In tonight's message, we see that David is in a predicament, like he always was when Saul was pursuing him. But he found refuge in God, his Helper. Please tune in to another message in the "Tale of Two Kings" series.
The text for this message is Psalm 37, where it says to fret not thyself because of evildoers. What does "fret" mean? You may be surprised to see what it actually means once you listen to this message.

Building off of the message from last week, we learn that God wants to produce fruit in us, but we must let him complete his work in us.

We continue in our "Tale of Two Kings" series in 1 Samuel 22. David seems to be running for his life wherever he goes. But what he doesn't realize is that God is growing him from being a shepherd to being a king.

In John 15, Christ said," I am the true vine." The same way that a grape vine produces grapes, we as Christians are to produce fruit. But we must abide in Christ (the vine), and he will produce the fruit in us, and will prune us to make us what we need to be.
Continuing our series in the book of James, we come to James 4:5-7. James teaches us about our need to be humble and shows us the recipe to humble ourselves. The way to be humble is by submitting to God.
We also take a break from the “Tale of Two Kings” series, and look at spiritual gifts God has given each one of us that is saved, and also look at how we should not neglect these gifts.
Since it is the Christmas season, we have taken a break from our series about Jesus comparing himself to other things, and we look at three gifts given to us from God. The gift of earthly success, eternal salvation, and enabling service.
In this message in the “Tale of Two Kings” series, we see a prayer David made while he was among the Philistines. You can find this prayer in Psalm 34. This message deals with how the Lord can deliver us from affliction.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. These are th words of Jesus, the one whose life was put to death for the salvation of the world. Please listen to this challenge in this message.
"…when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death”(James 1:15). In our Bible study in the book of James, we look at chapter 4, verses 5-10 and realize the grave danger of sinful lust.

Last week, the message was about David fleeing from certain things, and how we need to flee from sin. But this week, the message focuses on what we should and shouldn’t flee to.
The Bible says that Christ is the Light of the world, but it also says that we as Christians are. The question is, are you letting your light shine before men as a Christian?
