Taj & Eddie George

When they first met neither Eddie nor Taj were ordinary people. Eddie was a star running back for The Ohio State University and Taj was 1/3 of R&B group SWV.  Their first meeting in 1994 Taj didn't give Eddie the time of day. Their second meeting in 1995 didn't fair much better. What did it take for these two to finally come together and what hardships came along the way? In this 2017 interview from the second season of Black Love Doc, Taj and Eddie share how a pro NFL star and a music sensation led to a long term long distance relationship, what pushed them to get married, and how hard it was for them to navigate their new marriage and pregnancy together while keeping their professional dreams alive.
