, the salary's bad, there's no room for growth. The environment's bad. There's mold. I don't know what it is, whatever it is, right, If you're stressed at work, you better get a new job. If you say thank God it's Friday, that's the worst thing you could say. You need to say thank God
it is Monday. That means you love your life. That you're not stressed, that you're doing something worthwhile, that you're helping people. Right, We're on this earth to help people. So you got to find the way you help people, whether it's through charity, volunteering, through its your job, your family, your neighbors, your community, your church. Just find a way to contribute to the world where you're helping people, you're doing good. If everyone starts doing that, we will have
the loving, peaceful, relax happy world that we want. We could have this utopia. We just got to pay it forward, right, So we've got to reduce our stress. You don't want heart disease. You have to reduce stress. If you don't want heart disease, you gotta work your heart out. The heart's a muscle, right, so you gotta do aerobic exercise. You gotta do weight lifting exercise. You gotta start sweating, breathing hard. Your heart's beaten fast. You gotta work that muscle.
That heart is a muscle. Your intestines are muscles. The more sedentary lifestyle you live, the weaker your muscles become. When when your muscles become weaker, your bones become weaker. When your muscles are weaker, your bones are weaker. Your heart is weaker, your gas, your intentional system is weaker. Your brain becomes weaker. When the astronauts come back from outer space, because they're not using their muscles because there's no gravity, their brains are all messed up. They come
back really in need of neurologic and brain therapy. You need to move your body. Follow the twenty rule. Every twenty minutes, you get up for twenty seconds, move your body, walk twenty feet, do push ups, twenty jumping jacks, twenty sit ups, twenty lunges, twenty squats. I don't care what it is, but move your body for twenty seconds. Then you could go back to work, go back to the computer, go back to your cell phone, go back to your book,
whatever you're doing. But never sit for more than twenty minutes. If you want to prevent heart disease, you gotta keep your body moving. When you move your body improve circulation and blood flow, and it doesn't clot, it doesn't get inflamed. You gotta get your steps in every day. Usually most people's cell phones are measuring their steps. Make sure minimum seven thousand a day. You've gotta get seven thousand steps a day minimum hopefully close it to ten thousand, but
minimum seven thousand. You gotta get up every twenty minutes. That's the twenty rule. You gotta keep your body moving, right, you gotta. You got that. Sitting is the new smoking. Harvard literally came out with a study that showed sitting will kill you just as quick as smoking. All right, So you're killing yourself, right. Most people they sit at the computer all day, then they sit home at dinner, then they go sit on the couch and watch TV, and then they go ly in bed and play on
the phone or the iPad. There's no activity there. And the more we have these smart devices, the less we move. Right, everything's delivered to us, whether it's you know, the emails, the facts is, the food, the products, the people. Everything is delivered to your phone. So we don't have to move our bodies. So you got to purposely choose to move your body. Park the furthest possible spot, take the steps instead of the elevator, walk that twenty blocks instead
of getting an uber. Start making decisions to move your body. Stop choosing activities where you're sitting so much, right, even the social activities. You sit at the movie theater, you sit at the restaurant, you sit at the bar, you sit at the play. Start choosing social activities where you're moving your body. Maybe it's a concert. They're gonna go dance, or you're gonna learn a musical instrument. You're moving your body,
or you're gonna take a tango. Lesson, Are you gonna join a hiking group or a biking club, something where you move your body if you want to prevent heart disease. Heart disease is the number one killer in America and it's caused by stress, by lack of movement, sedentary lifestyle, and lastly by poor diet. America has the unhealthiest food in the world. It sucks, but guess what. We live here, and at least we have freedom of choice. So choose
to buy organic. Choose to not get processed foods. Choose to get stuff that's fresh, not in boxes and cans and in bags. Get some fresh food, fretch veggies, fresh fish, that's poultry, fresh meat, fresh eggs, Get everything fresh, right. I don't want you to eat stuff that could be sitting in your closet for three months. That's not good. Guess what it might sit in your stomach for three months. So make sure that you don't eat processed foods, don't
eat foods with food dye. Most of these food dyes are banned in other countries. The average country has about five to seven hundred chemicals that they approve. America is the only country. We have ten thousand chemicals that are approved. You know, some of the states are starting to ban some of these food dies. There's like seven or eight
states that have banned red food dye. Pennsylvania for some reason, is the only state that has banned red, and yellow and blue and like a bunch of other food dyes. But hopefully that'll change when we start banning these food dies, banning these preservatives, banning these pesticides and herbicides that are causing cancer. Glypha sate round up. Don't put that on your lawn, don't eat it from your foods. What do you think all the corn, the wheat, the soy, it's
full of glyphasate. Well, the alcohol, it's in your water, it's everywhere. We need to ban. It literally causes cancer. So don't voluntarily add glyfasate around up to your lawn or to your food. Don't buy food that you know is sprayed with that, you know, that's a bigger cause of the gluten sensitivities than the actual wheat itself. It's
more the glycysate than the wheat. I have patience that have siliac disease that go to Europe and eat the wheat and are fine because they're not reacting to the wheat as much as they are to the chemicals that are found on the wheat. Right, So what we eat is very important if you want to avoid heart disease, avoid all the grains, the dairy. The dairy is the worst thing. It's gonna make your heart really bad. Stay away from all that. The cheese, the cream, the milk.
I don't care if it's organic. Stay away from milk. You are not a baby, and you're definitely not a cow. Stop drinking milk, Stop eating cheese, Stop having yogurt and thinking it's healthy. Stop having oatmeal and thinking it's a good breakfast. Oatmeal and yogurt is not gonna help you prevent heart disease. You know that's shocking. Cheerios will not either. These are marketing gimmicks. If you really want to prevent heart disease, get active, reduce your stress, and just eat

Now, we always want to make sure that we do the appropriate things in our environment, so we could turn off bad genes. Now, a lot of people say, oh, I got genetic diseases. Uh, there's heart disease in my family, there's diabetes and family, there's Alzheimer's in my family. Okay, so you might have a genetic predisposition. But what we
know that there's something called epigenetics. And what epigenetics is is that you can actually alter your genes and turn off a bed gene. For example, i have alcoholism in my family, right, so I have a genetic predisposition for alcoholism. But if I choose not to go to the bar and drink that beer or glass of wine, that I'm going to turn off my alcoholic gene. If I have diabetes in my family, but I exercise and I eat a healthy diet, and I go to bed early, I
could turn off my diabetes gene. If I have Alzheimer's in my family, but I'm always learning new things, and I'm drinking the right amount of water, and I'm avoiding aluminum, and I'm challenging my brain all the time, and I'm very active, and I'm social and I'm giving to others, and I have a purpose in life, and I'm spending time with my grandkids. I could turn off the Alzheimer's gene.
But if I have the Alzheimer's gen and I just retire, sit on the couch, watch TV, eating bonbons, drinking beer, going out to dinner, eating process foods, sedentary lifestyle, I'm gonna get Alzheimer's. But if you do the right things, you turn that off. But you gotta be committed to doing the right things. You gotta do the work, right. I was just on the Joe Piscopo Show and he's like, Hey, what's the deal, Like, if we come up with some
medicine that's gonna cure Alzheimer's. No, there's never gonna be a medicine that cures Alzheimer's. Right. If there was madisine, everyone would just take it and no one would have many problems. Right, There's no medicine that cures heart disease. Right, They keep you alive, so you could keep buying your high blood pressure pills. But if it was a cure, you wouldn't need to take the medicine. Right, So there's no cure for high blood pressure. There's no cure for diabetes. Right.
You could take your met form in for your whole life, that's what they want you to do. That's not a cure. Now, these diabetes medications that everyone's taking to lose weight, that's the worst thing you could do for your health. Right, these diabetes medication, when you take them to lose weight, you're actually losing eighty percent muscle and only twenty percent fat.
That's the weight you're losing is muscle. When you lose weight the natural way through exercise, nutrition, stress reduction, getting a good night's sleep, healthy food choices, when you do it the right way, you lose eighty percent fat and only twenty percent muscle. And remember what we said before, the heart is a muscle. So when you take these diabetes medication, you're weakening your heart. Your intestines are muscles. When you take these weight loss diabetes medication, you're ruining
your whole gastro intestinal systems. When you lose all this muscle mass, your bones are going to become weaker, your brain's gonna become weaker, your balance is gonna be off. You're more likely to get injured, more likely to get authrtis. It's not worth it. Please stop taking these diabetes medications to lose weight. There's other ways to do it. Start thinking outside the box. You don't have to take a
pill to solve all your solutions. All the power is from within the the power that made the body, heals the body. We just have to unleash its potential and get rid of any interference. And there's lots of things that interfere with your health. If we're talking about prevention of Alzheimer's, we better avoid aluminum aluminums everywhere. Don't use aluminum foil. Right you package your food and aluminum foil, you cook with aluminum foil. Don't use aluminum cans, Don't
use aluminum cooking pans. Don't use aluminum drinking containers. There's aluminum deodorant, there's aluminium medicine, alluminums everywhere. It's even in the air, it's in the water. So don't add anything extra. Make sure you get deordorate without aluminum. Make sure when you're getting your cooking pans, when you get stainless steel, use parchment paper when you're cooking. Store stuff in glass, not in aluminum foil. If you want to prevent Alzheimer's, right,
you gotta stay away from the aluminum. Don't put it on your deodorant. You gotta stay away from fluoride. Fluoride is one of the biggest known neurotoxins. So if you want to prevent Alzheimer's, start reducing fluoride. Whether it's at the dentist, it's in your water, it's in your toothpaste. Fluoride is all over the place. You gotta eliminate that from your body. About lead, if you have an old house, it's in the paint, it's in a lot of the schools. In the water, why you might need to get a
high duty water filter. It's in the shower. It's getting through your skin. Stay away from the lead. Arsenic it's an apple juice and brown rice cadman. It's in fried chicken. Mercury is in the fish, so get smaller fish. Don't get the tuna and the white fish. The bigger fish they have the most mercury. Get the smaller fish, mackerel, sardines,
harrying salmon. Don't get from the Pacific Ocean. Get from the Atlantic Ocean, or get from Iceland or Norway or the Mediterranean, but there was a nuclear mouthdown in Japan a decade ago, and the whole ocean is radiated. They're still letting this nuclear waste dump into the Pacific Ocean. It's crazy. The world's got to stop this. And they're do it in America too. There's a nuclear power plant in upstate New York just twenty minutes from the city.
It's like Indian Point or Indian Head, something like that. They're literally dumping nuclear ways in the Hudson River and it goes all the way down to the city. And how come the public doesn't care about this. We gotta speak up. They're literally dumping nuclear waste in the Hudson. They stopped it for a little bit, but then they were supposed to find another solution. Couldn't find a solution, So okay, let's go back to dumping it in the Hudson.
That's crazy. It's the biggest city in the world. Let's just radiate the Hudson River. I have patients that were born or that were lived on top of a radioactive burial ground. It's crazy. They literally built this whole town over these radiated dump and they and I see a lot of these patients, they got Parkinson's, they got MS, they got odoimmune disease, they got Alzheimer's. This nuclear waste
is dangerous. Radiation is dangerous. To avoid any radiation if you don't have to take an X ray, don't take an X ray, don't do all these ultrasounds and mammograms and cat scans and pet scans, all these contrast fluids. And you know, come on, with this radiation. Let's reduce it. Even your Wi Fi and your five G and your data that's radiation. Turn off your phone. If you have
your phone on, you turn it off. And don't wear all these things with these Bluetooth, these devices it's motivation, the headphones and the Apple watches and all these things, and the whoop that measures your sleep, and I mean there's all these devices. Don't be electronic. Stay away from all the electronics. And if it's on, you turn it off. Only use it when you need it when it's necessary. And don't have anything plugged in near your head, especially
while you're sleeping. You gotta the radiation, you know, don't hang out in Starbucks all day. You're just radiating yourself. Get out of the big cities, the big cities have more radiation. There's a website you go to, I think it's Antennas dot com, and you could just put in your zip code and you can see how many towers are near you, how many you know satellite dishes are near you, and tell us how much signals you're gonna get near you if you go into the city. It's crazy.
Right in the middle of the country, it's not so bad, but you don't want to be near telephone towers, cell phone towers, electricity towers. We already have so much radiation. So if you want to prevent cancer, gotta stay away from radiation. If you want to prevent cancer, you gotta stay away from sugar. Cancer loves sugar. You want to
prevent cancer, you gotta reduce stress. You want to prevent cancer, you gotta get your hormones in order, get your thyroid in order, get your gut in order, make sure you could detox properly. Now, remember though, when you have a tumor, that's the body protecting yourself from these bad cancer cells. So be careful of getting biopsies and surgeries. We're going to open up Pandora's box. See if you could shrink those little tumors, by detoxing properly, by eating healthy, reducing stress,
reducing radiation. Give it a go. You'd be surprised how powerful the human body is. Now. You got to work with your oncologists and you got to work with your medical doctors. Right, don't do it all on your own, right, You need a team, and I'd be happy to help you too. You need a team of qualified doctors that know how to heal you naturally in holistic ways. Function better, feel better, and live a better life. This is doctor Eric Kaplan, and you're listening to boost your brain power. Now. Don't come to me if you just want a prescription, a pill, some herb, some supplement that's just gonna magically fix your condition. That's not what I do. I'm a functional neurologist. I'm a brain expert, and what I do is I could figure out which areas of the brain are functioning at the highest level and which areas need the most help. After we figure out which
areas need the most help. Then we could do neurologic exercise. Think of me like a physical therapist, but for the brain. So instead of doing stretching and strength, you can do brain exercises. So, for example, if you want to improve
your memory, you could do memory exercises. So you could do something where you do remember that old game rock paper scissors, So what you do is you do different orders and you do rock paper scissors, and you do it over and over for thirty seconds, and then you go rock scissors, paper, and then you go paper rock scissors. So you keep switching up the order seeing how fast you could do it in thirty seconds. So that's a brain exercise. Or you could try this where you take
your left leg and draw clockwise circles. So you can try this right now, draw clockwise circles with your left leg in the air, and then in the air with your left arm, draw a big number six. That's a brain exercise that's gonna make you focus and think. So if you want to improve your focus, this is a focus exercise. If you want to improve your vision, you do vision exercises, so you have a brock string. Is
the best vision exercise. We have that at our offices, or you can get it on Amazon or just you know, anywhere you can order it. It's a brock string where you look at these different little beads that are colors, and you load near and then you go medium and you go really far and you could actually strength your near vision, medium vision, your far vision. So these are I exercises, the brock string exercises, Those are the best exercises to actually improve your vision. Then you got to
do posture exercises. Almost everyone has poor posture these days because they're always looking down at their cell phone, looking down at the computer, looking down at the iPad, looking down at their book. Everyone's always looking down. So start doing some posture exercises where you're looking up. Take those shoulders, roll them back, squeeze the scalpule together and look up. Open up your chest. Bring back your shoulders, and I say,
crack that walnut. Roll back your shoulders, squeeze them together like there was a walnut between your shoulder blades, and keep that chin up right. Most people's chins down with all activities, whether you're eating, writing, doing laundry, doing dishes, screwing in something typing on the computer or looking at your cell phone. Almost everything we do is looking down, you know, unless you're you know, a you know, electrician, and that's always screwing light bulbs up on the ceiling.
That's like one of very few jobs are looking up, right, unless you're a you know, an astronomer. Are always looking up at the stars, that's one thing, but that is rare. Most people are looking down. So you got to combat that and start looking up every twenty minutes. That's the twenty rule. Every twenty minutes, you get up for twenty seconds, move your body, look up, look twenty feet away, roll those shoulders back for twenty seconds. Just move your body.
Got to improve your posture, do sitting to standing where you just sit, stand up, look up, reach up and then sit and then stand up, look up, reach up and then sit, stand up, look up, reach up. That's good for your posture. Even an isometric exercise, we just go against the wall and push your head deep into the wall, push your back back, back back. It's an isometric isometric exercise to strengthen those poster air muscles in the back of your neck. If you want to improve
your posture, you gotta do posture exercises. You want to prove your brain, gotta do brain exercises. You want to improve your vision, Gotta do vision exercises. It's not rocket science. What let's say, if you want to prove your sleep, Okay, you want to prove your sleep, The important thing is your circadium rhythms, because sleep is dictated by your pineal gland, and the pineal gland only will know what time it is by the sun. So you have to go outside
and take off your glasses. Let that sun hit your pupils. And therefore, when the sun hits the eyes says, okay, it's in the middle of the day, or it's the sun's rising, it's the beginning of the day. Increase cortisol, give me energy. Right. One of the best ways to increase your energy in the morning is not through a cup of coffee, but to go outside during sunrise and move your body. Just go for a walk, go for a jog, go for a bike ride. During sunrise. Your
brain will start to wake up. And conversely, if you have trouble sleeping, go outside during sunset, take the dog for a walk, take a little walk after dinner. Very good for your digestion. But then as your brain sees the sun going down, now it says, okay, let me increase melatone and let me decrease cortisol, which is the
stress hormone. But if it's late at night, let's say it's nine o'clock at night, all the lights are on, you're eating dinner, the computer's on, you're scrolling through your phone, all these smart devices are on the TV, the news is on. You're gonna increase cortisol, and then you're not gonna get in that deep sleep, and then you're not gonna be re energized. Then you're gonna wake up feeling groggy. So just because you're in bed doesn't mean you're getting
a deep sleep. You've gotta get your circadium rhythms in order. You gotta activate that pineal glam properly by using light, proper sunlight three times a day. You want to go out and see the sun with your glasses off, sunrise, sunset, and in the middle of the day when the sun's at the top, and you only got to do ten minutes, that's it. You wake up ten minutes outside, You come home from work, eat dinner, ten minutes outside, and then
just ten minutes during your lunchtime. Super easy to do, but that will help you get into that deep sleep. Don't use electronics at night that interrupts your deep sleep, and especially don't watch the news. So if you're watching the ten o'clock news at night, right before bed, you're
not gonna get a deep sleep. There's no way. If you're watching some a zombie apocalypse or some show about people in jail, some reality show, some show about law cases where sexually harassment is occurring, or you know, police where they're killing drug dealers, or you know, if you're watching the news where there's murders and the bronx and there's fires and are burning everybody, and there's hurricanes, and there's World War III, and there's political corruption and there's
police brutality. Come on, turn off the news. That's gonna increase cortisol. That's your stress hormone that's going to interrupt your sleep. Don't think the news informs you. It does not. Okay, help your community, do good things for your neighbors, all right, you have to do good and reduce your own stress levels. The best way to reduce your stress levels is to help others. Then you forget about your own problems. Why I have the best job. I'm literally just helping people
get their lives back. I help people with Parkinson's, with stroke, with autism, with MS, with als, with concussion, verdigo headaches. People have to drop out of school, drop out of work, with their jobs and their relationships, and we could give them their lives back. There's no better feeling in the world than helping another person get their life back. And I get to do that every day. Literally the best
job in the world. And I'm not a doctor, like an ecologist, where all my patients are dying of cancer, and then even my cure is gonna make them bald and sick, and that's gonna cause more cancer and then they need more drugs, and it's like, oh, that would be the worst. I'd be depressed. Or if I was like a dentist and everyone hates coming to me and they got a drill in. There's so much pain and
everyone always complaining. Why people come to me and they're they're loving life because we're improving the function of their brain. But the first step is to figure out what area the brain is not functioning properly. And one of the best tests we do That is called a qEEG brain mapping, and we do that in our offices in New Jersey
