Ram tries to prepare his ship for a deep dive but realizes he needs some crucial parts. The Scarlet Skull gang asks an old friend for help and adventure to the wreckage of Zyle's crashed ship to look for what Ram needs. But the ride home may get them caught or force them to confront some painful truths about Driggit, the Jedi and the future of Lonisa City.
Meanwhile, Niv Drendow continues his tour of Lonisa City with his mystery case, and what's inside could mean the end of the Scarlet Skulls and the Jedi presence left on Valo. Flashbacks reveal Niv's part in the disappearance of the Valo temple Jedi and the hard decisions the Jedi made that led to Driggit joining the Nihil.
Gavi faces hard emotions about himself, the Force, his feelings for Kildo and the secret he's been hiding from his friends, and Zyle attempts to figure out what that secret is.
