Episode description

In this week's episode of the Block Exploring Podcast, Tommy (@sabaisquared) and Elias (@otokocrypto) discuss the state of the market.

Everything went down about 10-20% this week, BTC fell to price levels seen at the start of the month. Overall the market was in for a correction, and a lot of large crypto analysts such as Rauol Paul predicted this.

In other news, we discuss Tether and its money printing. Tether is a centralized service operating in a decentralized space. Is cutting corners via ‘semi’  decentralization a good move? Is printing Tether without underlying assets support a good idea? Find out on this episode!

This same tendency towards decentralization and web2.5 is what we see happen for services such as Discord, TikTok, and Reddit. Most notably the Discord sign-in blowback we saw this past week. What do you think, should eth wallet be seen as a valid login feature to the Discord ecosystem?

Tune in to find out!
