Episode 34 - Born Ready to Fight (Pt. 1)

We know that a lot of people are pushed to get an education to further themselves but unfortunately, so many qualified people are unable to do so because of money. So for kids who don’t come from money, a full tuition scholarship is the key to success and happiness right? Well...yes and no. In this two part episode we explained the extremely low lows of life after the golden scholarship and how we got through it. I think the reason why we’re sharing our personal journey can be summed up by a quote from Elaine Welteroth: “It’s important to leave signposts along the journey of success for those who come after you.” So, to all the black girls that come after us, do not worry sis.
