I'm your host, doctor Eric Kaplan. Hope everyone having a great day so far, looking forward to talking about how to boost your brain power, how to improve your memory and focus in natural and holistic ways without any drugs or surgeries. So, whenever deciding what type of therapy
you want to do, you always measure the risk versus the reward. You always want to choose things that are very low risk and very high reward. There's a variety of ways to do that, but you always have to start off conservatively. Most things can be fixed just with diet and exercise. So the easiest way to do it, I just call it living off the earth, you know, eating food from the earth. If you can't get it from a tree or a bush, or the ground or the earth itself or
in the water, stay away from it. Stay away from the boxes, the cans, the bags. Right, you don't see a bread tree, there's no bagel bush, there's no cereal plant, you know, So stay away from the boxes. The cans, the bags. We don't want all this stuff with preservatives. We don't want all the conventional food with all the herbicides and pesticides. Work with your local farmers, go to the farmer's market.
Don't always shop in the conventional big places, you know, like Shopbrighting, Wagmans and Kings and all the you know, big places that you know mass produce their food. You know, there's so many farmers markets. You want to eat local, and even though the farmers that are local they might use some pesticides and herbicides, it's not nearly as much as if we were getting food from one of the conventional stores here, right. And an exercise,
you gotta exercise. Everybody has this sedentary lifestyle now, so you you know, you sit at home eating breakfast, and then you sit on the commute, and then you sit at work, and then you sit on your ride home, and then you sit at the dinner table, and then you sit on the couch and watch TV. There's too much sitting, and you sit at the movies, you sit at the Broadway show, you sit at the restaurant, you sit at the bar. Are always sitting. Sitting is
considered the new smoking, it's causing heart disease, obesity, diabee. If you want to die an unhealthy life, then you do a lot of sitting. If you want to live a vibrant life with energy and high quality and good memory, and you got to exercise every day. I don't care if it's just a walk, but do something every day. Exercise is the key to improving your health. And I don't care what your condition is. If you have depression, exercise helps. If you have anxiety, exercise helps.
If you have memory problems, exercise helps. If you have diabetes, exercise helps. If you have heart disease, Exercise helps. If you have obesity, cancer, liver disease, lung disease. Exercise helps. You have headaches, dizziness, exercise helps. Now there are times, you know, especially we see a lot of concussion patients at my office, or lime disease, or COVID nineteen long haulers, or people who've reacted to the vaccines and the
shots, mold exposure, lime disease. We see a lot of these patients and sometimes if they overdo the exercise, it can aggravate their symptoms. So it's like an art. You don't want to exercise too little. But yes,
it is true you can exercise too much. So it's an art of pushing your comfort levels where your heart starts beating and you start sweating and you're breathing heavily, and so you've got to challenge yourself, but not at the same time we're gonna get all headaches and dizziness and pass out and stuff like that. So with everything in life, you know it's in moderation, right, And when you look at your blood work, you know you can have too little iron, or you can have too much iron. You could have
too little calcium, you can have too much calcium. So be careful with these multivitamins because you can be causing yourself to have too much of a vitamin that you don't need that it can become toxic. Calcium supplements are very dangerous. You know, people take these calcium supplements just because they've reached a certain age, or because they have osteopenia, where because they have osteoporosis, or because they know I hear all these excuses, Oh, I don't drink milk
and I need to take calcium. Drinking milk has nothing to do with your calcium levels. There is no scientific evidence that shows people who drink higher levels of milk have higher levels of calcium. That's not true. That's just the dairy industry, with their marketing and hiring celebrities with their milk mustache, is
to tell you it makes your bone strong. It's not true. There's no research that shows taking a lot of dairy products, consuming a lot of milk, dairy, cheese, yogurt contributes to a prevention of osteoporosis or osteopenia. In fact, it may be the exact opposite. I've seen more evidence the other way, and what I mean by that that shows the people that drink the most amount of milk, higher dairy products actually have a higher incidence of
osteoporosis and osteopenia. That evidence I've actually seen. So it might be the opposite of what everybody tells us. All right, So milk does not do a body good. Now, remember dairy is for cows, all right. So there's a couple of things you want to take into consideration. Number One, the only type of person that should be drinking milk is a baby. Adults don't need milk. Once you start eating whole foods, there's no need for milk. Milk is biologically made for babies, so once you're an adult,
you don't need milk. Number two, cow's milk is biologically made for cows, baby cows. So the truth is, if you're not a baby cow, you should never have any milk products. That's ice cream, that's cheese, that's sour cream, cream, cheese, butter, creamy sauces, parmesan, any milk product, it's not just drinking milk, grabbing milk and cereal or milk in your coffee. It's any dairy product, you're gonna create
a reaction that's typical. It's an autoimmune reaction where the body starts attacking itself because it says, hey, I'm not a cow. So if I eat this piece of cheese or have this little yogurt in the morning, my brain's gonna be like, wait, this doesn't make any sense. My stomach can't digest this. I don't have the same stomach as a cow. I don't know the same type of chambers. I don't know the same type of enzymes. I don't know the same type of acid and bile. This is a
cow. I'm a human. So what happens is it creates autoimmune disease and the body starts attacking itself, and it may lead to a thyroid problem. Hormonal problems may lead to MS, brain problems, brain memory, focus problems main lead to skin problems. Exema, psoriasis may lead to joint pain, rheumatoid orthoritis, fibromyalgia. It might lead to stomach pain, siliac disease, iridal bow syndrome, also rate of colitis. Oh my god, it may
lead to lung disease. That's what it did for me. When I was drinking a lot of milk and eating a lot of cheese and pizza and ice cream and yogurt and cream, cheese on the bagels, and cheese on every sandwich, I developed severe and chronic bronchitis. It was so severe I had to get put on medicine, and the medicine made me sick. I was put on steroids antibiotics, and that medicine made me throw up and made me
nauseous and headache. Every morning. I would throw up on the way to school, every time I walked, anytime I played a sport, anytime I went up the steps, I would throw up. It was a horrible way to lift, and I thought this medication cannot be my cure. So I said, what can I do since my pediatrician does not know how to fix my chronic bronchitis, So I went to a health seminar. Luckily, at that moment, my dad was going on a healthcare himself. He invited me
to the seminar. It was called a natural hygiene seminar, and I learned about dairy products and how they cause a lot of congestion in the lungs. So it's like a light bulb went off. So I said, when I get home, I'm not having any more dairy products. No more cheese, no more cream cheese, no more pizza, no more ice cream. And I quit immediately, and within a month I cured my own bronchitis, and I did not need to take the steroids and antibiotics anymore because they have a
lot of side effects. Those antibiotics can ruin your gut microbiome, and that's gonna make me more prone to infections later in life. So if you take antibiotics as a kid, that's going to ruin your immune system because now it's killed off all these good bacteria. And these good bacteria are your best defense against bad bacteria, Your best defense against viruses and mold and yeast and worms
and parasites is good gut microbiome, good healthy stomach acid. So if you've ever taken antibiotics, if you've ever taken Tom's rollites, any anti acids, you've given your gut and your immune system a disservice. Now doesn't mean you can't reverse it and get it better. And the start, you should take probiotics. I don't like antibiotics. I like probiotics because we want bacteria. Your body has more bacteria than cells. But the idea is to have good
bacteria, not bad bacteria. So antibiotics unfortunately kill off the good bacteria. Probiotics supplement you with good bacteria. Right, So if you have to take antibiotics for an emergency situation, take probiotics in between. Right. So, most people will take antibiotics eight in the morning at eight at night. That means you got to take probiotics at two pm in the afternoon, right in
the middle. Then after you're done of whatever it is, three day, five day, seven day, now we got to take a lot of probiotics after. You gotta keep changing it up because Each bacteria has a different task, a different job, different way it's gotta work. So every time you want to take different probiotics, don't keep taking the same probiotics month after month after month after month. I personally change my probiotics every two months because I
want different bacteria. They're gonna fight different things, they're gonna absorb different things, they're gonna help with different things. All Right, the bacteria is healthy for you as long as you have more of the good bacteria and less of the bad bacteria. Okay, So we want to decrease the bad bacteria increase the good bacteria. Your body is pretty amazing at fighting off the bad stuff. So you wanna have good cholesterol to fight off the bad cholesterol. You
want to have good bacteria to fight off the bad bacteria. You want to have good cholesterol and fight off the bad cholesterol. You want to have good brain cells to fight off the bad brain cells. So we have all these good things that fight off the bad things. But everyone's just worried about the bad things. All right, But the body is amazing at healing itself. The power that made the body heals the body. And when my job is just to teach you what to do to function better, feel better, and
live a better life. Don't miss boost your brain power with doctor Eric Kaplan every Saturday from two pm to three pm to learn the secrets of how to optimize your brain function. Welcome back to
boost your brain power. I'm your host, Doctor Eric Kaplan. We're just talking about natural ways to improve your brain function, and the worst thing is sitting. So what you want to do is the twenty rule. Every twenty minutes, you get up for twenty seconds, you walk twenty feet and you can also look twenty feet away for your eyes as well, So you always
want to do something every twenty minutes. I don't care if it's twenty jumping jacks, if it's twenty push ups, twenty sit ups, twenty onees, twenty squats, twenty shoulder rolls, or just walk twenty feet and it only takes twenty seconds. That's the twenty rule. Twenty minutes. You get up for twenty seconds, you move your body, and you also look twenty feet away. These screens are bad for our eyes. We have three dimensional eyes, so our eyes are not the side of our head where we can only
use one eye at a time. They're in the front, so we could see three dimensions. We could see depth perception. We could figure out how far away something is. Helps us to survive, To figure out, okay, how far is that lion or tiger away from me? Or how far is that chicken away from me so I can catch it. So that depth perception is very important for humans. But the more we use our cell phones, our iPads, our computers, our TVs, all these flat screens,
the video games, it ruins our eyes, It ruins our vision. So you want to do eye exercises you know you can improve your vision. You know, I'm forty five years old. I used to get worse and worse vision every year of my life. Ever since I've been in elementary school, I've had glasses and what happens is every year they would get worse because I never challenged them until I was thirty five years old, about nine ten years ago, and the eye doctor told me you're gonna need vision improvements so you
can read. I said, what are you talking about. He's like, yeah, you're gonna need bifocals. I said, what are you talking about. He's like, well, you're near sighted, but after you get to forty, you're near vision goes away. I said, how do you know that he goes That just happens with old age. And then that triggered me because I hate when doctors say things get worse as you get older. I don't accept that because I know for a fact that your memory can get better
as you get older. I know for a fact you could have less joint pain as you get older. I know for a fact your balance can improve as you get older. And I know for a fact your vision can improve as you get older. You just got to put in the effort. The easiest exercise to do. It's called a brock string exercise. You can order that on Amazon. But a brock string exercise is this little exercise where you
look at these different colored beads. You know, there's red and orange and yellow and green and blue, and you look at one bead and the idea is to see one of the colored beads and you'll see two strings going in and two strings going out, and then crossing at the color bead that you look at, and then you look to the next spead, which is a little bit further, and you want to see one of those, and you
want to see two strings going in and two strings going out. And you do this so on and so forth, starting from near and going too far. If you do this every day and you keep changing the distance, getting closer, getting further, then you can actually strengthen your eyes and improve your vision. I used to wear glasses one hundred percent of my waking hours. Then after I started doing this, I started wearing them ninety percent and my
vision improved. And then I went back to the eye doctor. He said, oh, your vision improved. I said, that's right. I've been doing eye exercises. He didn't believe me, and he goes, oh, that can happen. Then I went back the next year and then it improved again, and he still didn't believe me. He says, Okay, I need a new eye doctor. But he didn't care. My eye doctors don't care. They don't want to know how to improve your eyes. That's not
their job. Their job is to figure out what glasses will you know fit you perfectly so you can see the best. That's their job. That's what they're trained to do. They're not trained in how to teach you how to fix your eyes on your own right. So for that you got to go to someone who's trained in that. That's what I do. So there's lots of different eye exercises. There's brock string exercises, there's vestibular ocular reflex exercises,
there's optokinetic reflex exercises. There's times zero times one times two viewing. There's visual pursuits and visual scads and kind of convergence and divergence. There's all different eye exercises. But the key is to figure out which eye exercises are most weak on you. And once we figure out your weakness then we could focus on which exercises are going to give you the best results. There's six different eye muscles and they do different things. Some go left, some go
right, some go up, some go down. They move your eyes in all different ways, and everybody has different weaknesses, so we got to figure out through a neurologic evaluation where your weakness is. Now. Eyes problems can also cause trouble with focus, difficulty with reading, headaches, dizziness, memory problems. Your eyes are a window into your nervous system. You can even look in the eyes and see if there's heart disease or liver disease. You
look at your arteries. You can look at the color, see if it's yellow. You look how your eyes respond to light, and see, hey, are you in stress mode? You in that fight or flight mode? You could see you know how you constrict and dilate, how your brain stem is. Can analyze all the different lobes of your brain. The eyes of the window into the brain. And what I suggest, if you're interested, is to do a full eye and neurological valuation. It's on video nestography VNG,
or another word is VOG video oculography. That's another way of saying it. This is one of the best tests. It's this eye test, and it literally tells us if there's imbalances of your left brain and your right brain. It's gonna tell us this which areas are overactive, which areas are underactive. It's gonna tell us a is there a reason that you have this depression or anxiety, or insomnia, or the balance problems or the headaches. So
it gets to the root cause of your neurologic condition. It's not invasive, there's no radiation, there's no risk, you don't have to sit in some small tube. All you gotta do is wear these goggles kind of look like you know swimming goggles. You follow these little red lights that go left and right and up and down with a head turn and in the light and in
the dark. And based on these different eye movements, we'll be able to analyze your brain and tell us which areas are underactive and that can cause you know, poor focus, depression, low motivation for organization for social skills,
fatigue, malaise. That's underactive areas. But it also tell us if there's overactive areas going to be more anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, impulse control, anger, aggression, troubles with focus, easily distracted, can't handle big environments, tonight's ringing in the ears, floaters in the eyes, light sensitivity, hard to drive at night from the reflection of the lights. Those are overact active areas could even be digestive problems, you know, not having bowel movements
every day, or sleeping difficulties. Insomnia are mind racing in the middle of the night or getting up to pee two or three times every night. It's overactive, muscle tension, neck pain, back pain, muscle spasm, inflammation, overactive. The VNG picks this all up. It's normally five hundred dollars, but for the first seven people to call, text or email you could get the VNG for only twenty one dollars. All you gotta do is call our text six four six two two one six seven three eight or email info
at Kaplinbrainermbody dot com. And this is for the VNG telling me listen to my show and you want to be one of the first seven people to get the VNG for only twenty one dollars so you could function better, feel better, and live a better life more. When we come back from the break.

dot com. Hello, and welcome back to boost your brain power. I'm your host, doctor Eric Kaplan. So we're talking about how to improve your brain function and improve your memory in a natural and holistic way. Talked about exercise, We talked about getting up every twenty minutes. Now, a lot of people don't know this, but they're trying to change the name of Alzheimer's disease to diabetes type three because it's a combination of diabetes type one and diabetes
type two. Diabetes type one is an autoimmune condition. That's when the body's attacking itself. We explain that dairy products can aggravate autoimmune conditions. Uten can aggravate autoimmune condition. Now, gluten can be found everywhere and cereals and bread, bagels, crackers. It's everywhere, you know, all the candies, the cakes, the pastries, the croissants, the muffins, it's everywhere. In the noodles and all the grains, all those processed foods, all the
snacks. It's full of gluten. When you're out to a restaurant, they're eating lots of gluten. You don't even realize it. Now, this gluten creates autoimmune condition. Now, just because something's gluten free doesn't mean it's healthy. Right, So you don't want to eat gluten. But you don't want to eat gluten free either, because the gluten free foods are usually full of some other crap to make it taste good. Or you know, have a
good texture or some glue to keep it together. There's some artificial flavoring or whatever it may be. So remember what we said about before is to stay away from the boxes, the cans in the bags. So when you go to the supermarket, you stay on the outside. That's where everything's fresh, the fresh fruits and vegetables, and you got your fresh eggs and meats and fishes. It's all on the outside. But we also said go to farmers market, you know, meet your local farmers so that you know how the
stuff's raised, where it's coming from. All right, So we want to make sure that we eat very healthy and avoid all autoimmune foods so we don't get diabetes type one autoimmune disease. So the big foods are dairy, gluten, corn, soy, coffee, alcohol, Those are the big sex. If you don't want autoimmune disease, those are the six foods you got to stay away from. I'll say it again. Dairy, gluten, corn,
soy, coffee, and alcohol. Those are the big six. Diabetes type two that is more due to the sedentary lifestyle and a lot of carbohydrates, a lot of sugar, So you want to stay away from lemonade, iced tea juices. You want to stay away from soda. You want to stay away from all the rice and the potatoes, all the white foods, the flour, the bread, the sugar, all the carbi stuff, the starchy
stuff, oatmeal. That's not good. We're trying to get rid of diabetes type two, and we say got to exercise minimum twenty minutes a day, and you to do the twenty rule. Get up every twenty minutes, move your body for twenty seconds. Now, another important thing that helps with diabetes is intermittent fasting. And that's where you only eat eight hours and then you sleep eight hours and you fast sixteen hours. So the best way to do it is eat from ten am to six pm, and then you fast from
six pm to ten am. Then you go to sleep from ten pm to six am. That way, it's set up perfectly. So you have four hours after your last meal before bedtime. Four hours is plenty of time to digest your food, break everything down, absorb the nutrients so that when you lie down for bed there's nothing left in there. You're not gonna get acid reflux, gird. You're not gonna have a lot of times where you're getting up in the middle of the night to pee. Most people have to pee
in the middle of night night it is because you eat too late. It's not necessarily because you drink water too late, So eating at night will aggravate it as well. All right, other things that are important for diabetes type two is to reduce stress. Stress will make everything worse. If your vegus nerve isn't working, that controls your pancreas, and if your vegus nerve is working, that controls your hormones and your cortisol. So a lot of times
we have to relax your nervous system. One way to do it is through gargling. Another way is through humming or singing really loud, or just one big swallow. Get a bunch of saliva on your tongue and do a big swallow. Helps with the vagus nerve. Those are just a couple of things you can do at home to get you out of that stress mode. The more relaxed you are, the better your brain functions. So you always want to make sure that you do the right things to relax your nervous system.
A lot of people do meditation. Meditation's great, however, you've got to make sure that you can meditate. So a lot of people say, hey, I'm not going to even try to meditate because I can never do it. Well, what you got to do is you got to start with just a thirty second meditation. Everybody could do a thirty second meditation. And when I say a thirty secondmentation, I call it the relax technique. And what you do is just imagine you close your eyes and just imagine all the muscles
melting down in your body, just relaxing. And I start at the top of my head and I say relax, and I relax those muscles, and then I go to my forehead, relax, Relax those muscles. Then I go to my temples, relax. I'm saying this internally. It's my mantra. I relax my eyes, relax my cheeks, relax my nose, my mouth, my chin, my neck. So I pick thirty spots and one second each spot. It only takes thirty seconds to do a meditation. And then when you get good at that, it say okay, now I'm gonna
bump it up to forty five seconds. And when you get to get that, you do it up to a minute. But everybody can do thirty seconds, and then once you get good used to that, then you can do forty five and you just do it gradually. So just make little micro increments, little improvements, one percent every day. But everyone can meditate for thirty seconds. Everyone can get off your butt for thirty seconds. Everyone can run down the block for thirty seconds every day. You can do a lot of
things for thirty seconds. You can read one page of your book for thirty seconds. You could take thirty seconds to write three things you're grateful for. You could do thirty seconds to do an eye exercise to stop looking at your screen and look further away. You could do thirty seconds of push ups, thirty seconds of sit ups, thirty seconds of squats. You could do a lot in thirty second increments, all right. So when people say, oh, I don't have time to do that, you got thirty seconds. You
could do almost everything you want to. You just choose not to. You'd rather spend three or four hours watching the football playoffs. You got three or four hours to do that. But you don't have thirty seconds to run outside the end of the block, all right. You could do a thirty second sprint and then you walk a little bit, thirty second sprint, walk a little bit, but I want you to get your heart racing. I want you to start sweating. That's going to prove your brain and bodies function.
You're gonna move your body. You use it or you lose it. You want to prevent Alzheimer's, you want to prevent dementia. Exercise every day. Find something that you like to do, whether it's dancing, sport, tennis, basketball, soccer. A lot of people playing a pick a ball now, play ping pong is really good. People loving that. Do something that just gets your butt off the chair. Take a dance class, even if it's learning a musical instrument like play the drums. That's physical and you're doing
something different and you're learning and you got to coordinate. You're challenging your brain. Right, So everyone understands going to the gym, challenge your muscles, and people understand brushing your teeth, and people understand, you know, making sure that you get good sleep or drinking water. But when I tell them, you got to exercise your brain every day. You gotta challenge your brain
every day. You gotta learn new things. Every day we're doing new thing or meet a new person, or go to a new place, or take a new route to work, or read a new book, or learn a new language or a new musical instrument, or take up a new hobby or learn a new dance move. I gotta keep learning. You gotta be a student for life. Your brain's like a muscle. You use it or you lose it. And we said they're gonna call Alzheimer's. These diabetes type one
and diabetes type two. So if you don't want diabetes type two, exercise is one of the best things you can do. So we say away from sugar and carbs and exercise. That's your care for diabetes type two. It could be totally reversed right now though people are getting diabetes younger and younger and younger. But we gotta look at your blood work. Gotta look at your
hemoglobin A and C and your fasting glucose. You gotta monitor it. You know, when you look at blood work, don't compare yourself to everybody else, So you don't want to be normal. When I look at people's blood work, I compare you to healthy people. So you don't want to be normal. You want to be healthy because a normal person in America, has heart disease, has cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's. You do not want to be normal. You do not want to be the ninety nine percent. You
have to be the one percent. You got to do what nobody else is doing, which is following these suggestions, drinking the right amount of water, eating the colors of the rainbow, doing your breathing exercise, working on your posture, getting off your butt every twenty minutes, going out in the sun, getting sunlight. If you do the right things, you'll get the great results. So if you function better, you'll feel better and you'll live a
better life. More when we come back from the break, don't miss boost your brain Power with doctor Eric Kamplan every Saturday from two pm to three pm to learn the sacred of how to optimize your brain function. Called two oh one two six' one two one five zero or email info at Kaplan brainanbody dot com if you're interested in a free ten minute consultation with doctor Caplan, or visit kaplindc dot com for more information. Welcome back to boost your brain power. I'm your
host, doctor Eric Caplan. So we're talking about how to improve your brain function, improve your memory, your focus. It starts from diet and exercise. Those are always the most important things, right, but we also said you got to drink a right amount of water. I have patients I know when they come in dehydrated, their memory doesn't work as well. You can literally change your brain function on a daily basis. And you want to drink
Solai water, which is a pinch of pinkmelan salt. The salt helps to take the water into the cells. You don't want to just drink water and then pee it out. And we're finding more and more research about these plastic water bottles. They're just leaching into the water. People are drinking and eating so much plastic these days. So please do yourself a favor and get yourself a nice water filter. If you need suggestions, just email me info at
kaplinbrainbody dot com. You want to get one that plug extent that attaches under the sink. You want to get one that you know maybe attaches to the shower head. You don't want to keep using these plastic water bottles, so the idea is to get a filter and then fill up your glass water bottle or your stainless steel water bottle so that you can drink out of glass or stainless steel as opposed to drinking at a plastic because you don't want to keep
eating all these plastics. They're hidly inflammatory, they're carcinogenic, They're cause digestive problems, skin problems, brain problems. We already exposed to so much plastic. And stop using plastic storage containers. To store everything in glass containers or stainless steel. So when you get home from shopping, even if they give it to you everything in a plastic bag, I want you to take it out of the bag. To get rid of a lot of the chemicals.
You could put all your fruit in bed in a nice big bowl, filling up with water, take some baking soda, let it soak for at least an hour. The baking soda will help take out all the bad chemicals. Then you're gonna flush, pour all the water out after an hour, rinse off all the fruits and veggies again. Store it in a glass container. It's gonna taste better, it's gonna last longer, it's not gonna mold as
quickly. It's gonna look nicer. So start storing everything in glass. Stop using the plastic containers because those plastics leach into the water and into the food. And definitely don't reuse water bottles then they leaches. Is even more. It's gonna be very careful with those plastic containers. I mean, you know, you go to Europe and everybody uses glass, and then all the places
reuse the glass, and yeah that's the way to do it. And yes you risk glass breaking, but uh, that's not that big a deal. I'm gonna save the environment. You're gonna save your pockets. That's gonna be much cheaper in the end. Uh, you're gonna uh save your health because you're not and buying any of those plastics. So everybody wins. So the environment wins, the money game is better, the health game is better. Uh, everyone wins, all right, So start using glass instead of plastic.
And then if you have leftover food that you're using stored in glass. So then the next day, let's say you bring it for lunch, you just heat it up in a toaster oven. Don't use the microwave oven. The microwave dnatures everything. Uh. It takes all the nutritional value out of your food. It's also radiation. It's dangerous. It even kills water. Not just your food food, but your water. You know, they did experiments with water. If you microwave your water and then use that water to
water your plants, your plants will die. If you boil water and then use the boiled water to water your plants, your plants will live. So there's a big difference between boiling to heat things up versus microwave to heat things. Microwave will literally kill water, It will kill your food. It will kill the nutrients in all the food as well. All right, So stored in a glass, heat it up in a toaster oven takes only five minutes,
super quick. Try not to use too much leftovers though. You know rice, If you put rice in the refrigerator, it starts to mold after just twenty four hours, So stop eating so many leftovers. Try and eat everything fresh as possible. If you you know, cut a half an onion and keep it in the refrigerator, that's gonna grow mold too. Or if you could open garlic, peel the garlic, that's gonna grow mold also. So try and use everything fresh that day, and uh, use everything up.
Okay, try not to eat old food too much. And I know being healthy is is not the easiest thing in the world. There's a lot more convenience that just you know, roll up to McDonald's or Taco Bell or go in eat out food all the time. And you know, I know a lot of people are so I don't have time to cook and prepare. And so pick two days where you really you know, meal prep, like I said, get your glass containers and okay, okay, I'm gonna have
this fruit this day and this vegetable that day. You're gonna have everything set up and already you know, split up for each day. So pick like a Sunday night and a Wednesday night, you know, just to meal prep and get everything ready, and then you might have to cook once in a while just to kind of eat fresh. But you should be able to do a lot of the prepping, just using two days a week there and just have everything you know in good habits. You know, it's like when you
wake up, your body knows. Okay, I know every morning when I wake up, I'm gonna do my oil pulling. Oil pulling is one of the best ways to kill bacteria in your mouth. So you get coconut oil and I put a pinch of tea tree oil and then I swish up all around my mouth, rub it if I use my tongue if I need to, rub it in the gums and get in all the bacteria in the mouth. And in the morning is when you have the most bacteria to what we
want to do is kill off all that bacteria. So oil pulling you just do thirty seconds to two minutes every morning, right when you get up, before you eat, before you swallow, before you talk, and then you spit it out so it doesn't you know, ruin your pipes or anything. So that's called oil pulling. So my brain's just used to it. Right when I get up, I oil pull well, then I have a bowel movement. Then I read at least one or two pages in my book.
Then I enter at least three or four things in my gratitude journal. Then I get ready for the day, do my solat water with the lemon, and then I go exercise. Then I do my little meal prep for the day, shower, do my brain exercises, do my little sun salutations. I get my intentions for the day. And this is all before my family gets up. Now, once my kid's wife gets up, now I'm ready
to be dad mode. You know. Spend time with them at the breakfast table and walk them to the bus stop and you know, go over any homework or any questions they had, had a little fun, you know, spend some quality time with my wife. Then I go to work, get everything done, so you know, I'm getting stuff done before six o'clock. Most people aren't even up yet. That's that power hour. Every morning. You want to start off your day right in a good state, high energy,
good focus, good brain function. You got to create these good habits. You gotta do it every morning, just like you brush your teeth every morning. You got to do these rect of these good habits. Right, that's your power hour, so you're ready to go. And then, you know, like I said, during the day, just make sure you don't do that sedentary lifestyle. That's the worst thing for your brain is just sitting down all day, where our brains are getting worse and worse. We're dying
earlier and earlier every year. People used to live longer and longer. In America, you know, the last couple of years of the first time in the history of mankind where people are actually dying earlier than ever before. In America, we have the worst infant mortality rate of all the developed countries. Our babies die on day one more than any country. We also have the most intervention with our babies, the most c sections, the most induced labors,
the most hospitalizations. You know, the country with the lowest infant mortality rate is the Netherlands. And guess what, the Netherlands is also the number one country for home births. So the country that has the most home births has the least infant mortality rate, and the country that has the most hospitalizations, interventions, c sections, medical inductions, the United States. We have
one of the worst infant mortality rates. So doctors intervened too much. When I had my kids, we had midwives because midwives are trained in natural births, you know, in obgyn they're trained in surgeries. They're trained in doing c sections. I wanted my midwives who are trained on doing the natural birth. Now, how do you know if you have a predisposition to Alzheimer's or demand? You got to do a brain scan. It's called a q EG brain mapping, and that says, Hey, do you have a short term
memory loss, long term memory, working memory problems? Do you have troubles with depression, anxiety, anger, aggression, motivation, executive functions, difficulties, shifting tasks? Do you have hormonal problems, thyroid problems, intestinal inflammation. This is all picked up by the q EEG brain mapping. It tells us do you have heavy metal poison, concussion? Do you have some sort
of infection? Do you have neurotransmitter or dopamine, neuro eperineperaine problem? You know, it tells us all these problems, dizzyness, headaches, tonight is, ringing in the ears, floaters in the eyes, balance problems, walking problems, speech problems, all comes from this q EEG brain mapping. It's non invasive, there's no radiation. It's normally five hundred dollars. But for the first seven people to call her, text or email, they can get
it for only twenty one dollars. All you have to do is caller texts six four six two two one six seven three eight, or you can email info at kaplinbraininbody dot com. take advantage. Just be one of the first seven people to call, text or email and let them know that you want to be one of the first seven people to get it.
