Are we turned to another issue and Washington, d C. Alex Wayne Are a white House editor for a Bloomberg News. He can be followed on Twitter at A A Wayne and he's here to tell us more about politics. All right, Alex. A shake up in the Trump campaign again, Right, go ahead. Paul Manafourt, the campaign chairman, resigned today, the day after Trump layered over some some new executives to to help

run his campaign. Uh, and the day after damaging report was published by the Associated Press essentially alleging that Manaford had had violated federal law and the violation would be related to his work for a pro Russian party in the Ukraine. That's right, the the AP. Uh. It's interesting. The APE has been reporting on this story for a while and their leads have gotten increasingly aggressive. They sort of they sort of the previous stories hadn't really asserted

that that Manafort had violated the law. They've been a little bit cagy about it because they don't think they were sure. Today's Today's story or the story that published last night, flat out said that it appeared that Manafort should have registers a foreign agent for Ukraine and did not tell us about this. In the context of the changes in the Trump campaign with the appointment I believe of Stephen Bannon, the had the executive from Breitbart News

and also the polster Kelly and Conway as the campaign manager. Yeah, you know, Trump had had created this kind of what looked like a fairly unworkable leadership situation where where he had all of these people who generally kind of had campaign manager titles. So it makes sense that that one of them had to go. And since since Bannon and Conway are the new ones, it's not surprising that Manafort would step down. It's hard to tell how much of

this Ukraine stuff influenced Trump's decision. I'm not sure he cares much at all about that. What is Mr Banion's reputation within the ranks of the Republican Party such as Paul Ryan, Representative and the leading Republican in the House, flamethrower thorn in their side? Um, he's he's a headache for establishment Republicans. He had he had reporters from his his News organization earlier this year go to go to Paul Ryan's home in Wisconsin and make a big deal

about the wall that surrounds Ryan's house. Uh as kind of a ploy to pressure Ryan to to back Trump's proposal to bill a wall in the Mexican border. So he's not a popular guy among establishment Republicans. Well, this hurt Republicans who are running on the ticket with Trump, meaning congress people, congress men and women, and also senators. Depends on whether Trump loses. I guess he's uh, he's

still well behind in the polls. I don't he gave an interesting speech last night, or he made this kind of vague apology for some of his pastorate marks didn't specify which ones. He didn't specify who he was apologying to apologizing to exactly, but it was It was definitely a change in tone from Donald from the Donald Trump we've seen previously. A lot of people think maybe this polster prompted that change. It's um, it doesn't seem like

something that that Steve Bannon would have pressed for. But if he continues down that path, uh, perhaps he starts to peel off especially Republican too who have abandoned him for for Hillary Clinton. Perhaps they go the other way as as a new Donald Trump emerges in the campaign, just give you about forty seconds here. The Clinton campaign and the Clinton Foundation explained going on there. The foundation announced today that if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, it'll

stop accepting foreign in corporate donations. UH. This is supposed to mitigate some of the ethical issues that have been raised. There's a lot of thinking that that donors have given money to the Clinton Foundation merely as a way to cray favorite with the Clinton's I don't see it really relieving Hillary Clinton of those ethical of this ethical cloud. I think probably the only solution is to shut down

the foundation altogether. Interesting. Thank you very much.
