This episode with George Gipson was insightful! After moving to Florida George saw his family have multiple businesses and rental properties. Most importantly, they had time freedom, seeing this impacted him as an adult. 

While he was working for the post office, he listened to the Bigger Pockets podcast everyday as he was working his route. After his first house increased in value, he sold it and used the money to get a duplex. In two years, he has grown his portfolio to 8 doors and is currently investing full-time.
