Welcome to Blueprint Japan, a podcast about building a life and business in Japan, honestly and from the ground up.

My name is Oğuzhan. Born and raised in a Turkish household in Switzerland, now based in Tokyo. A few years ago, I came to Japan as a tourist, and ended up becoming the first person in the country to receive the J-FIND visa. Since then, I’ve been navigating everything from starting a creative studio to figuring out daily life in a place I admire.

This show is about building in public. There’s no hype, no hacks, just real conversations, personal learnings, and stories from others doing meaningful work. Some episodes are solo: the habits that help, the mistakes I’ve made, and what I’m still figuring out. Other times, I sit down with founders, mentors, friends, and creatives, people who are kind enough to share what goes on behind the scenes.

Whether you’re just starting out, considering moving to Japan, or wondering if you should stay, my hope is this podcast makes your journey feel a little less lonely, and a lot more doable.
