Bleed Blue, Live Green, Play Red Hot - September 2023

The first Blue Devil 360 of the new season features senior Alayna Burns, a student-athlete with such a passion for activism and environmental sustainability that she’s been named a finalist for a worldwide Green Sport Award. Hear about what she’s doing on campus as well as in field hockey for a Top 10 team off to a red-hot start. This edition also includes conversations with two football Jakes — grad transfer Jake Hornibrook from Stanford who is holding down the right tackle position for the equally red-hot Duke football team, and former Blue Devil captain Jake Bobo who managed the difficult task of making an NFL roster (Seattle) as an undrafted free agent and this week celebrated his first pro touchdown.
