Hello friends , this is just a really quick episode to hop on here and wish you a very , very happy new year 2024 , a brand new year . There's lots of exciting things coming up for the podcast . I hope that you'll be here to join me for them , and I have been looking at recipes and guests to interview for the upcoming year .
I have a couple guests already lined up to go , but if there's any guests that you would love to see on the show , please let me know .
I would love to hear from you and I'm certainly interested in interviewing people that you want to hear from , and , of course , I'm always looking for fun and interesting episode or sorry recipes that will inspire you to get in the kitchen and try something different .
When it comes to making edibles , and as a sort of preview of some of the things I'm thinking about making , I mean my list of episodes and recipes that I work with tend to change based on how I'm feeling , what I'm doing , my inspiration , my headspace , like all these things have an influence , but I come across things I'm like , ooh , I want to make that ,
and so some of the things I'm thinking about right now are recipes like honey feta bites . Doesn't that sound amazing . Or how about infused baklava , maybe some vegan edibles , deviled eggs , a foie gras pâté as a couple of ideas ? I've also sort of saved recipes like citrus glazed carrots and chicken paprika . So those are just a few ideas .
Actually , I also have some Haitian meatloaf . I actually love a really good meatloaf , jerk cauliflower , wild mushroom risotto .
I mean , there's always so many things , and you may have noticed that a lot of the ones that I just listed off are primarily savory as opposed to sweet , which may be a little bit of a departure for me , although the honey feta bites are probably more on the sweet side .
But I am just so interested in getting into the realm of edibles and all its many myriad forms , and a lot of the times that branches out beyond the traditional pot brownie that we're also familiar with , and I just love to show people how varied and interesting edibles really can be , because when you get the techniques down , you can really hone in on some
pretty interesting stuff . That's what I'm here for and that's what I want to share with you .
So please let me know if there's anything you would love to see , a recipe or a guess in the upcoming year , and , of course , I hope you are enjoying lots of wonderful edibles over this holiday season and enjoying time with friends and family , and I'm wishing you a very happy new year . Until next week , my friends , you know what to do . Stay high .
