Cassie Workman is a comedian from Australia who will be performing her one-person show, Aberdeen, at SF Sketchfest on Thursday, January 30th. The show is an epic poem inspired by the death of Kurt Cobain. Cassie shares with us how a visit to Cobain's hometown, Aberdeen, inspired her to write this show during the pandemic, the difference between comedy in Australia versus the states, and how a chance encounter with Phoebe Waller-Bridge helped elevate the show.
