As we immerse ourselves in Women's History Month, our guest for today, International Women's Day, is LaToya Archibald.  LaToya serves as doula and birth justice advocate. She is committed to eliminating the maternal mortality rates for Black women in Washington, DC through providing emotional support, physical comfort measures, an objective viewpoint and evidenced based information while nurturing and protecting women's memories of their birth experiences. She moved to Washington DC in 2003 to attend Howard University and has spent the last 11 years working in educational equity, environmental justice and development.
