Episode 286: Sam Gullman, Purple Lantern Games

Sam Gullman is the designer of The Presence and CEO of Purple Lantern Games. He is running the small publisher with Leonie Magnusson, a studio based in Sweden that focuses on dark and thematic hobby board games. He has a lifelong experience as a hobby board gamer, but also plays tabletop RPG's. In his dayjob he works as an automotive engineer creating next generation electric vehicles, focused on heatpumps and thermal system design.

The Presence is a Victorian ghost horror board game currently in its final days on Kickstarter, is a strategy game featuring elements of deduction and one-versus-all mechanisms.
