We're taking you back to Sundance 2020 where we chatted with Michael Almereyda, director of the biographical drama, Tesla. This film chronicles the life of a young Nikola Tesla, through the eyes of Anne Morgan (the daughter of J.P. Morgan). He gets into how the screenplay evolved through the years, why now is the perfect time for this film to come out, what it was like working with powerhouse actors like Ethan Hawke, and why he chose to write it from the perspective of Anne Morgan. Not only was he hilarious, he gives a shout out to Drunk History for helping with his historical research...same.
