Don't forget to subscribe, leave a rating and a 5-star review. I will be shouting out all 5-star reviews on the show!

This episode is my first solo episode since the beginning of the year. In this episode I go over 3 tips to find your first tenant. I also talked more about my newest course, A Beginner's Guide to Finding Your First Tenant". You can pre-order the course at the link below.

The 3 tips I discussed were, where to post your listing, how to determine rent and how to collect applications. I also discuss the mistakes I made when placing my most recent tenant so that you can learn from them.

Highlights

1) If you want to find out what rents are for the area you're in, check Zillow. It can give you an idea of what you can charge for rent.

2)  Facebook Marketplace is a good place to post your rental listing. You can talk to people in the app, send applications etc.

3) Apartments.com is an easy platform to use to accept applications. If you use it, make sure tenants know there is a fee.
