Episode description

Blynd Submyshynz is a podcast from the wild minds of Jeff Wilson (KOOK, Glory or Death Records, Heavy San Jose) and JD Norton (Heavy San Jose). Our goal is to expose you to new music in the DIY scene, and hang out with musicians we know or want to know better. Every week we'll take submissions from any band who finds our email address ([email protected])...listen to them for the first time with our special guest and give honest reactions, and talk about things affecting DIY musicians around the globe.

In the second episode of Blynd Submyshynz, we talk to our buddy Jake Kilgore of Sacramento's Chrome Ghost about:

What he's listening to these days, with a special appearance by birthday boy Ryan Schutte of Pound!
https://pound.bandcamp.com/album/-

Our blind submissions:
Terminus by All Meridians
Giver Taker by Anjimile
Doomsday! by Night Palm
Fade to Black by Incursion
Renegade Breakdown by Marie Davidson and L'Ciel Nu
Nowhere but Up by Sorcia

We also take a trip to the merch table to see what new stuff Jeff and JD got this week get a peek at 2 versions of the Vinyl for Chrome Ghost's record. We talk to Jake about making music, progress on Chrome Ghost's next record, and we listen to Halo off of The Diving Bell. It's a brilliant piece of crushing and sad but also ethereal and uplifting heavy goodness, and you should clean out their bandcamp store so we get the next record that much sooner.
