The Great Toy Chuck-Out Dilemma

This episode of Bluey is called Mr. Monkey Joe. The healer house was filled with the usual playful chaos as Blueie sat in the playroom, happily circling her favourite toys in a catalogue. Ooh, I definitely want that one, she said, marking a rainbow teddy bear. She continued circling toys lost in her imagination. Meanwhile, Dad wasn't as enthusiastic about the state of the playroom. Toys were everywhere, littering the floor and covering every surface.

He stepped into the room, toys under his arm, only to step on a squeaky echidna. Ow! Biscuits he went. As Dad tried to gather up the toys, Bingo wandered in, dragging her feet. I'm bored, she announced, looking at the mountain of toys without a hint of excitement. Dad sighed. gesturing to the mess. How can you be bored with this many toys? he asked, clearly puzzled. But Bingo just shrugged as if none of them were interesting any more.

Then Bingo held up the toy catalog, hopeful. Dad, can you buy me this Tommy Teddy, this Starlight Unicorse, and this Rainbow Boo Bear? she asked, pointing to her carefully circled toys. Dad, already overwhelmed by the mess, shook his head. No, you kids have got too many toys. He opened the cupboard to stash more toys away, but as soon as he opened the door, an avalanche of toys buried him. A wind up doll activated, repeating I love you, mamma, I love you.

Mama, as it bumped against Dad's head. That's it, Dad declared, emerging from the pile of toys. We're having a chuckout. Mum entered the playroom, smiling at Dad's determination to tidy up. We'll keep all the special toys, but the rest are going to needy kids, she explained, standing next to the huge pile of toys with Bluey and Bingo. Both kids looked horrified. But we're needy kids, Bluey protested, her arms crossed in defiance. No, you're spoiled kids, Dad corrected with a grin.

Bluey looked confused, not quite understanding what that meant, but she knew she didn't like the sound of it. Dad wasted no time grabbing an owl plushie from the pile and tossing it into the chuck basket. But Bluey wasn't having it. She gasped dramatically. Snowy's special and quickly placed it in the keep basket. Dad sighed, realizing this wasn't going to be easy.

After the healers went through all of the toys, somehow only one ended up in the chuck basket, while the rest were deemed too special by the kids and landed in the keep basket. But then Bingo raced to rescue the single Chuck Toy, a monkey wearing jocks, hugging the stuffy tightly. mister Monkey Jocks is special, she declared, with a serious expression.

Dad crossed his arms, feeling the challenge building. Well, you'd better show me he's special if you want to keep him, he said, raising an eyebrow. With that, Bluey and Bingo giggled and dashed off, determined to prove Mr Monkey Jock's work. Dad watched them go, knowing he'd set himself up for something big.

Mr. Monkeyjocks' Reign of Specialness

Soon, mister Monkey Jocks had taken over the entire healer household. At breakfast, Dad found the toy sitting in his chair at the dining table, with a plate of food in front of him. That monkey's in my chair, Dad exclaimed, but Bluey responded matter of factly. It's his chair now. Dad reluctantly sat on the floor, stabbing at his sausage with a fork.

Is there any more bacon? he asked, only to watch as Bluey placed the last piece on mister Monkey Jock's plate. Not for you, floor boy, she teased, making Bingo giggle. Later, the family visited an indoor playground, and even there, Mr. Monkey Jogs was the star of the show. Blewy and Bingo had the toy operate a ball cannon, shooting towards Dad, and as balls flew everywhere, Dad found himself running in circles, dodging the barrage. Ah ow, he cried, barely avoiding the chaos.

Back home, things only escalated further. Mr. Monkey Jocks lounged in the sunroom wearing dad's sunglasses and enjoying a fancy drink, while Bluey massaged his feet and bingo served him with great care. Has anyone seen my sonnies? Dad asks, only to see the monkey wearing them, clearly annoyed with the extent of the kid's joke. You said we have to treat him special, Bluey reminded him with a grin.

Mum was fully in on the joke now too. How's my little monkey man? She cooed, walking past Dad to give Mr. Monkey Jocks a loving hug. Dad was stunned. That's my wife, he protested, but Bluey just giggled. Not anymore. Mom married Mr. Monkey Jaw. The toy's reign continued as the kids asked Dad to be mister Monkey Juck's butler.

Realizing he could use this to his advantage, Dad played along. How may I be of service, sir? he asked. The girls giggled as Dad began carrying out the monkey's every demand. Some of these demands included taking over Bluey's bed and dressing him in Chutney Chimp suit and Lady Sparkle Hound's hat.

Learning the Lesson of True Specialness

Suddenly, Bluey didn't like how special mister Monkey Jocks was and told Dad, You can't just give him stuff because he says he wants it. Eventually, Bluey had had enough of the Speaking directly to mister Monkey Jocks, she declared firmly, It's time for a certain someone to find somewhere else to live, determined to take charge.

But Dad, still playing the role of the monkey's butler, threw Bluey and Bingo out of the house instead. I didn't mean us, Bluey shouted, standing on the front porch in disbelief. Mum joined the girls outside and explained We spoiled mister Monkey Jocks, and now look what happened, trying to explain the intangible concept of being spoiled to Bluey and Bingo. Eventually, the girls grasped the concept and realized that when you have everything you want, nothing feels special anymore.

Realizing their mistake, the family decided to donate their toys to others who might need them. Let's give someone else a turn at feeling special, Blueie suggested, and together they packed up bags of toys and dropped them off at a donation bin. In a hospital room not far away, a young boy sat in his hospital bed looking a little down when his mom walked in with a gift bag. Now don't get too excited. It's just something I found in the op shop.

she said softly. Curious, the boy peeked inside, and his eyes lit up as he pulled out a toy. It's a monkey said the boy excitedly. Wearing chalks, added the mum. The boy's face beamed with joy as he hugged the toy tightly. I love him! he exclaimed, holding Mr. Monkey Jog's clothes. At last mister Monkey Jocks had found a new home where he could truly be special once again.
