The Huthi militia in Yemen has vowed to retaliate after US military strikes on targets controlled by the group on Sunday, a US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the strikes will be unrelenting until the militant stopped shooting at civilian and military vessels in the Red Sea. Here is Hegseth speaking on Fox News.

This campaign is about freedom of navigation and restoring deterrence. The minute the Houthies say we'll stop shooting at your ships, we'll stop shooting at your drones, this campaign will end. But until then it will be unrelenting.

That is US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth speaking earlier on Fox News Now. According to the Houthi controlled Saba news agency, the ruling political council said maritime operations will continue until the Gaza blockade is lifted. President Trump may be speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week as the US pushes for a quick ceasefire to end the war in Ukraine. That's according to White House Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff. Here is Whitcoff speaking with CNN's State of the Union.

I expect that there'll be a call with both presidents this week, and we're also continuing to engage and have conversation with the Ukrainians.

of the Trendiraguo gang. This has raised concern about whether the Trump administration violated a court order. Earlier, a federal district judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking the government from deporting any migrants under the Alien Enemies Act of seventeen ninety eight. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netnyah, who is planning to fire Ronan Barr, the head of the Domestic

Security Service. Shin bet net Yahu and Barr have quarreled over the responsibility for the October seventh attack and for hostage negotiations. Barr is intending to fight his dismissal, citing his duty to complete key investigations, bringing home hostages and preparing for a possible resumption of combat in Gaza. We moved to markets next. It's a busy economic calendar that begins without look at retail sales on Monday, as well as business inventories and Empire manufacturing. Tuesday we get housing starts, industrial production, and the import price Index. Wednesday, the Federal Reserve is out with an interest rate decision. It'll be followed by a news conference which shared your own Powell. We'll also hear from the Bank of Japan. Thursday is the Bank of England's turn, along with the report on existing home sales

Radio Equity markets in the Asia Pacific are at higher levels this hour on where the China will be taking steps to revive consumption by boosting people's incomes and at the same time, according to Shinwan News, authorities will be unveiling plans later today to stabilize both the Chinese stock and real estate market, which takes us next to the monthly activity data for China in the months of January

and February. These numbers topped estimates industrial output up at an annual rate of five point nine percent that's year on year, retail sales rising four percent, and fixed investment in the January February period was up at an annual rate of four point one percent. However, the survey jobless rate rising to five point four percent at the end of February. The estimate was looking for five point one percent.

Another round of storms swept across the US Midwest and South today, bringing violent tornadoes, high winds, and blinding dust storms. At least thirty seven people have died across several states. Multiple structures have been destroyed. Here is Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves.
