Episode description

DeAndre Hopkins was as good as advertised in his first season with the Tennessee Titans. In his first full offseason with them, he is showing that he is nothing like the sullen, disinterested participant, as he was portrayed at other stops in his career. ... This week, the veteran wide receiver answered questions about Treylon Burks, Tennessee's 2022 first-round pick, and then took to social media a day later to clarify his remarks with the assessment that no one in the locker room is sleeping on the player who has been pushed down the positional depth chart due to a couple of notable offseason acquisitions. ... With Hopkins, Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd, Tennessee seemingly has the best wide receiver trio of its Titans era (1999-present). Is there any other trio that even comes close? Does this mean a traditionally run-first franchise will throw the ball a lot more this season. ... After last week's schedule release, Marcus Mosher of The 33rd Team called the Titans "a sleeper team" but also predicted they would finish last in ther AFC South. Those two things seem to be counterintuitive, but it is also to understand the thinking behind each.
