Bloom Promos - 1 - Home - Metroyd Myk

Bloom is a time capsule - a reflection of my growth as a musician,  composer, and producer. The journey of Bloom began in 2013, when I was  first starting in music school, and ends in 2016, when I reworked the  tracks and considered the project to be completed. Bloom is free  creation from when I was unaware of the prejudices, biases, and  guidelines that constrain all artistic creation.
From today until the album’s release, I’ll be speaking to musically-inclined friends and family about each track on Bloom.
”Home” is the first track on Bloom. Michael Blanton, also known as Metroyd Myk, is a chiptune artist and bassist. We talked about how “Home” came to be, why I did and didn’t intend to write an ambient album, video game soundtracks, and much more.
