¶ Backyard Pizza Shop Opens
This episode of Bluey is called Pizza Girl. It's a sunny day in the backyard of the Healer household, and Bluey and Bingo are setting up for a fun afternoon of play. They've decided to run a pizza shop, and Dad is their first customer. With the backyard transformed into a pizzeria, the girls are ready to take on their roles as pizza makers and deliverers.
Dad pretends to call in his order. Ring ring, ring ring, he says, mimicking a phone. Hello, pizza shop, would you like to order a pizza? Bluey asks. Yes, please, I want one supreme with no mushrooms, Dad replies. Bluey nods. Do you want garlic bread? Yeah, I want garlic bread, Dad says. You got it. It'll be there soon. Bluey assures him, hanging up the imaginary phone. She turns to Bingo. One supreme pizza, please, pizza girl, no mushrooms.
Okay, Bingo replies, excited to start making the pizza out of a pile of mud. As they work, Bingo suggests, Can we pretend we're sisters and our mum owns the pizza shop? Bluey's eyes light up. Oh yeah, and we're gonna run it for her so she can go on holiday. Yeah, to Italy, Bingo asks. Meanwhile, Dad sets up the fire pit in the yard as Bluey and Bingo make their mud pizzas. Bluey takes charge of the garlic bread while Bingo carefully places the pizza into an empty pizza box.
Garlic bread's finished, Bluey announces. Great, don't forget the free drink, Bingo reminds her, filling an empty bottle with dirt and water. With everything ready, Bluey drives her toy car to Dad's location across the yard. Here's your pizza, she says, handing over the box. Dad inspects it. Oh, nice one. No mushrooms? No mushrooms.
¶ New Electric Car Challenges
Bluey confirms. Great, Dad says, reaching for the box, but Bluey pulls it back. No no, you can't have the box. It's our only one, she insists. So what do I do? Dad asks, confused. Just take the pizza, Bluey replies. Uh okay, Dad says, carefully taking the mud pizza out of the box, getting his hands dirty in the process. He recoils in disgust. Ugh, ah man he groans, but Bluey is already driving off, calling out Thanks, bye
Returning to the pizza shop, Bluey's car wheel falls off. Aw not again, Bingo offers. Oh I can fix it. As Bingo gets to work on the car, Bluey asks Mom, Can we get a new car? Mum, nostalgic, replies, Aw, but you've had pedley since you were two. But the wheel keeps falling off, Bluey complains. Mom smiles. I know, but there's just a lot of stories in that car. How can a car?
Stories, Bluey asks, curious. Before Mum can answer, Bingo triumphantly announces Fixed Mum smiles. Ah, there you go. See? Good as new. Suddenly, Muffin zooms into the scene, crashing into Bluey's car. Ah, is my car scratched? Muffin asks loudly. Bluey, regaining composure, asked Muffin, What is this, Muffin? It's an electric car. My dad bought a new car, and this came with it, Muffin proudly explains. Bingo, amazed, adds, Whoa, it drives without pedals.
Seeing an opportunity, Bluey asks, Can we play Pizza Girls on it? Muffin agrees. Okay. Hooray. Both Bluey and Bingo shout.
¶ Mushroom Prank and Car Fix
As they prepare for the next delivery, Bluey realizes Hmm, there's no roof to stick the pizza sign on. It's a convertible, Muffin explains the thing. Bluey decides, okay, well, I guess we don't need to use it. She pretends to call the parents on the phone. Hello, customers. But the adults are distracted by Uncle Stripe talking about his own new car, so no one answers Bluey's call.
Muffin decides to go ask the parents directly and drives off quickly. Wait, Muffin, no, we're meant to do it over the phone, Bluey protests, but it's too late. Muffin immediately returns and reports they want a sepoin. Okay, one supreme, Blueie says. Thanks, pizza sisters. As they prepare their pizza, Bingo shares, Our mom started this pizza shop. She worked really hard, so we're trying to give her a holiday.
Wow, we're gonna deliver pizzas fast now, Bluey says, excited about using Muffin's electric car. But as Bluey is about to place the pizza into the car, Muffin stops her. Ah, stop. What's wrong? Bluey asked. You can't bring mud in the new car,'cause it's very expensive, Muffin explains. Disappointed, Bluey asks, Well what do we do? We have to play something else, Muffin decides. All three girls sigh.
Bluey asks, Well what else do you play in it? I usually just drive around, Muffin replies. Okay, let's do that, Bluey agrees. As Bingo tries to climb in, Muffin insists. Wipe your feet Sorry, Bingo says, quickly wiping her muddy feet before getting in. With everyone ready, Bluey tells Muffin, just don't go too fat. But before she can finish, Muffin zooms off, leaving the girls laughing and screaming with nervous excitement.
They drive around the yard having a blast, but when the car runs out of battery, Bluey and Bingo suggest returning to their pizza game while they wait. So back at the pizza shop, Dad calls in another order. Bluey answers, so that's one supreme pizza with extra pineapple. Yep, but no mushrooms. You hear me? Dad warns. Got it, Bluey responds confidently. Dad threatens. If you put mushrooms on it, I'm gonna Okay, bye. Bluey interrupts, hanging up the phone with a giggle.
Bingo suggests Let's put mushrooms on it. Bluey and Sox agree, and they sneakily add the forbidden mushrooms to their muddy concoction. Muffin asks, Bluey, who can I be? Well, I need to fix my delivery car. You can be the mechanic, Bluey replies. Okay, Muffin agrees. As Muffin fixes the car, Bingo and Sox finish up the pizza. Ready, they all cheer as Bluey prepares to make the delivery. Bluey wheels over to Dad, who eagerly awaits his pizza. Here's your pizza, she says, handing over the box.
Dad opens the box, delighted at first. Ah great, extra pineapple. But then he notices something. Hey, hang on. What are these? Bingo grins. Enjoy the mushrooms, she says as Bluey wheels away quickly, knowing what's coming. Dad chases after her, shouting, Aw you little he throws the pizza in playful frustration as the girls giggle. Later, as the fun winds down, Bluey's car wheel falls off again. Oop.
Mum suggests, Oh dear, maybe it is time for a new car, Bluey. Bluey shakes her head firmly. No way, I've had Pedley since I was two. She then uses her playphone to call for help. Hello, mechanic, I've broken down. Muffin drives over to assist. Hi, I'm here to fix your car, she says, getting right to work. Mum is impressed and exclaims, My goodness, that was quick. Muffin fixes the wheel and proudly announces Fixed Bluey beams with pride. There you go. Good as new.
The day may have brought challenges, but in the end, the girls' creativity and teamwork made it an adventure to remember.
