Bob at Wonder is no longer sick. We got to spend the other day at the beach, and the weather has been perfect all week long. Sunny skies, perfect temperature, a light breeze, it's been.
Perfect. Let me tell you, I am unsettled. You might ask what else would a superhero sidekick want? Well, I'll tell you. Here we go. What are you going to tell us, Grabstack? I just want to say that while I do like the perfect sunny, cloudless weather and all... Who wouldn't? It's the perfect weather to spend the day outdoors flying around, and that's what I love to do most. Yes, yes, but I must say...
Perfectly sunny weather is not my favorite. In fact, it's kind of boring. How can you think that perfect weather is boring? I don't know. It lacks the drama I so crave. I love a good thunderstorm or a blizzard. Maybe even a light fog. I'm an actor, Bobby Wonder. I need some drama. day after day of bright sunny weather just doesn't cut it. I guess you have a point.
Don't you like it when there's a gripping thunderstorm outside and you just get to stay indoors and read a book and drink hot chocolate with flash marflers while staring dramatically out the window? Uh, no, not really. Ugh. You'll never understand me, Baba Wonder. But it's okay. We can still be best friends. Oh, well, uh, that's good. Let me tell you, the weather we had back on Florp was wild.
with a capital W. Every day was different. We had gas bubble storms and volcanic rumbles. Gas bubble storms? You don't wanna know. Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but today's another day of perfect weather. How dreadful. Hey, it's Lucy Wow. Hey, Bobby Wonder, grab stack. So glad I found you before you set off for the day. Ooh, what's the cool shotted stick you're holding in your hand, Lucy? Sure is purty. This, my friends, is my latest creation. It's called the Weather Wand.
The weather wand? That's just so funny. Grabstack and I were just talking about the weather since it's another perfectly sunny, cloudless day. You sick of the perfect weather, too? Actually, I am. We need to mix it up. That's what inspired me to make this. This is a magical, meteorologic rod, and with just a flick of your wrist, this wand gives you the power to change the weather. What?
That's amazing. Thank you. I know. I wanted you two to be the first to test it out. Ooh, yes. That sounds fun. Time to change up this boring sunny weather. I guess. You really want to ruin such a perfect day? Bobby Wonder, it's important to have variety in all things. Food, clothes, jobs, hairstyles, socks, and even the weather. Luce, can I do the honors? Absolutely.
Here you go. The weather wand feels right at home in my hand, even though it's the same height as me. Now, grabstack, all you have to do is swish your wrist while thinking of the weather you want. But be careful. Sometimes it can be a bit sensitive. Maybe start with a drizzle, Grabstack. Good idea. A drizzle? But it could be so much more. Fine. A drizzle it is.
It worked. Of course it worked. Goodbye, sunny weather. I already miss you. And now I'm wet. You'll dry off eventually, Bobby. Okay, so the drizzle worked. Let's do something a bit more creative. A bit more dramatic. A bit more... grab-stack. Shall we? Here we go. Rainbows! It's so beautiful. I've seen rainbows before. Even double rainbows. But never have I seen 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 rainbows. I don't even know what to call it. A duo duceple rainbow. Unheard of.
I didn't even think about how this weather wand could create weather patterns we've never even seen before. The possibilities are endless. This is the best gift ever. Gift? I'm letting you borrow. it to test out, but then I'm going to need it back. Yeah, Grabstack, maybe you should give the weather wand back to Lucy now. One more swish, please! Okay, fine. One more swish. Yay!
Okay, hmm, what to do now? Looking top 12 rainbows in a row. Ooh, maybe something a bit more action-packed. A thunderstorm, perhaps. Crabstack, wait. We're getting soaked. And watch out for that lightning bolt. Whoops. I don't want to get electrocuted. Should have thought of that before swishing. Here, take one of my electric-proof umbrellas. They'll protect us from the lightning.
What are these umbrellas made out of? They are made of rubber, which is a non-conductive material so the electricity of lightning strikes can't flow through them. Genius! Now the... Maybe making a thunderstorm wasn't the best idea. What about a blizzard instead? A blizzard? Wait... So cold. I'm not properly dressed. Yeah, it sure is cold. You caused this. Here, take these snow jackets and hats. Thanks, Lucy.
You sure are prepared for everything, Lucy Wow. I didn't make a magical meteorological wand without any safeguards. All sorts of weather gear here in my bag for any type of weather. Much better. Now, should we... Ouch! Hey, who just threw a snowball at me? It was moi! Snow day! Snowball fight! Hey, I'm gonna get you, Grabstack! I always love snow days. Me too. Dodge this giant snowball grab stack. What? That's a huge snowball. That's not fair. You have super strength. All the way.
It swished the weather when you got hit with a snowball. What were you thinking about, Grubstack? I was trying to twist out of the way, and it's a twister! with a giant snowball that caused the weather one to fly out of my hand, but not before conjuring up a tornado. Oh, it's headed this way. Let's take a break as we run away.
After Bob hit me with a giant snowball, I lost a grip of the weather wand, but not before accidentally conjuring up a tornado. Now we're running away from the twisting winds. Lucy, Grabstack, come with me. I can fly us away from the tornado. Play for lizards! Those winds sure are twisting! Bobby, you can really fly through anything. How are you withstanding these winds? This isn't too bad.
Too bad. In fact, you two wait here in this safe haven. I think I can take this tornado on by myself. Bob and Wonder, be careful. Bob and Wonder. Wonder has just somehow grabbed the tornado from the bottom. And he's pushing the tornado back up into the sky. Unbelievable. Now this is superhero stuff. The tornado. Bobby Wonder has defeated it! He did it! Bobby Wonder! You did it! You took down a tornado! No big deal. And actually, I took it up.
Um, yeah, it's a very big deal. I just used my super strength and breath to push the wind back in the opposite direction and back up into the sky. I've never seen anything like that before. Quite impressive. Almost makes me want to be a superhero again. It's not so shabby. So now what? Hey, where's the weather wand? It flew away during the tornado. I have no idea where it is. I'm so sorry, Lucy. It's okay. That's on me. I probably shouldn't have made the weather wand have the ability to make...
All kinds of weather. Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes. That's just not necessary. Earthquakes? No, thank you. That's why I'm glad I tested it first with you two. Good to have one of the testers be a superhero. Now I can take it back to the big red barn and tinker with it so it can only make small weather changes.
It is after we find it. It could be anywhere in Pflugerville. Those tornado winds were pretty strong. Did you all hear that? Did you all see that? Banana stand, lady! Oh, hey, number one fan. How are you? Uh, you know, just... Out flew a tornado. A tornado? I knew it. I thought I saw one in the distance, but Miss Quill, the librarian, insisted it was a figment of my imagination.
Well, was it a figment of my imagination when all her books went flying everywhere in a gust of wind? The tornado went by the library? I don't know. I guess. I was trying to find a book about how to grow a banana tree when all the books in the library suddenly got swirled around in a gust of wind. I even saw a weird gleaming rod thingamajig.
But Miss Quill insisted it wasn't a tornado. Ha! She was wrong. I'm gonna go tell her. I love telling people they're wrong. Did you say you saw a weird gleaming ride thingamajing? I did. But that's not important, Bobby Wonder. What's important is proving that I was right. Come with me so I have backup. Yes, we found my weather wand. It must be in the library. Let's follow Banana Stand Lady.
Miss Quill! Miss Quill! Shh! Not so loud! The library may be a mess, but it's still a library, and you, banana stand lady... are quite loud. Well, you, Miss Quill, are quite wrong. Huh? It was a tornado that went by here. My number one fan confirmed it. It's true! I accidentally conjured up a tornado using Lucy Wow's weather wand, and then Boba Wonder wrestled it back into the sky. See? So you're the reason my books are all over the place? Sorry about that, Miss Quill.
I can help pick them all up. That would be nice. There. All the books are back on their shelves. But are they in the right place? Um... I will sort it out. You've done enough. Are you sure, Miss Quill? We can help you sort out your books. No, no. I'd much rather do it myself. You all are too loud. This is a library after all. Now?
Off you go. Wait, have you seen a gleaming wand anywhere around the library? Oh, that? I gave it to that precocious little girl with the robot. She said it was hers. Little girl? Robot? You don't mean. You can't mean... Mighty Mayla! Mighty Mayla has... Lucy Wow's weather wand. This is bad news. Things are surely going to get more chaotic now. We need to find and stop mighty Mela before she destroys the town. This requires a part two.
