Beti Asnake is a black female Physician. I make note of this because being black and female have both had a big impact on her educational experience and her work. Currently, Beti is completing a Fellowship in Global Health & Equity, where she helps resource and train anesthesiologist in low income countries. Today we talk about her journey into medicine, her greatest inspiration, and the challenges and joys of her work.
