Rhys Darby is a comedian, actor and writer from New Zealand, best known for his roles in Flight of the Concords, Wrecked and big-screen roles in Jumanji, Yes Man, Hunt for the Wilderpeople and What we do in the Shadows. Rhys is also a prolific stand-up, writer and artist. We talked to Rhys about his love of British sitcoms, especially Dad's Army and Some Mother's do Ave'em and how these shaped his journey into comedy. He tells us about being part of the blossoming comedy scene in New Zealand and why it is so important to be silly.
