Episode 8 - Dean De Landre

On this Episode I was lucky enough to sit down with Dean De Landre at his studio in Geelong. 

Dean is an artist currently based in Torquay who’s work is inspired by the natural world through the lens of pop culture. Dean has worked with the likes of Mindhead and has a upcoming exhibition at China Heights Gallery in Sydney. We talk about his interest in the intersection between nostalgia, pop culture and the natural world, his move to Torquay, his love for finding inspiration for projects at op shops, how different subcultures influenced his love for painting, how he moves In the current digital age, upcoming shows and more.
