She is the author of How To Have Your Cake & Not Eat It All Too - Adult Bulimia Recovery Guide and soon to be the author of Sherri's World, a fiction based on her story of struggling with bulimia for 30 years and the 13 years of living as a recovered bulimic.   LaurieAnn is the author of "Hampy" (which includes her illustrated character), Publisher's Award-Winning book Make Up Not Required - How To Brand The True You, and contributing author to the #1 Best Seller 1 Habit for Entrepreneurial Success by Forbes Riley & Steve Samblis.

Bleep Bulimia Episode Six On Anger

Send us a text In this episode I speak about the feelings of anger. How do you deal with it? I find that when I was bulimic my temperament was worse. In fact I remember my mother noticing that I was not that "nice young girl" anymore and I even started to talk back to her, which I didn't do before. How I deal with it today is much different then when I was bulimic. Of course, as you would guess, when I was bulimic, a binge/purge session would follow, which of course was just "feeding in to" my m...

Bleep Bulimia Episode Five On Chests (boobs) and Fears

Send us a text In this episode I bring a strange topic of boobs and how they objectify femininity, and how my sister and I agree we don't like them. I am grateful for them, in as far as I know that some people would be happy to have them. In our case, we don't see the purpose. It is not meant to offend anyone, it is meant to be put out there to share because it's very possible if two of us feel that way, others do too. I am asking if any my listeners are interested in specific topics to speak ab...

If I didn't speak to this, I would not be so aware of how many are affected by bulimia. Thank you Whitnie. ...

Bleep Bulimia Episode Three with Host LaurieAnn About Her 30 Year Journey As A Bulimic

Send us a text What a whirwind of a life I have lived. Even with my bulimia, I achieved so much. Yet I look back and think of how much more I could have enjoyed life without it and without the need to present myself as "perfect" and "successful". I took on so much. I didn't stop to smell the roses. I overwhelmed myself trying to please everyone but myself. Having said that, yesterday is to learn from, and being in the present is what is most important. My present is one without bulimia, and the ...
